“If there is energy within the substance it can only come from without. This truth was so manifest to me that I expressed it in the following axiom: ‘There is no energy in matter except that absorbed from the medium…’ If all energy is supplied to matter from without then this all important function must be performed by the medium.”

“When radio-active rays were discovered their investigators believed them to be due to liberation of atomic energy in the form of waves. This being impossible in the light of the preceding I concluded that they were produced by some external disturbance and composed of electrified particles. My theory was not seriously taken although it appeared simple and plausible. Suppose that bullets are fired against a wall. Where a missile strikes the material is crushed and spatters in all directions radial from the place of impact. In this example it is perfectly clear that the energy of the flying pieces can only be derived from that of the bullets. But in manifestation of radio-activity no such proof could be advanced and it was, therefore, of the first importance to demonstrate experimentally the existence of this miraculous disturbance in the medium. I was rewarded in these efforts with quick success largely because of the efficient method I adopted which consisted in deriving from a great mass of air, ionized by the disturbance, a current, storing its energy in a condenser and discharging the same through an indicating device. This plan did away with the limitations and incertitude of the electroscope first employed and was described by me in articles and patents from 1900 to 1905. It was logical to expect, judging from the behavior of known radiations, that the chief source of the new rays would be the sun, but this supposition was contradicted by observations and theoretical considerations which disclosed some surprising facts in this connection.

“Light and heat rays are absorbed in their passage through a medium in a certain proportion to its density. The ether, although the most tenuous of all substances, is no exception to this rule.  Its density has been first estimated by Lord Kelvin and conformably to his finding a column of one square centimeter cross section and of a length such that light, traveling at a rate of three hundred thousands kilometers per second, would require one year to traverse it, should weigh 4.8 grams. This is just about the weight of a prism of ordinary glass of the same cross section and two centimeters length which, therefore, may be assumed as the equivalent of the ether column in absorption. A column of the ether one thousand times longer would thus absorb as much light as twenty meters of glass.  However, there are suns at distances of many thousands of light years and it is evident that virtually no light from them can reach the earth. But if these suns emit rays immensely more penetrative than those of light they will be slightly dimmed and so the aggregate amount of radiations pouring upon the earth from all sides will be overwhelmingly greater than that supplied to it by our luminary. If light and heat rays would be as penetrative as the cosmic, so fierce would be the perpetual glare and so scorching the heat that life on this and other planets could not exist.

“Rays in every respect similar to the cosmic are produced by my vacuum tubes when operated at pressures of ten millions of volts or more, but even if it were not confirmed by experiment, the theory I advanced in 1897 would afford the simplest and most probable explanation of the phenomena. Is not the universe with its infinite and impenetrable boundary a perfect vacuum tube of dimensions and power inconceivable? Are not its fiery suns electrodes at temperatures far beyond any we can apply in the puny and crude contrivances of our making? Is it not a fact that the suns and stars are under immense electrical pressures transcending any that man can ever produce and is this not equally true of the vacuum in celestial space? Finally, can there be any doubt that cosmic dust and meteoric matter present an infinitude of targets acting as reflectors and transformers of energy? If under ideal working conditions, and with apparatus on a scale beyond the grasp of the human mind, rays of surpassing intensity and penetrative power would not be generated, then, indeed, nature has made an unique exception to its laws.

I am told I have my father’s eyes.

They are the color of dripping honey and melted bronze, with flecks of the gold people desperately try to pull from the ground. When I am angry there is fire in their depths that only my salty tears have the power to put out.

I am told I have his lips and sharp tongue, both placed above an all too familiar chin. More often than not it is raised in defiance. My mother scolds me to think before I speak and reminds me that words hurt.

I am told I have his posture, shoulders back and arms crossed, my shield against the rest of the world.

I am told I have his temper; I inherited his rage. My mother tells me to be kind. How can I be in a world where fathers are supposed to cherish their daughters and yet mine decided to leave?

I think I inherited his need to flee. When a boy with a beautiful laugh tells me he loves me, all I want to do is leave every time I say it back, not because I don’t mean it, but because I do. I think I inherited his pride. I won’t be the one that loves more, the one that is left in pieces. I need to go.

Feeling like God put an angel on earth just for you…who could rescue you from the depths of hell. And you wouldn’t know what it’s like to be her angel and to have that love for her to be there forever. Through anything. Through cancer. You wouldn’t know about sleeping sitting’ up in a hospital room for two months holding her hand because the doctors could see in your eyes that the term visiting hours don’t apply to you. You don’t know about real loss, because that only occurs when you love something more than you love yourself. I doubt you’ve ever dared to love anybody that much. I look at you; I don’t see an intelligent, confident man; I see a cocky, scared shitless kid. But you’re a genius, Will. No one denies that. No one could possibly understand the depths of you. But you presume to know everything about me because you saw a painting of mine and you ripped my fuckin’ life apart. You’re an orphan right? Do you think I’d know the first thing about how hard your life has been, how you feel, who you are because I read Oliver Twist? Does that encapsulate you? Whats the story of you sleeping with a professor, like how did that happen?

So basically…I was taking this class called Fitness Theory and Practice. It was for a PE credit or something. There were three instructors and I just so happened to be assigned to his section of the class. As the semester went on, he and I would sort of crack jokes at each other. He was about 33, I think? So, he was pretty hip with the times and like, obviously in shape and shit (he teaches a fitness class). Eventually, I was like, “You said you do personal training, yeah? Can we like, make that a thing?” And he was like, “Yeah, fa show. Put your digits in my cellular.” So one night, he texted me and was like, “I’m about to go to the gym. Come with.” And I told him I couldn’t cause I had this health project I had to finish or something. So he says, “Bring your stuff, come to the gym with me, then come to my place after and we can work on your project.” At that point, I was like….this is weird, right? But I do anyway cause I’m a hoe. We get to his place and he’s like, “Where do you wanna start?” And I was just like, “I don’t even know. I have this project, then your project for your class, then a Bio test next week. You don’t just wanna give me an A on your project so I can work on my other stuff?” Y’all….he goes, “That’s fine.” El oh el. I was like, “Wait, what?” Then he goes, “Let’s finish your health project then we can study for your Bio test.” At this point, I’m like, is this dude a homo? Why is this happening? So, I decide to push it. I go, “It’s already hella late, I don’t know what we’re gonna get done.” He goes, “You can sleep here. We’ll study until we can’t and you can crash so you don’t have to drive to your place.” By now, I’m like, Oh… Def gay. So, because I’m me, I say, “Then I’d have to sleep on a couch and that just does not sound ideal…” He laughed and goes, “No you won’t.”

Then we had sex.

This is how I’d fallen out of love of him: I didn’t. It just that one day I woke up, and I just.. I just didn’t feel anything for him. Not love, not like, not hate, nor anger, not even sadness or disappointment, just.. nothing. Like my heart entered a sudden oblivion, and it just forgot. It forgot to remember to care for him or to think of him, and in a blink of an eye, everything about him, every feelings I associated with him is erased, and he didn’t matter anymore. Like he never really mattered at all. And I’m okay with it. I mean, it’s a lot like looking at a blank grey canvas, what do you suppose to feel about it? Nothing, right? Nothing and just okay.

“You’re the Mother of all Monsters.” The woman screams clutching her child close, so consumed in her grief she doesn’t see that the body in her hands has long since taken his last breath. ‘Yes.’ she agrees, ‘A monster I am.’ She glances at the sky and smiles slightly. Mother or Father the term is not true, because she didn’t make herself this way. ‘That honor was you.’ she says to the sky. Lilith, Mother of Monsters.

“What was Eden like?” One child asks as she leads them in their descent. She remembers Adam, the sting of rejection a slap on his face. She closes her eyes, and she can remember how menacing the garden had seemed. There were thorns in the bushes and snakes in the trees. “Cold.” She answers, “Cold and cruel.”

“Why do you have to take her?” The same line over and over, each time from a different source. “You think I chose to be this way?” She angrily barks out. The other women doesn’t comprehend, sobbing a single line, the words stinging like a holy verse. It’s not fair. It’s not fair. She takes her by the shoulders. “You think there is such a thing as fair.” She shakes her with every word, “that I rob you of your child, like I was robbed of my own?” The body drops from her hand, as the fury leaves her. “I was robbed too.”

“How did you become this way?” The mother of a sick child asks. She’s hoping for peace for her son, happiness free of illness that only Death can grant. “I refused a man.” Her eyebrow is raised. “I refused a man, and was made a demon for it.” It is dark, and in the dark she can remember the sharp cuts of the wind as she was pushed down. She can remember the cracks of her bones when she finally reached the ground, and how she lay there in a heap for weeks unable to move and barely able to breathe. “I refused to be a submissive wife, a senseless twit.” A twisted smile graces her lips. “You see the steps to Heaven are painted red. There’s rules you have to follow; otherwise you might as well be dead.”

“Do you miss the stars?” Adam asks when they pass each other on Earth. She glances to the sky and for a moment misses the taste of salvation, and the music that holy God damn music. “Do you miss Eve?” She bites back instead. To ache and crave for the impossible is a waste of her time. The naivety Adam is drenched in doesn’t suit her, though he has the decency to look guilty now. “What was it like for you?” he asks, avoiding the question, “What was it like when you fell?” She licks her lips and doesn’t miss how his eyes trail her tongue. “Lonely.”

“Did you love Him?” Eve asks after seeking her out. She thinks about the burns on her skin and the cuts along her back. Eve edges closer, her fingers move like ghosts down her arms. “I did.” She nods, “I loved him right until he pushed me off the edge.” Eve cries like the child she is. “Then why?” Why. Why. Why. Her lungs shake as the sigh tumbles from her mouth. “Because He didn’t love us as much as we loved him.”

Exoplanets: Strange New Worlds

Around a distant star 420 light years away is a planet with such huge rings that they’re 200 times larger than the rings of Saturn. The rings are about 74,560,000 miles in diameter and contain about as much mass as Earth itself. Gaps in the rings, like we see in Saturn’s rings, are likely created by exomoons orbiting around the planet, clearing out paths between the rings and keeping them distinct.

The Planet of Burning Ice

The most remarkable things happen when you push physics to extremes.

Far away in the Gliese star system is a Neptune-sized planet called Gliese 436 b. This world is covered in ice that burns constantly at 822.2˚ Fahrenheit (439˚ C).

The reason why the water doesn’t liquify and then turn into steam is due to the massive gravity of the planet - it exerts so much force on the water that the atoms are bound tightly together as a solid: burning ice.

The Diamond Planet

At about 7.8 times the mass of Earth, 55 Cancri e is an extremely carbon-rich planet orbiting a carbon-rich star. The intense density of the planet means that about 2/3rds of this planet’s core is made up of diamond. It’s literally a giant diamond (larger than Earth).

Hd 188753 Ab is a planet candidate with three suns. That’s more than even Luke Skywalker got! It turns out that binary star systems are actually quite common, however, and there are many worlds out there where the sunsets would happen twice (or more) a day. Maybe one day a lucky couple will sit beneath a pair of setting suns, holding hands as each star dips below the alien horizon.

The Water World (Miller’s Planet?)

GJ 1214b is 42 light years away from Earth. It’s 25% rock surrounded by 75% water. Its surface is an endless ocean not too dissimilar from what you’d see floating on a boat in the middle of the ocean on Earth.

As you go deeper below the surface though, you’d eventually hit ice. The water surrounding the core isn’t ice because of temperature though: the pressure of the water above it is so intense that it crushes the water below from a liquid into a solid form known as “ice VII”.

Earth 2.0

Kepler-438b orbits a star 470 light years away. It receives a similar amount of energy from its sun as does Earth. Its surface temperature is perfect for liquid water. 

On the Earth Similarity Index it’s received a 0.88, the highest score of any world (except of course Earth). Liquid water almost certainly exists there and with it, the best chance for alien life.

This is the sort of planet that makes me wonder when I look up at the stars, if somewhere far away, there isn’t someone looking back.

The water is hidden inside a blue rock that lies 700 kilometres underground in the mantle, the layer of hot rock between Earth’s surface and its core.

Some geologists think water arrived in comets as they struck planets, but the new discovery supports an alternative idea that the ocean oozed out of Earth’s interior layer.

The Brainwave States. Alpha is about relaxation, imagination, visualization. This slow cycle of brain wave is 7-12 HZ (beats per second) is also associated with peace, safety and is a great state of mind for relieving stress. It is considered a gateway to deeper realms of consciousness and the Schuman Resonance which is the resonant frequency of the earth’s electromagnetic field. This state is essential to well-being. Beta is mostly associated with concentration, cognition, alertness, and focus. This state of mind allows you to make connections quickly and come up with solutions and ideas. It is great for creative projects and also a great state of mind for sports or physical activity that requires focused attention. The Beta wave rate is between 13-40 HZ. Theta is the state associated with meditation, intuition, memory and was first noticed when EEG was applied to meditating monks. This mystical realm is elusive and mysterious since brain activity slows almost to the point of sleep, but not quite. This state brings heightened receptivity, visions, flashes of dreamlike imagery, inspiration, and your buried memories. You may feel like you are floating or that your spirit is reaching beyond the container of your body. It is 4-7 HZ. and 4.5 beats per second appears to be the most optimal for inducing this “shamanic” state of consciousness. This meditative state increases creativity, enhances learning, reduces stress and awakens intuition and other extrasensory perception skills. Delta clocks in at about 0-4 HZ, and is pretty much where we go when we are in a deep sleep. This state is crucial for restoration of the body and healing. Delta has a lot to do with the subconscious, the place where intuition arises. Gamma is hyperspeed, above 40 HZ, and it is the most recently discovered frequency. Little is known about this state of mind, but initial research shows gamma waves are associated with high-level information processing and bursts of insight. Perhaps we are evolving to adapt with our fast paced, technology-driven world?

Symbolism behind the Form of Shiva. Shiva (the auspicious one) is one of the principal deities of Hinduism. He is the Supreme Being within Shaivism, one of the major traditions within contemporary Hinduism. Shiva is the “destroyer of evil and the transformer” within the Trimurti, the Hindu trinity that includes Brahma and Vishnu. In Shaivism tradition, Shiva is the Supreme being who creates, protects and transforms the universe. In the goddess tradition of Hinduism called Shaktism, the goddess is described as supreme, yet Shiva is revered along with Vishnu and Brahma. A goddess is stated to be the energy and creative power (Shakti) of each, with Parvati the equal complementary partner of Shiva. He is one of the five equivalent deities in Panchayatana puja of the Smarta tradition of Hinduism. According to the Shaivism sect, the highest form of Shiva is formless, limitless, transcendent and unchanging absolute Brahman, and the primal Atman (soul, self) of the universe. Shiva has many benevolent and fearsome depictions. In benevolent aspects, he is depicted as an omniscient Yogi who lives an ascetic life on Mount Kailash, as well as a householder with wife Parvati and his two children, Ganesha and Kartikeya. In his fierce aspects, he is often depicted slaying demons. Shiva is also known as Adiyogi Shiva, regarded as the patron god of yoga, meditation and arts. The iconographical attributes of Shiva are the serpent around his neck, the adorning crescent moon, the holy river Ganga flowing from his matted hair, the third eye on his forehead, the trishula as his weapon and the damaru. He is usually worshipped in the aniconic form of Lingam. Shiva is a pan-Hindu deity, revered widely by Hindus, in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Viktor Schauberger - Living Water, 1982. Our Earth is the planet of water. Seventy percent of the world’s surface is covered by water. Our bodies are about two-thirds water. It is essential to all life. Yet, our present science understands little of its real nature.  The naturalist Viktor Schauberger called it a living organism, insisting that in its various forms, as blood, sap or biological water, it is the basis of all life. As a young man, Schauberger had a remarkable experience while sitting by a rushing stream in his pristine Alpine refuge. Listening to its vivacious music, he intuited how water needs to move and behave in order to stay healthy. Still water is passive; it is amorphous and apparently lifeless. As soon as it begins to move, it is filled with surfaces that define little structures, convoluted in form, and with dancing vortical shapes. The nature of water is to move. When it is active it comes alive; in movement it fulfills its potential, which is to bring life. In classical times water was stored in egg-shaped amphorae, because the egg shape stimulates fluids to move and circulate, which is why Nature uses it in emerging life forms. A number of researchers claim that water has a memory; when we think we have ‘purified’ water of the chemicals and hormones we have mindlessly thrown in, in order to make it ‘safe’ to drink, the energy of these contaminants remain, polluting our energy bodies in the same way that chemicals affect our physical bodies. Because of its nature, water sacrifices itself entirely to the environment, for good or for ill. In order to maintain its quality, water needs to behave like it does in a natural stream, dancing and cavorting in spirals and vortices, constantly moving sinuously in capillaries or circulating within its storage chambers. The vortex introduces more complex molecular structures that can carry higher etheric energy which will drive the pathogenic or harmful organisms to the water’s edge where they are immobilised by the aggressive oxygen to be recycled later. People mocked Viktor when he insisted that water behaves like a living organism. When it has reached maturity water displays amazing properties. He showed how, when it is vibrant and healthy, it pulsates, twists and spirals in a very specific way that maintains its vitality and purity, enabling it to fulfill its function as an energy channel and a conveyor of nutrients and waste for all organisms. If you watch water streaming down an inclined road after a shower of rain, or a rivulet on the sloping beach running into the sea, we will notice how it pushes down in a jerky rhythm, as pulsations. That is because water is alive – it actually does pulsate, just as blood pulsates through the veins and arteries of the body.

3, 6, 9 - The Key to the Universe. Nikola Tesla is often called one of the history’s most important inventors, one whose discoveries in the field of electricity were way ahead of his time and continue to influence technology today. Nikola Tesla was born in 1856 in a town called Smiljan, today Croatia. Despite his accomplishments, however, Tesla died pennilessly and without the accolades that would he would ultimately earn over a century later. His obsession with numbers 3, 6 and 9 is well known. But why these numbers? These numbers present a mystery, of an unexplained pattern in the Universe. It is alleged the great Nikola Tesla did everything in threes. Nikola Tesla had calculated nodal points around the planet, and they were linked to the numbers three, six and nine. He understood a fundamental fact, unknown to many, which is the universal language of mathematics; a science discovered by man, not invented by him.  One really important system that nature seems to obey is “The Powers of 2 Binary System” in which the pattern start from one and continues by doubling the numbers. Cells and embryos develop following this sacred pattern: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256…Some call these patterns The Blueprint of God. Math, by this analogy, would be God’s Thumbprint. In vortex math (the science of torus anatomy) there is a pattern that repeats itself: 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, and 5, and so on 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5, 1, 2, 4… Here, numbers 3,6 and 9 do not exist and, this is due to the fact that these numbers represent a vector from the third to the fourth dimension, which is called the “flow field”. This field is a higher dimensional energy, which has an influence on the energy circuit of the other six numbers. This is the secret key to free energy, which Tesla investigated until the last days of his life.  There is something strange once you start doubling them. 3 doubled is 6; 6 doubled is 12 which would result in 3; in this pattern there is no mention of 9. It’s like 9 is beyond, completely free from both patterns. But if you start doubling 9 it will always result in 9: 18, 36, 72, 144, 288, 576… Let’s say there are 2 opposites, call them light and dark if you want to. Euler’s Identity: eiπ + 1 = 0. Euler’s Identity is an Equation about constants π and e. Both are “Transcendental” quanti­ties; in decimal form, their digits unspool into Infinity. And both are ubiquitous in scientific laws. But they seem to come from different realms: π (3.14159 …) governs the perfect Symmetry and closure of the Circle; it’s in Planetary Orbits, the endless up and down of light waves. e (2.71828 …) is the foundation of exponential growth, that accelerating trajectory of escape inherent to compound interest, nuclear fission, Moore’s law. It’s used to model everything that grows. What Euler showed is that π and e are deeply related, connected in a dimension perpendicular to the world of real things - a place measured in units of i, the square root of -1, which of course doesn’t … exist. Mathematicians call it an imaginary number. These diagrams are visual metaphors. Imagine a graph with real numbers on the horizontal axis and imaginary ones on the vertical. You wanna know what happens once you kill yourself? Your mother comes home from work and finds her baby dead and she screams and runs over to you and tries to get you to wake up but you won’t and she keeps screaming and shaking you and her tears are dripping onto your face and your dad hears all the screaming and runs into the room and he can’t even speak because the child that he loved and the child that he watched grow up is gone forever and finally your little sister runs into the room to see what all the fuss is about and she sees you dead. The person she looked up to and loved. The person she bragged about to  her friends, the person she wanted to be just like when she grew up, the person that made her feel safe. But she’s never really going to get to grow up and smile and laugh and love because she’ll always be consumed with this feeling of missing you. And now there’s something missing from your family and they can barely look at each other anymore because everything reminds them of you but you’re gone and hurts more than anything. and you think that your mom never cared because she was always busy and yelling at you to finish your homework and clean your room and forgot to say I love you sometimes but really, she loved you more than anything and she doesn’t leave the house anymore, she can’t even get out of bed and she’s getting thinner and thinner because it’s too hard to eat. Your father had to quit his job and he doesn’t sleep anymore, every time he closes his eyes he sees his baby dead, and the image never goes away no matter how much alcohol he drinks. And at school your best friend sees that your seat is empty and she gets this sick feeling in her stomach and that’s when she hears the announcement. You killed yourself. And suddenly she’s screaming and crying in the middle of class and no one even bothers comforting because they’re all  busy sitting there staring at your empty seat with tears dripping down their cheeks and all she wants is for you to hug her and tell her it’s gonna be okay like you always did, but this time, you’re not there to do it, everything is dark now that you’re gone and her grades are slipping, she barely goes to school anymore and she ended up in hospital after taking too many pills because she wanted to see you again. the girls who used to make fun of the way you dressed feel their throats get tight, they don’t talk to each other anymore, they don’t talk to anyone, they’re all in therapy trying so hard not to blame themselves but nothing works. and your teacher who always gave you a hard time stares blankly at the wall, she quits her job a few days later. And then your boyfriend hears the news and he can’t breathe, he still calls you a lot just to hear your voice and he talks to you on facebook but you never message him back, he can’t fall in love again because every girl he meets reminds him of you, he’s never going to get over you, he loved you and he cries himself to sleep every night, hating himself and slicing his skin because he couldn’t save you and he’s never going to hold you in his arms or hear you laugh again. Now everyone who knew you, whether they were a big part of your life or someone you passed in the hallway a few times a week, they carry this aching feeling around inside them because you’re gone, and they miss you, and they don’t know why you left but it must’ve been their fault and they should’ve stopped you and they should’ve told you they loved you more and that feeling is never going to go away. And so you killed yourself

but you killed everyone else around you too.

Relapse It’s funny, isn’t it? They say three weeks to break an addiction But then 498 days later, Such a big number… But then you find yourself on the bathroom floor. Then you find blood dripping down your wrist And the familiar feeling Of the cold metal against your fingertips. Again. You find yourself grabbing dull objects Pretending they are sharp. Seeing just how much damage you can cause. But that’s the problem. You’ve stopped caring, You’re testing yourself now. Can you get worse than last time? Is this going to be the time it ends you? Your counter is down to zero anyways, Not that number you were proud of. Again. You’re only hurting yourself, right? Nobody is going to find out this time, right? No they won’t find out. Again. But what about when they do? What’s your excuse going to be this time? And what do you do when they say ‘It’s okay It was just the one time right? Everyone relapses, right?’ But you didn’t just slip up. You fell 50 feet down the hole. Again. You started again And then you didn’t want to stop. It’s only been a few hours now And you look in the mirror. You crave it again. There’s no harm now, right? What’s the difference Just a few more now Right? Maybe just a little deeper this time. You lift your sleeve Only for a moment To wash off dried blood. You wouldn’t want to mix old and new. And it hits you. How did you get here? Again.

My therapist told me something meaningful yesterday, she said “It’s important to remember that when you’re depressed you have to nurse yourself and be extra gentile towards yourself. Just like an athlete wouldn’t break an ankle then force themselves to run that ankle. They rest as it heals and do not think “I am a failed athelete” they think, “right now something isn’t working so i’ll take care of myself until it does.“ 

Just like a broken bone, depression can change the way your daily life plays out, and pushing yourself too hard and getting frustrated when you don’t feel better is just like trying to run on that broken ankle and getting frustrated when it doesn’t heal.

a real ass guide to life

there’s a lot of shit on here about lighting candles and waking up early to see the sunset and if we are being hella honest, no one actually does that. u probably don’t own candles or if u do there in a closet and the only time you wake up early all year round is never. so here’s a guide to actual human beings.

-wake up when you need to. don’t wake up at 5 to “journal” and “meditate.” sleep is more important. if you have a class at 9, wake up at 8. it’s simple. - eat something. it doesn’t have to be avocado toast. just have a bagel or a bowl of cocoa puffs. - have ur meds if u take any - attempt to look nice. at least brush your hair and your teeth. but honestly no one cares how u dress. if you wanna dress like a stripper, then dress like a goddamn stripper. honestly no one cares. (but if ur in hs try to follow the dress code a little bit?) - wear makeup if u want, or if you don’t then don’t. - ur probably not gonna exercise or stretch. who cares. i dont. your friends don’t. if ur feeling up to it then go jog 4 miles, but if ur not then don’t. - actually try to have a plan of what ur doing for that day. attend ur classes, and do ur work. ur education is hella important. FUCKING DO IT. kill those grades, murder everyone else in that class, impress and surprise ur teacher, parents, and everyone else who thought u couldn’t do it - attempt to be social. make plans with friends and try to go. it can be lowkey and only like an hr. eat pizza or go to a bar. just have fun. - eat healthy. eat a hamburger when u really want a hamburger and eat a large pizza when u really want a large pizza but try ur hardest to eat healthyish. - watch ya shows. who doesn’t love some amazing netflix binges? watch it. do it. - actually read. books are honestly the best. at least try to pick up the first harry potter. - go to sleep before 2AM!!!!!!¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ sleep is hella important. - shower. you don’t need to buy expensive bath bombs or candles and have a fancy bath and coat ur skin in so much lotion that you are a walking wet rag, but try to smell somewhat pleasant. - do what u want. just make sure it’s legal. have sex, travel, learn how to code, be with ur family, have a family, marry someone nice, build an empire, be fierce, be strong, but most of all: be happy. you live once on this planet. live it to the fullest. and don’t let ANYONE bring you down. not a girl, not a guy, not a parent, or a so called friend. keep your standards high, and heels higher.

If one day you wake up and I’m gone- don’t cry, don’t grieve and don’t write paragraphs about how much you loved me, because when I was alone in my darkest hours, you weren’t the one that would stay up all night to make sure I was alright. Don’t say I was a wonderful girl and wonder how people could be so cruel. Because in some ways- you were the reason, I could have took my own life that night.
