The major steps are first, becoming aware of the fact that we are master over matter (and matter includes the body). Then, the second major step is becoming master over mind. And when we become really masterful over mind we are able to and we do let go of mind and operate in the realm of omniscience, in the realm of knowingness. Then we are fully aware of the infinite Being that we are, and are in the ultimate Happiness. We should start with the first step, consciously controlling matter. Whether we are aware of it or not, everyone is controlling matter all the time. Whether one wants to be a demonstrator or not, he is. It is impossible to not be a creator all the time. Everyone is creating every day. We are not aware of it because we just don't look at it. We have demonstrated or created everything we have! Every thought, every single thought, materializes in the physical world. It's impossible to have a thought that will not materialize (except that we reverse it). If we think the opposite right after we have a thought, with equal strength, we neutralize it.
So this thing of demonstration that we are all trying so hard to accomplish, we are doing all the time, unconscious of the fact that we're doing it.
You are a creator, so long as you have a mind and think.

Q: Does that mean if I think my dog died my dog will die???
Ada: Did you take that thought to be true? What reason would you have to suddenly believe your dog is dead? No, thought materializes when it's absolute, that is when you think "My fridge is in the kitchen", you have no doubts or questions coming along with that, it's a statement you take as real. You think your fridge is in the kitchen, and so it is. You have no feelings regarding that, it is just a statement, it is just reality.
Q: Okay then, how do I make reality of me being Lara?
Ada: This is why I insist to see you aren't either. You can't let go of Vanessa now because you think you are her. Can you think of your fridge being in the living room while you're convinced it is in the kitchen? You don't even allow yourself to, if that thought comes into being - you brush it off, you can't take it for a possibility because you know the fridge is in the kitchen. If you really thought you were Lara, the way you think your fridge is in the kitchen, then that would be materialized with no question. Do you ask questions about Vanessa being materialized? No, she is. No questions asked. You may have all these big feelings about her, but she is because you think so so strongly in the first place, you never allowed yourself to doubt it. Stop thinking it is so and see. what. happens. This is why I insist on equal-mindedness toward all bodies/persons, because then you can just pick and have it be so instantly. Now you don't pick because you go back to dealing with all of Vanessa's baggage, because you think she is the All, the background, the source - and you need to work with that, change her thinking to change her reality. There's this have to, have to, have to━you can't let go of. But Self is not Vanessa.
Being your Self is having all the fridges floating in space, picking one and placing the fridge wherever you want with a thought.
Revert to your natural state and have any thought be absolute the way Vanessa in this moment is to you absolute.

First and foremost get to a place where the person you're identified with right now doesn't bother you anymore. It's a kind of surrendering but to me, truthfully and honestly, it felt more like a giving up. Even if it makes you miserable, accept it until you no more fear it or care if you stay the same.
If anybody here started from law of attraction back in 2020, you may know they had a step to "let go", everybody revolted because if we want it of course we aren't gonna be able to let it go. They were right, but not in the way they thought they were. Both letting go or trying to convince our ego of something does nothing. It feels very unnatural and:
• delusional to claim you have something you do not see, depending on everyone's personality;
• rage inducing to be told to let go when the ego considers this desire a NEED, it has to have it and nothing will stop it.
Last year when I've read Lester's book for the first time, it made my heart drop each time he said "Let go of all desires" - it made me feel hopeless instead of empowered. I was like "you can't be serious, I CAN'T, you're supposed to help me not sink me". Nobody trusts in the "let go", especially now after law of assumption when you know you are the source of all that is. Let go and do what? Who's gonna give it to me if it's all my doing? It really made me feel nauseous when he told me to stop desiring because I really couldn't go on without having what I needed. It felt like he was telling me to just endure life. We all got into loa because we were at low bottom and wished ourselves better, what do you mean wish nothing? I half wanted to smack him.
After law of attraction, it was law of assumption - you lose patience and gain resentment when it doesn't show up when you want it to, sometimes (a lot) not at all. You aren't sure of anything, you're just supposed to blindly trust. Don't ask how, don't ask when, just fulfill yourself. Well I want it now and I want it like this, if it's all me why isn't it happening now and like this???? It was contradicting and nothing exponentially significant happened no matter how much I mentally acted as that person, since I still knew myself to be me (past ego).
Loa was wrong about letting go because you can't let go of desires or fears if you don't know who you really are. If you think you are this ego you can't help being anxious. You can't help wanting to get. Real Surrendering can only be of the ego. By letting go of who you think you are and seeing you were never it in the first place, that it is because YOU are, you naturally drop all desires and fears because they weren't yours. And if you want to be a person, now can just pick another person who has none. You aren't anxious because you have no reason to, you were never what you thought to be your self so nothing can stop you from changing anymore. Doubts don't exist because they don't have "time" to. Creation is instantaneous with the creator. There's no rage or resentment since emotions are of the ego, your real self has an equal attitude toward everything.
See that you are first, with no labels; not even that of male/female. SEE THAT FOR EVERYTHING ELSE TO BE YOU NEED TO BE FIRST. See how there would be no thing if there wasn't someone for it to happen to! There is no world and no person without the one who experiences it. You are that one and not the thing you are conscious of.

Before I could join Tumblr, the 3 day Manifestation challenge was already published on Tumblr and it become really popular and so many Anons succeeded with it. It was STARLIET who made the post and oh my word, it was beautiful ( I miss her sm ). So, this was inspired by star and my anon <3.
The 3 day concept was based on the following points :

If I would now assume I AM what I want to be, and if I AM faithful to it and walk as though I were, the very longest stretch given for it’s realization is three days. Main terms to understand in this post ♡ -
State of akin to sleep is the most talked about method in Neville's Goddard books and it is one of his favourite techniques to manifest. Sats is basically falling asleep in the wishfulied state in even more simpler terms meaning imaging your desires as if it ALREADY manifested.
Neville says:
" You change your future best when you are in control of your thoughts while in a state akin to sleep, for then effort is reduced to its minimum. Your attention seems to completely relax, and then you must practice holding your attention within that feeling, without using force, and without using effort " .
Living in the end means to go straight into end idea of what it feels to have your manifestation. As Star said, what thoughts will you think, if you had your desire!
" Techniques such as affirmations, visualization, feeling as if, are very important. You do them, let's say 15 minutes, multiple times a day, and then during the day, you just remind yourself "It's done." You have it. You are it. The problem is resolved. THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO DO. "

Firstly, I understand that some of y'all might have problems with visualizing when it's comes to sats, but that's totally ok. Instead of imaging you can use Affirmations <3.
Your Affirmations can be :
✧ It's a fact that I always manifest within 3 days.
✧ I successfully entered the void state within 3 days
✧ I always wake up in the void state aware within 3 days.
✧ I can easily manifest whatever I want within 3 days.
Step 1 : In the morning as you wake, you are naturally in Sats without having to meditate to get into it.
You start affirming any of the affirmations above or simply imagine telling someone that entering the void state is completely easy for you.
Step 2 : During the day 3x whatever time you want, you going to meditate on the feeling of the wishfulied on how entering the void state is easy for you. See, think and act it out in your imagination. For example, I want you simply feel how it would be if you entered the void state and manifested all your desires, would you feel excited, happy or fulied. This will take you out of the " TRYING " mindset and put into your desired state of being a master of the void state.
Before bed, you are also naturally in sats, use this as the perfect time to affirm any of the above affirmations. Know that you will wake up in the void state within 3 days!!
REPEAT FOR THE NEXT 2 DAYS!!

4dbarbie: Everything about Vanessa is meaningless. She has a life and if it's boring, who cares? Forget it. What do you need these stories for? Do you not understand they have reality because you give it to them? YOU! They have no standing on their own! The whole world is just your mere thought. The body exists because you are aware of it being! Only you have this power. Only you are. Why are you dreaming like this? Gosh, you break my heart. If Vanessa is hurting you why do you keep on choosing her?
Vanessa: Then what should I do? I still have things I desire despite knowing I cannot desire because I am not a person, ego, mind...
4dbarbie: You know it intellectually, but have you acted on it at all? You know yourself as Vanessa by acting like Vanessa, know yourself as your Self by acting like yourself. Desires and fears dissipate then. You have desires still because you never stopped thinking you're Vanessa. Investigate who Vanessa actually is :) Spoiler alert: it's a thought! Think something else and see what happens.
Vanessa: How long will this take? When will I see a change?
4dbarbie: Now. Who is doing the change in attitude, what are you waiting for to happen for you to change your attitude? It's instant. You see it, you realize you have no reason to worry/doubt/desire/fear anymore, let things happen as they happen while you're undisturbed and they dissolve.
Vanessa: Should I just keep assuming that I don't desire things anymore because I already have it while I'm denying and dismissing my senses? It feels like I'm just waiting and being delusional though
4dbarbie: Your world is right and perfect, what you see is what you are so even if you're seeing what 'you' don't want, the world is not wrong in being what it is. Fearing it, trying to manipulate it, lying to yourself about it being something different - all useless and vain attempts.

And no, being delusional is not good, it leads you not to trust your own judgment or senses. Which is not right, why shouldn't you? What is wrong with your vision? Being delusional from your ego self is really harmful, someone could be abusing you and you would go "i'm sure that's not right he loves me so much in my mind!!!"
You won't be able to get rid of the waiting feeling as long as you're identified with your ego, it can manipulate nothing. And if you weren't your ego -- everything would already be materialized, so there would be nothing to wait for.
Vanessa: Well since I Am and I give life to everything, when Vanessa desires something, I can just "give" her her desires, right?
4dbarbie: The desire that *I*... the desire is of Vanessa, the Self can have that and it's nothing to it. It's just another experience. Those things are in you, not you in them.
You don't have to give her anything... you don't have to fulfill anybody... I Am is already everything... you only don't see you are all and have the all because you won't stop thinking you're the ego. All you're doing all the time is creating lack & limitation, perfection already is. You just add unsatisfying labels constantly with your wrong thinking.
Let go of the thinking, it's instant. No need to fulfill anybody. 1 My tip is to realize your Self, have enough courage to face Vanessa's fears. See how unnecessary is to pay them any mind at all. Let go of thinking you are this little helpless thing already. After you realize yourself, any bold assertion does it. There's no time delay. 2
Vanessa: Now I feel defeated, do I just give up on everything then?
4dbarbie: Feeling defeat is actually good, it prompts you to let go :D You don't need to reach for what is already within you. Give up the idea that you have not found it and just let it come into the focus of direct perception, here and now, by letting go of all that is of the mind.

You have it, all is well. Just stop believing the illusions born out of thinking you're a person.
Vanessa: So as Awareness, I have to stop desiring?
4dbarbie: If you know yourself to be Awareness, then you know yourself to be the all. There is nothing to desire, because you have no reason to create desire.
That's why it's necessary to realize all that is is awareness and the person comes second. If you think all that is is the person, then the chances of believing you're suddenly a different person are slim, and the persuasion and convincing are nothing but a form of self-instilled mental torture. 1 All you're doing is imagining/thinking you're an ego who has to strive for things, but it is "I AM" imagining itself to be so.
What is beyond is clear of all striving. The cause of suffering is in the identification of the perceiver with the perceived. - Nisargadatta Maharaj
When that identification ceases, so does desire. Then, if you want to express yourself as being a person, nothing is stopping you from doing so, only know yourself first. After that, no matter what you choose to experience the world as, you will know you are not it and it can't hurt you.
Vanessa: What do I do when a desire or fear comes to my mind then? It doesn't feel right to suppress them...
4dbarbie: I am not talking of suppression. Just refuse attention. Nisargadatta has a saying "When you happen to walk in a crowd, you do not fight every man you meet — you just find your way between." Neville has another "Indifference is the knife that severs, feeling is the tie that binds." When you refuse to play the game, you are out of it.
Vanessa: Then how do I stop feeling anxious about trying to change my life?
4dbarbie: You are not the one who is anxious or fearful, the ego is fearful. LOA was wrong about letting go because you can't let go of desires or fears if you don't know who you really are. If you think you are this ego you can't help being anxious. You can't help wanting to get. Real surrendering can only be of the ego. By letting go of who you think you are and seeing you were never it in the first place, that it is because YOU are, you naturally drop all desires and fears because they weren't yours. 1 Get into a habit of watching, letting them be but not identifying with them. If you can observe them, it means you are not them.
Abandon all imaginings and know yourself as you are. All craving is due to a sense of insufficiency. When you know that you lack nothing, that all there is, is you and yours, desire ceases. - Nisargadatta Maharaj
Vanessa: How do I stop feeling doubts then?
4dbarbie: You shut them down. There is no reason to argue with them, contemplate them, or give them any kind of attention at all. See them for what they are, an illusion of the mind. When you catch yourself being aware of something that's undesirable, just go 'What problem?' and know it to be perfect again. Always remember, the real you can't have doubts, only your ego can.
Vanessa: I feel like I'm not doing enough to realize my true Self. How can I be more productive on this journey?
4dbarbie: There's nothing to be productive about. What a silly concept. Don't add another burden or worry onto yourself. Right now you make yourself guilty over not seeking more and doing more to attain realization, but you already have it. You need not take time to meditate or put time aside to contemplate and "apply". All you need to do is detach from this form during the day, let life happen as it happens while reminding yourself it's a dream, a dream that doesn't have to be yours.
The guilt is because you think you're running out of time and you need to change "your" life now. Be patient with yourself because you don't lose any time, just get to that place I'm telling you about and then you can just go back in time if you so wish. All worry is pointless! And there is nothing to fear, things just happen, do not claim them as yours for a while. Unclutter your mind, it becomes your servant after you've freed it enough.
Now that you know you're not a solid person, do you just go with whatever pops up in mind? I imagine the effect of experiencing doesn't change much, other than feeling unconditional freedom? Does sadness even come up in an extensive way at this point?
Who feels "unconditional freedom"?
What you're asking still assumes there's a “me” who now operates differently because something was "realized" — but there was never a "me" to begin with.
Whether a thought arises, or sadness passes through, none of that was ever “mine” or “not mine” to begin with. So no, it’s not about “following whatever pops up” or “never feeling sad again.” It’s just not personal anymore. There’s no one trying to manage it.
So if sadness arises, it arises — but it’s not happening to someone, and it doesn’t need to be held onto or avoided. It just moves through like anything else, without a story around it.
I could go on to explain what “it” is — awareness, presence, whatever word you like — but none of that ever reallycaptures it. The mind tries to grasp it by asking more and more, but it’s not something that gets clearer with extra thinking. The answer can be shared, sure — but it’s never truly understood unless it's seen directly, not as a concept, but as what’s already here before thought even begins.
Then why do you even eat sleep or even live these are wants by the way , wanting and desiring are a part of dream yes it is not “us” wanting or desiring also how does desiring a mansion or whatever any different than wanting to eat if that so then you do also not practice ND right or whatever that is because i am sure you do have desires on daily
The motivation is different, you have desires because you take yourself to be separate
That is literally it, you’re giving yourself reasons to compensate yourself when we have countlessly talked about how there can be a participation in the dream without taking it seriously
In a simulation game , why do you do play it if it’s not real? In a lucid dream, do you just stand in one place because it’s unreal or do you continue on except with the unshakable knowing of the dream world having no substance
Of course desires are present, no one said they would disappear, sometimes I have the desire to delete my blog cause I feel like my words are literally doing nothing
Essentially, desires in themselves aren’t bad, but coming into ND with the sole aim of attaining something is what is futile because that alone contradicts “non duality”, desires are present due to the idea of being a real separate person in a real world that is against you
When living in the end, you're basically pretending that you already have what you want. You act and you think like the person who already has what they want. It's that simple !
A big mistake most people do when living in the end is that they wait for their desire, they think about it coming soon or they want it to come. The point of living in the end is that you're living as you already have it, not as waiting for it to arrive. When you stop waiting for your desire to appear, that's when you will get it because the 3D has no other choice than to reflect. When you look at yourself, imagine yourself as the person who has that desire. Whenever you think of your desire, remind yourself that you are already the person who has it. Keep doing this and there is no way you won't succeed. Whenever you have doubts, relax and ask yourself: "am I waiting for my desire to come to me or do I already have it? " There will be days of doubting and that's absolutely normal. Relax, clear your mind and focus on the basics. Tell yourself that it is done, you have what you want, because you do. Feel the joy of already having your desire, not of waiting for it to arrive.
I wanted to share a few words of advice with you guys for times when you feel overwhelmed by doubt or uncertainty that you might fail or it won't turn out in your favor:
whenever I feel myself succumbing to an unfavorable pattern of thinking by giving into my worries, I like to recenter myself by remembering that I don’t live in a world of facts, I live in a world of imagination and the only one who can sabotage anything is myself by what I choose to be because I am, have been and always will be the cause, so if I can pick between being accepted or rejected and the same "effort" is required for both then why would I not pick acceptance?
a lot of us self sabotage by feeding into the unfavorable scenario because we have so many reasons to believe that it won’t work out. but you don’t need to be concerned with it “working out” or not because creation is finished. you’re not "creating" a state of consciousness because they all exist within you awaiting occupancy. the means are not up to you to determine. you're only asked to accept it by claiming yourself to be via I AM.
I'll repeat this again because it's very important that you understand this: the world is a reflection of the state you choose to be conscious of. key word: choose. if you can choose fear, you can also choose love. if you can choose failure, you can also choose success. every possibly conceivable state is ready for you to select and occupy at all times. there's no need to fear the outer world since it's only showing you your self concept (the state you have selected willingly or unwillingly). when you bring yourself back to this fact, you realize that you really are above your fear and you no longer need to feel bound by it because you can always select something other than fear. the 3D cannot show you anything you aren’t conscious of being, so it’s always up to you whether you want to be conscious of winning or losing. it follows you, the 3D isn’t randomized and subject to chance, it is a reflection of you. at this and every moment you get to decide what the reflection will look like. so will you persist in desire or will you persist in fulfillment?
i really like when u talk abt ur own experiences when dealing with all this!! could u expand more on how u manifested ur apartment? like what ur daily life looked like, etc. bc im in a similar situation w a mentally exhausting family and im trying to get tf out lol
TW: narcissistic/co-dependent parent
yeah! so my older sister got married and moved out, leaving me alone with a narcissistic parent, so i knew i really wanted to move out and live on my own. but i had negative circumstances. for instance my parent was really co-dependent, which led to them never letting me get my drivers license or a job. even when i was 20-21. plus this was during lockdown so i didn't really have the ability to learn how to drive from other means. plus along with not being able to drive and not having the money to afford living on my own, i knew my parent would never let me move out bc they didn't want to be alone. so i was really depressed because my situation felt very hopeless.
but then i remembered the power of manifestation. i had manifested an sp at this point and other things, such as appearance changes and money here and there, but this was a "big" manifestation. big meaning that so many dominoes had to fall in just the right places, so to speak. for instance i was nervous that i'd wake up in a new apartment and not be able to pay the rent to live there and have to move out. so i was unsure if i should manifest money first, and then manifest the apartment. but what i was imagining as my end was me in my apartment with more than enough money to survive, so i decided not to manifest in steps.
i was triggered a LOT at first, bc like i mentioned i was dealing with a co-dependent narcissistic parent. like sometimes they'd talk about how i'd still be living at home till i was 25+ and the idea made me go absolutely crazy. i went through months of being miserable at the idea, thinking about how all my peers were living on their own and not having to deal with the shit i did. but eventually i just got so fed up and i decided i just needed to go completely in, because i had been putting off really applying for the longest time.
so what i did was make a note in my notes app describing my dream apartment, and i included pics i found on Pinterest of different features i wanted in my apartment. like what i wanted the kitchen and bathroom to look like, the specific vanity i wanted, etc.
then whenever i thought about it, i'd tell myself i was already there and the apartment was mine. similarly to Abdullah slamming the door on Neville and saying "you are in Barbados", any time i wondered how it would happen or think about how it hadn't reflected yet, i'd tell myself "you are in your dream apartment." it was a reminder that i wouldn't be wondering any of those things, or worrying or doubting, if i was already in my dream apartment. and i already was there in my imagination! so there was no room for me to be dwelling on stuff like that.
throughout the day, i liked to retreat to my imagination when i had time and felt upset about my 3D. i'd do so by imagining that my surroundings were different. for instance i had a picture saved of what i wanted my shower to look like (it was always my dream to have a really really nice bathroom bc my shower has always been a safe space for me of sorts lmao) so when i was in the shower, i'd close my eyes and imagine i was in that shower i had saved from Pinterest. i also did this in the kitchen when i was cleaning or cooking, and while i laid in bed at night before falling asleep.
i also never really let people come over to my house when i lived with my parent(s) bc my co-dependent narcissistic parent would always come up with some completely insane and random reason why they didn't like that friend and i'd never hear the end of it. so i'd have inner convos with myself about how i was excited my friend was coming over later and i'd come up with different things we'd be doing. this was another way i liked to fulfill myself in my imagination.
whenever i was interacting with my parent, as i way to dismiss my 3D, i just pretended i was visiting home and that's why i was with them/at their house. it helped me remind myself that being there wasn't permanent.
this manifestation took me a couple of months, as i was triggered a lot. eventually, after fulfilling myself enough and finding solace in my imagination whenever i felt bad, i was triggered less and less by my 3d and circumstances. i also manifested my parent being chiller and blowing up a lot less.
the final thing i was missing was that i was in a neutral state a lot and i thought because i wasn't upset by my 3d that meant i wasn't in the state of lack. i just had this epiphany recently on my twitter, so it took me a while to correct this issue because i didn't even know it was an issue. i had that epiphany well after successfully manifesting my apartment.
the neutral state was me being like "oh my 3d isn't too bad i kinda like chilling in my room unbothered." so i wasn't upset at my 3d, but i was still also acknowledging i didn't have what i wanted. this was fixed when i started imagining my surroundings as my dream apartment, like i mentioned a few paragraphs up.
and then one day, i woke up and my surroundings felt different. i sleep with a sleeping mask on, so when i wake up and open my eyes, it's still pitch black. but i felt the air around me was different, and the sounds around me were different. like the sound of my ceiling fan in my room was different. then i took off my sleeping mask and i was in my new room, in my new apartment!
it was kinda spooky at first im ngl. at first i thought i was dreaming, but i wasn't (i checked). then i just explored the apartment! i was paranoid i was gonna find someone in my apartment or something 😭 but the apt was exactly how i wanted it to look, and i had plenty of money in my bank account to cover rent and bills and food! and i've been living here ever since with virtually 0 problems :)
need i say more? no, not really but of course i will say more.
identifying with failure is the cause of failure. when you wake up from a shifting attempt and are still in your current, undesired reality, the automatic reaction for some is to admit defeat and accept that you failed. yet, the most successful people are the ones who do not accept failure. it is simply not an option that exists in their stratosphere so remove it from yours.

this is the mindset we all must adopt. if you know that you cannot fail, that means that nothing can go wrong. it means you do not have to do anything, it will happen on it's own because above all else you will persevere and succeed.
this applies to manifestation as well, not just shifting because this is how life works.
you do not need to live by the auto-assigned rules of this reality. do not take what you are processing with your five senses as an unrefusable fact, you decide what's fact or not. dare to assume success when you would normally assume failure.
every moment is being spent in the reality that you want, no matter what. only accept that and nothing else. no matter what you do, say, or think YOU ARE THERE.
try this out for a week or two. whenever you start to think you are failing or might have already failed, stop yourself and remember that failure is no longer an option so what's there to worry about? stop using effort, trying a billion different methods, and worrying about time while doing this and solely focus on knowing you are always successful in your endeavors but make sure to be gentle with yourself though, this isn't a witch hunt. even if nothing seems like it's changed, it has. you have changed and that's all that needs to change in order to succeed because everything comes from you. this is an amazing foundation to have, you are gaining confidence and acting with brazen impudence.
"maybe next time it'll work? ugh, this is so hard. when will it happen? how long does it take to shift? can this be manifested?" girl, drop it. you've won, chill. how can you fail when you've already gotten first place? let's stop pitying ourselves.

I sincerely apologise for writing this. i feel really conflicted right now. I have been getting suicidal thoughts lately because of my circumstances. Sometime I feel like I don’t even want to exist. I came to non-duality from loa. I spent 3 years trying to “manifest” a peaceful life. Trying to escape from my circumstances and wake up to a completely different life.
I make myself promises to like “manifest my desired life my the end this month” or “to stop making the same mistake” but I end up breaking them. I felt like I over consumed alot and now I don’t know where to begin or what to detach from. I tell myself that I’ll throw my phone aside and start applying but then I get caught up in my problems again and it’s just a cycle on repeat.
I have to say I’m quite ashamed of myself. Not being able to accomplish anything in my life and disappointing those around me despite knowing the law of assumption and now non-duality.
This is probably the most stupidest thing I have ever asked but could you simply non-duality in a a few sentences? I feel like I have come to the point where I can’t even trust myself to stop over consuming and wishing for change. Thank you.

the body-mind, the "I" you think you are, i'll call them sam!
give up trying to manifest. give up trying to change the world with sam's thoughts and feelings, its torture.
here's the main point:
simple mindfulness is what gurus have asked of us. not convincing, denial or forcing. its observing.
observe the habit of 'you'. you take the "I" to be the body-mind, sam. sam is a habit, and is sustained through attachment and aversions. drop them.
all you need to fix is your wrong identification. let go of sam and all their stories.
if you find yourself forcing, suppressing, or trying to get rid of sam (something that you don't do), then remember this: god is already perfect. the answer is to surrender.
there's no image or role to maintain. you can just be.

there's so many words for Self: Absolute Perfection, Bliss, Infinite Being, Supreme Reality. i want you to remember I AM. I AM is complete and whole, alone. its just beingness. just as it is. before the world and sam, you are conscious. before wanting, you are conscious.
nondualism's goal is letting go of all the concepts that stop you from seeing Self.
the body-mind is a thought. its an idea. you are already detached from sam. but you don't see it bcs you are identified with them right now. you are attached to your character, and we want to release all those attachments.

the mind is just a bunch of thoughts, feelings and memories. are you a thought? are you a story? are you a memory? are you a feeling?
sam is. but you are not sam.
sam doesn't want sam and all the stories anymore (likely because you think you are stuck as sam). but sam never was. sam is an idea, a story. they are a thought in the mind. because you are identified as sam, you see sam. without your awareness on sam, sam wouldn't be.
Unless they understand who they really are, that Vanessa (sam) is a habit and nothing more - that nothing has existence outside of awareness, including her, that awareness assigns reality and is the only reality - they're always going to struggle to control something and get frustrated they don't see what they think they're aware of. What you're aware of is what you're being. You can't be aware of being something new while also being Vanessa. [source]

and by habit of taking the "I" to be sam, it continues.
focus on respond vs react. start catching yourself out when you say 'i am ...', start asking questions to yourself abt who 'i' is. start watching your thoughts. learn how to feel your emotions when they come up, don't run away from them or they will continue to come up until you deal with it. this is a process of allowing.

i want you to accept now. you are sam, so you see sam. stop chasing a future that will never come. there's only ever the present moment.

what would happen if you stopped using the past as a reference? what would happen if you stopped projecting past stories into the future? what would happen if you stopped thinking of a tomorrow?

start with "who am i?". anything you can outgrow? not you. anything you can observe ? not you. in the absense of it, you don't disappear? not you. it changes and you don't disappear? not you.
how do you know you are sam except by your belief that you are sam?

give yourself compassion. give yourself space to grow. sam is a random person just like anybody else, so why chastise them for stuff that just happens?
sam cannot do anything in the first place. (what is sam gonna do to change the infinte? why would the infinite need changing anyway?)
you are putting pressure on sam to change the world, but really Self orchestrates all. sam is just another creation of Self. this entire world is Self's expression. give up intellectualising what sam did, maybe it has nothing to do with you and it just happened?
sam is already part of infinity and exists whether sam likes it or not. you are unconditionally accepted already as perfection or else you wouldn't be here.
