There used to be really angsty headcanons that Kakashi wore the mask because he didn’t want to look like his father after that failed mission but then we later see in flashbacks that Kakashi wore a mask before all of that anyways so…¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A group of… twelve year olds?
minato, watching kakashi do things any normal child would die doing "hes a ninja kid his chakra bubble will save him"
6 year old kakashi falling off a tree straight into the floor and instantly getting up and pretending that didnt happen
what do you think team 7's reactions would be if they find out about kakashi's promotion ages XD that he became jounin around the age that they became genin
Technically he became a jonin at an age before they became genin XD Kakashi' was promoted age 11, while team seven was made genin age 12.
As for reactions, I think they would be amazed. I mean, everyone in their class is of varying degrees of awesome but here's their sensei. The youngest jonin in Konoha history
They think that's a pretty big deal, and the other kids are definitly going to be hearing about it. I think Sasuke would act the most chill about it, but really he thinks it's pretty awesome to have a Sensei that talented and smart that he was a jonin so young.
lol how about- Kakashi accidently goes into the waterfalls of truth, but instead the 'true self' that he finds is his child self crying out and pleading for his family and team to come back to him and constantly giving out apologies to thing's that aren't his fault
That would be his true self though, I think.
The kid who wanted so desperately to reach out and cling to the people he cared about, but always held his hand back.
Who wishes that he could have done something, anything, to keep his preciouse people. To not have to visit graves instead of looking at smiling faces
Kakashi was the kid who shoved everything down. Who pushed forward and acted the good, strong shinobi because that's what Konoha told him to do. That's what everyone said he had to do in order to be worthy or to heal.
The answer to his hurt was always 'di better, be stronger.' not just from Kakashi, but from those around him.
To ignore his pain and preserver.
Si that's what he did
And I think if Kakashi had ever had to face that. To look himself in the eye and recognize just how broken he is.
It would shatter him.

*at young Kakashi’s house for dinner*
Rin: Your food is amazing, Kakashi kun! Are you going to be a chef when you grow up?
Kakashi: Thanks, but I don’t think that —
Obito: *stuffing his face* It’s not all that great. I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but …
Kakashi: How many plates have you had again?
Obito, scowling: That doesn’t mean anything; I’m just really hungry today.
Kakashi: You’re always really hungry. You’re lucky you have such a good figure.
Obito: *stands and flexes “muscles”*
Obito: Thanks, Bakashi. I try to stay in shape.
Kakashi, blushing: Well … well why don’t you use those muscles and help me bring in dessert? I made your favorite; chocolate mousse.
Obito, also blushing: You made my favorite dessert? That’s … really nice of you. Okay, let’s go get it.
*they go to kitchen*
Rin:
Rin: Okay if those two don’t confess to each other soon, I’m doing it for them.
clothes switch.

And Sasuke thought that Itachi was the youngest shinobi ever (..if you exclude the root agents) so he looks down at baby jounin Kakashi and he's just flabbergasted XD like that one meme of the woman thinking surrounded by calculations lol
Sasuke: Wait, I though My brother was the youngest...
Kakashi: he was not
Sasuke:
