Being Future Hokage lets you know a lot of Future Knowledge. 

I like to headcanon that Kakashi has very nice handwriting, like borderline font looking. So poor Iruka was confused as heck when he sees Kakashi give someone a report in pretty handwriting when every time he hands in a report to Iruka it was always in varying degress of atrocious to outright illegible (maybe even the little dog-ears at the corner whenever Kakashi feels like playing even more with the fire hazard that is Iruka's temper)

Exactly my train of thought. Kakashi' see's a man willing to face down Jonin and yell at them and thinks 'how can I piss this one off?'

Iruka thinks that Kakashi needs lessons in writing. Clearly he kissed out on those when he was busy being a five year old Genin

But in reality Kakashi's just a giant troll that likes to mess with his friends as much as possible, and Iruka has the absolute honour of being one of those friends XD

De-aged Kakashi (I went to answer the ask and accidentally deleted it 😭😭😭)

Looking at the three familiar faces, Kakashi huffs as he sits there, allowing them to stare and mutter between each other.

“What do we do?” Naruto asks, clearly concerned about what had happened. “Is there a way to get him back?”

“Do we even want him back to his original age?” Sakura smiled softly “he’s cute like this.”

She was going to be doing so many laps when he was bad to normal.

“Surely there has to be some way to fix this,” Sai spoke up, his eyes glued on the sketchbook he had pulled out as soon as they found Kakashi. No doubt drawing a picture to Cement this moment into memory. “If he was made a child, there must be a way to fix it.”

The three of them continued to talk, acting like Kakashi wasn’t sitting there in front of him annoyed and confused about what was going on.

He wanted to be an adult again. To run around with his husband, teach his students. Anything was better than sitting here stuck in the body of a child.

“We’ll, there is one good thing,” Naruto beamed. “He’s academy age so we’re in charge.”

“Wrong,” pointing up to his headband, Kakashi huffed. “I’m a chunin. I’m still your boss, brat.”

“A chunin!?” Sakura and Naruto’s jaws dropped “You’re six!”

“Well, not all of us are talentless,” he shrugged his shoulders, narrowly dodging Sakura’s punch when she lashed out at him. “Be nice.”

“You first, Sensei!”

Look, I liked the Lost Tower, but if you ask me there should have scenes where these two interacted. Like, what was the point of including little Kakashi if he only appears for two minutes in the entire movie? And if the writers were just gonna erase everyone's memories at the end, I say they should have gone for broke on the canon-breaking interactions.

Anyway, there's no way pre-Sharingan Kakashi and Naruto would get along, and I think that's great XD

And Sasuke thought that Itachi was the youngest shinobi ever (..if you exclude the root agents) so he looks down at baby jounin Kakashi and he's just flabbergasted XD like that one meme of the woman thinking surrounded by calculations lol

lol how about- Kakashi accidently goes into the waterfalls of truth, but instead the 'true self' that he finds is his child self crying out and pleading for his family and team to come back to him and constantly giving out apologies to thing's that aren't his fault

That would be his true self though, I think.

The kid who wanted so desperately to reach out and cling to the people he cared about, but always held his hand back.

Who wishes that he could have done something, anything, to keep his preciouse people. To not have to visit graves instead of looking at smiling faces

Kakashi was the kid who shoved everything down. Who pushed forward and acted the good, strong shinobi because that's what Konoha told him to do. That's what everyone said he had to do in order to be worthy or to heal.

The answer to his hurt was always 'di better, be stronger.' not just from Kakashi, but from those around him.

To ignore his pain and preserver.

Si that's what he did

And I think if Kakashi had ever had to face that. To look himself in the eye and recognize just how broken he is.

It would shatter him.

*at young Kakashi’s house for dinner*

Rin: Your food is amazing, Kakashi kun! Are you going to be a chef when you grow up?

Kakashi: Thanks, but I don’t think that —

Obito: *stuffing his face* It’s not all that great. I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but …

Kakashi: How many plates have you had again?

Obito, scowling: That doesn’t mean anything; I’m just really hungry today.

Kakashi: You’re always really hungry. You’re lucky you have such a good figure.

Obito: *stands and flexes “muscles”*

Obito: Thanks, Bakashi. I try to stay in shape.

Kakashi, blushing: Well … well why don’t you use those muscles and help me bring in dessert? I made your favorite; chocolate mousse.

Obito, also blushing: You made my favorite dessert? That’s … really nice of you. Okay, let’s go get it.

Hotaru teaches Kakashi Everything about the clan all the techniques and all that and also about the Uchiha Hatake long friendship and she confused cause he should of met his Uchiha along time ago??

And maybe Obito lives and the village sees just how terrifying the Uchiha/Hatake friendship Truly is.

If Obito had lived and him and Kakashi had actually been able to form a functioning healthy friendship (not the 'friendship' they had in cannon where Kakashi is always painted as the bad guy even though Obito treats him like shit even as kids) it would have been disaster for Konoha. I don't think they would have survived

Also, Kakashi deserves to be given scrolls about his clans history. He deserves to learn about his clan. Everything that there was to know, he deserves to find.

like, his body was probably burned or something because he was a shinobi, but with kishimoto's writing, he could've said that his body was just tossed aside and discarded since no one liked him and kabuto picked him up or something???

and IMAGINE him being so upset when he sees kakashi and is like 'youre already dead AGAIN????' because he doesn't realize he's been brought back to the land of the living.

Sakumo was buried in the Konoha cemetery, we see his tomb stone and in Kakashi hidan it's stated that Kakashi had to bury his father alone, with only Minati's help. So his body was there

I headcannon that Kabuto did want to, and perhaps even had the DNA to do it with, but as much as he wanted to hate Kakashi' Obito could never do that to him.

But the angst potential would have been delicious and i'm kinda mad I only have one fic with reanimated Sakumo

Team 7 time travelling to Kakashi's past feels so funny in concept because this guy probably talks so little about himself and when he does he undermines the events of what happened to an extremely degree so it can seem like he wasnt that bothered by it, So once Team 7 finally meets little Kakashi their just hit with one thought like- "bitch you've lived this way???"

Sakura actually asks Kakashi' where his parents are because she refuses to believe that they raised her Sensei to be a little shit, and oh boy do things get awkward fast. Naruto and Sasuke have no idea how to respond when this little kid shifts suddenly from 'determined rude little shit' to 'sad, broken kid'. They both know the look all too well, and Sakura is probably never going to recover from the absolute horror of learning about what happened.

At the same time, They fully expect to see Kakashi living in a really messy house because he's six and has been alone for a year. But when they finally manage to convince him to let them come over to his place, they find a spotless house that looks like it's actually very well taken care of. It's after dinner when Kakashi says he has chores to do that they realize one of their sensei's coping mechanisms is cleaning.

That he tries so hard to forget his lonelyness by scrubbing every inch of the house he has used, refusing to let it get dirty or to take a break and wallow in the emptyness of the house

When team seven got there, they thought this was going to be a great chance to learn about their sensei

They just didn't know what to expect while learning about him
