Who is Scrooge?.... Harry, pre amnesia Harry yes yes. It's crazy but this au is not meant to be taken seriously.

The scene with Belle and Ebenezer, literally was Harry and Dora, am I wrong?

His interactions with the spirits. The events take place when he is 43 I decided. And spirit Harry is the one to show him Dora's new family, because he isn't as old as Scrooge so the family thing wouldn't be in the past I would think.

Idk who the Cratchits are or anything else, this au is not reappearing but I had to draw it at least once.

“A Christmas Carol” Book Review

“A Christmas Carol”! What a wonderful story! I never thought this book to be this humorous and heart- warming at the same time. Dickens was a great writer indeed. This book has every Christmas vibes to it  starting from presents to foods and family time. 

I was really impressed to find out how the story proceeds. Particularly, how Scrooge was learning and realizing how he should have treated people on the basis of what he had experienced in the past. I felt like sometimes we ought to see things with our own eyes to feel it, to believe it. The story has an interesting way to teach us humanity and humanitarian activities. 

And what can I say about Scrooge? He was such a miser. I felt like there was no juice of life left in him in the beginning. But he was definitely not like him in the past. Loneliness and childhood trauma make people feelings-less and hard. So was the case with him.

I was impressed with this book. Highly recommend it. Perfect for the Christmas!!

"Scrooge only changed because he saw how nobody mourned him after his death" NO NO NO NO. You don't get it! The last spirit only worked because of the spirits that came before softening him up! If the spirits had shown him dead and ungrieved only it would not work. As the night goes on amid the visits Scrooge is already visibly changing. He's different after the first spirit and even more so after the second. And it's because of how much he's already changed that the final spirit is able to succeed

A day late...I was too busy watching our absolute favorite Doctor Who episode of all time yesterday with my husband in honor of the solstice, it's our yearly tradition. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!! last night (or rather early this morning) I had a cute small interaction with the first blog I ever followed here on tumblr years ago and was so starstruck I didn't sleep for an hour lol. this is kinda silly but i'd like to think it was the worlds little christmas present to me, cheering me up in these crappy times. since i don't celebrate i'm probably just gonna binge movies as there are lots streaming on tv today and i'd like to get started on some movie reviews that'll be gradually posted in the upcoming weeks so look forward to that! in honour of today, i also plan on finally reading A Christmas Carol in its entirety and also for the sake of revising for literature and being somewhat productive today. as of tomorrow, I plan on revising for my upcoming sociology and french exams in late jan/early feb as well as catching up on literature. although languages and shakespeare don't exactly come easy to me so we'll need motivation for that! - i'll be sure to post about it and keep you updated! while writing this post i also came across the new beta editor and so far its pretty cool! i hope you liked this amalgamation of a studyblr/diarypost?! see you soon! until next time!  ~ Amimi

A Christmas Carol, but Scrooge is dead.

Requested and inspired by @blackforrestpunk in this post. Something concerning the cat Ayesha and Chistine has also been requested, but I haven't got around to that yet.

I used to hate Dickens, and now I find him tolerable at best, but his style gives me allowance to ramble in archaic language, so I'm not complaining. This is honestly not that far from my usual writing style, so I've already clunked out part 2 and 3, if the readers are interested.

Can someone for the love of god, please, write a fanfic about Tom Jenkins. New or Old I don’t care, but I have searched the internet, looked in every fan-fiction website, and have found nothing. Like please, I get there not being much about the old one because it’s really obscure (and I think I’m the only person on planet earth who fancies the old Tom Jenkins). But the new one? I thought people loved him.
