I can easily escalate from there because your presence, your values, beauty, pleasure all become very triggering to other people (yes, even people you’re not even dating/ interested in or in a relationship with).

🥀 Certain clothing, makeup, or other forms of expression may be deemed overly exposing, provocative, or "sexy" on you, but if someone without the 8th house/scorpio energy wore them, the response would be far less intense and dramatic. I've also noticed that women with this placement got policed A LOT with their clothing and bodies growing up, being sexualized as young children as well.

🥀also that can create a sense of distortion/ trauma in your relationship with your body. so some days those venus in the 8th house could dress up or do what they usually do in their routine (unique to them) that makes them feel beautiful, but they still might not be able to see that beauty or feel it. Her family/friends were complaining that she “wastes too much money on stuff like that” and to not get the laser. she ended being able to EASILY save for it, didn’t tell anyone and got it. Now these same people are telling her “omg ur skin looks so good! etc etc.” that’s because as an eighth house Venus a lot of people might not understand your routines. They might even feel jealous about the things you have for them (like your perfumes, skin care, accessories, clothes, hair products etc).

🥀^ BUT as an 8th house venus, the better you feel about yourself, the more your relationships prosper. And sometimes the same people complaining about the money you “waste” would NOT complain if you were giving them gifts the same price. sometimes people resent you for looking a certain way or having things that they secretly wanted as well. but the only difference is that the 8th house Venus person took the risk and interest in investing in it.

🥀so don’t be afraid to make your nail or hair appointments, get that massage, get that facial etc and keep it cute and lowkey. Don’t let people get into a habit of asking you the prices of things you do/ buy only to then shame you for it. it can become a vicious cycle, especially with the people close to you.

🥀as an 8th house venus, you KNOW for sure someone is bad for you if you start losing so much money when they’re in your life/ precense. My sister has an 8h Venus in sidereal and OMGGGG, when she’s with people that clearly care about her, her finances and savings stack up. recently, she befriended some people that she wasn’t sure they had her best interest in mind & she kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. She ended up losing like 2000 dollars because of some trouble she got with them :( Her relationships (venus) have a direct relationship with her finances (8h).

🥀to add on to that, 8th housers in general tend to have a powerful intuition (that they have to be careful to balance and not let it succumb to paranoia). she kept having gut feelings that maybe these people didn’t like her as much as it seemed. From what Ive noticed physical appearance and behaviour was a huge part of this relationship. Pain too. A trauma bond. Wounded. Healing eachother. Bonding because of this wound. Similar childhood traumas. Both of them act a certain way because of what happened in childhood. For example both of them might be very ”tough” because they were bullied as kids and learned to put up this tough facade. Something about the others presence is triggering but healing too. Seeing through the others facade. ”You dont have to be tough infront of me”. Maybe even bothered by the others act sometimes. Knowing eachother a little too well.

When it comes to looks I feel like for some reason looks can be a very big issue in this relationship or they can heal eachothers issues with their looks. Something about how the two of them looks becomes a ”thing” here. For example they might look super different from eachother which others constantly comment on to the point it becomes their ”thing”. A huge age difference that awake reactions. Something about them might make them the elephant in the room when they are together.

But they can also heal wounds related to appearance. Like growing up feeling unattractive and then bam you meet this person who views you as aphrodite in the flesh. Amor Asteroid (1221) and soulmates

The Amor asteroid in Astrology is connected to platonic love and compassion - similarly to Ceres it can represent unconditional love, one that doesn't need to have a reason to exist, one that would exist regardless of the circumstances, but in a romantic way, unlike Ceres which is normally connected to a mother-child type of relationship.

Amor can show intimacy, closeness, a relationship that doesn't have to be sexual, but one that carries a strong connection between the two people. The Amor person may fall in love with the Sun/AS person's presence, their being. They can romanticize them, view them through rose-colored glasses (at times it can be quite Neptunian). The Sun/AS person will feel truly confident, appreciated, worthy and valid. They can view each other as their ideal lover, as someone who directly represents the qualities in the person they have always wanted to love.

Amor conjunct the other person's Moon

This can give a feeling that it was "meant to be". It can be very selfless, quite sacrificial at times as if even hurting the other person the slightest causes great pain to yourself too. Amor conjunct the other person's Psyche

This can show a love that is very emotional - very profound. It is not physical, not just emotional - it seems to come from a very different place. VENUS IN THE 8th HOUSE; Observations

I’ll be honest, sometimes I find myself getting annoyed with how often this placement is talked about. I see it mentioned in nearly every astro post related to love, sex, and beauty. This placement is constantly being discussed. So, I guess it just proves the point that this placement really does draw in a ton of obsessive attention. It is honestly crazy, and in a way I feel bad for those with this placement. I think people overlook all their other qualities in favor of their sexual appeal. It is almost like other people can’t see beyond their appearance and allure. As a result, these natives draw in many people who want to own them rather than get to know them. How is that any fun? These individuals are incredibly sensitive and deserve to experience deep love. Instead, they find themselves surrounded by jealousy and a life plagued by themes of possession. The love they received growing up was not safe and consistent, making it hard for them to navigate adult relationships. They themselves are possessive over others because the only times in which they felt valued was when they were possessed. They have an incredibly difficult time distinguishing between love and possession, and find themselves trapped within a cycle of codependent relationships. They are in constant need of a “favorite person” who will help them walk through the difficult aspects of life. They hold a deep mistrust towards others and will test people to see how far their loyalty actually goes. To make things more frustrating, these types are not the most forthcoming with their feelings. this one hits home haha. I'm the Mars person in the 7th house Synastry currently!

I noticed it really varies based on the sign. So that that into account as well.

MARS IN THE 7TH HOUSE SYNASTRY

the Mars person could be more into the 7th house, or they just want things quicker, they could be very decisive already at the beginning

Mars person usually has another person talking into their ear, like a friend, a mother waiting for you to get married etc.

7th house acts even more decisive than usually, but they also give out mix signals, could flirt with Mars person a lot one day and then they brush it off like it's nothing and y'all just hanging

7th house often thinks Mars person moves too fast

Mars person could have manipulative tactics, they present themselves to 7th house like they have so much in common, but 7th house see through it and knows that those interests are not so genuine
