Headcanon about Rin She loves Obito the most (even more so than she loves Kakashi)… but only platonically. Rin & Obito’s best friend status are mutual, and they are protective towards each other. Obito helped Rin a lot in the past, be there for her in her weakest moments, pick her up when she fell, just like she often do the same for Obito.

*Note: the possessive Rin in this comic is purely unintentional LOL. That one is not my headcanon.

Headcanon about Kakashi He has strong supernatural affinity. As far as I know, he is the only character in Naruto who ever talked to the dead without any jutsu involved (like Edo Tensei used by Orochimaru or seal in Naruto’s stomach). It could explain why he had a conversation with Sakumo, and how Obito was able to give him sharingan post-mortem without any eye transplants (seriously, this one plot hole bugs me too much). Kakashi can talk to the dead and he probably doesn’t realize that it occured regularly.

**Note: Yeah, here Obito and Rin often visit Kakashi via his dream. That’s the whole plot of this short comic.

like, his body was probably burned or something because he was a shinobi, but with kishimoto's writing, he could've said that his body was just tossed aside and discarded since no one liked him and kabuto picked him up or something???

and IMAGINE him being so upset when he sees kakashi and is like 'youre already dead AGAIN????' because he doesn't realize he's been brought back to the land of the living.

Sakumo was buried in the Konoha cemetery, we see his tomb stone and in Kakashi hidan it's stated that Kakashi had to bury his father alone, with only Minati's help. So his body was there

I headcannon that Kabuto did want to, and perhaps even had the DNA to do it with, but as much as he wanted to hate Kakashi' Obito could never do that to him.

But the angst potential would have been delicious and i'm kinda mad I only have one fic with reanimated Sakumo

There used to be really angsty headcanons that Kakashi wore the mask because he didn’t want to look like his father after that failed mission but then we later see in flashbacks that Kakashi wore a mask before all of that anyways so…¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’ve been having fun (read: screaming in frustration) trying to piece together how the hell they were all the same age during the entrance ceremony AND kakashi gaiden if we canonically see them doing the chunin exam together and kakashi was supposedly 6 when he became chunin while rin&obito were 11. i refuse to believe canon. i’m throwing it out the window and making my own because fuck that

Look, I liked the Lost Tower, but if you ask me there should have scenes where these two interacted. Like, what was the point of including little Kakashi if he only appears for two minutes in the entire movie? And if the writers were just gonna erase everyone's memories at the end, I say they should have gone for broke on the canon-breaking interactions.

Anyway, there's no way pre-Sharingan Kakashi and Naruto would get along, and I think that's great XD
