So yesterday me and my sister were talking and we ended up on the topic of thinspo because we were looking up studyspo and things like that for bullet journaling and she freaked out and though someone’s username said thinspo and she looked concerned and said she feels bad for those people who have accounts like that and that she’s worried about that because of how unhealthy it is and she thinks it’s so fucked up and I just kinda say there mute and not sure of what to say I think she notice because she kinda just pat my shoulder kinda like “it’s okay if you have/used to have that” I think that’s what she meant but Idk I’m continuously posting and reblogging this crap and I don’t want to get better I’ve been dedicated for about 2 and half weeks now (my ed has been up and down and obviously it’s really fucking down) but I want to be unhealthy thin I know it’s bad I know I’ll be basically killing myself but who cares I want to be thin I want it more than anything
I’ve got a horrid sweet tooth, but here’s a dessert recipe lower in calories than a lot of “skinny” barely sweet apple and cinnamon recipes. I will include the brownie mix and recipe both just in case u’re looking for either + compare it to other low cal alternatives!
Brownie Mix (can use right away in a 13x9 pan or store away in a ziploc bag):
½ cup Truvia baking blend (190 cals)
½ cup flour (200 cals, depending on mix)
½ cup cocoa powder (98 cals)
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking powder
Total mix calories: 488 cals
Calories for 1/20 of the mix (how most generic brands calculate calories): 24.4 cals
How does it compare?
Entire Mix:
mix above: 488 cals
sugar free boxed mix: 1080 cals
regular boxed mix: 2000 cals
Calories for 1/20 of the mix (generic brands calculate calories):
mix above: 24.4 cals
sugar free boxed mix: 54 cals
regular boxed mix: 100 cals
How to bake for even more calorie saving:
use ¼ cup of non-fat plain Greek yogurt (if a recipe calls for ½ cup oil, substitute with half cup Greek yogurt)
use 1-2 egg whites (more egg = more cakey)
OR
use ¼ cup of non-fat plain Greek yogurt for each egg
OR
¼ cup skim milk for each egg
Bake in a greased 13x9 pan (use the spray!) or glass pan at 350 degrees for 20-30 min (if you like yours gooey don’t keep it in for the whole 30 min)
How does it compare?
Entire baked pan:
mix above with low cal substitutions: 537-550 cals
sugar free mix following box directions: 1680 cals
regular mix following box directions: 3200 cals
Calories for 1/20th of the pan (generic serving sized most commonly used):
mix above with low cal substitutions: 26.85-27.5 cals
sugar free mix following box directions: 84 cals
regular mix following box directions: 160 cals
I hope you guys enjoy! ( you can eat half a pan and still be under 300 cals!)
(side note: there’s a post going around that says if you substitute all added ingredients in a boxed brownie mix with Greek yogurt the entire pan would be equal to 210 calories but it’s very false!!!!! A regular generic pan would still exceed 2000 cals even when Greek yogurt is used).
you know you’re fucked when you count eating normally as binging
“She came back from summer looking gaunt and sick, clearly not well, but oh god her body dropped jaws”.
ok universe, i’m ready to feel good things. make me feel good things.
“It’s just 100 calories, it shouldn’t hurt too much”. Yes it’s only 100 calories but that’s 100 calories you could be burning instead of eating. That’s 100 extra calories away from your goal. That’s a whole 100 calories you need to burn off. So instead of thinking “it’s only 100 calories” think “by not eating this I will be 100 calories closer to where I want to be".
I wanna be really thin but I’m afraid of losing my hair ?
Thought I’d share another safe food/recipe🌟 I loooove ramen and noodles but they have a shitload of calories so I buy shirataki noodles! I use tofu shirataki noodles but you can buy the real yam ones which have less calories I believe. My brand has 30 calories per package which is one meal for me. I start by rinsing them, then I boil them for a couple minutes to get the salty/fishy smell out, then I fry them in a pan to get out the extra water and make them less rubbery. You’ll know they’re done when the make a squeaking sound when you rub them against the pan. I like to make spicy noodles by adding 1 tbsp of light soy sauce(10) and 1 tsp of siracha(5) sauce for a total of 45 calories! These are a bit rubbery but seriously so so great💕 Many people make them with spaghetti sauce. These are so diverse and wonderful 11/10 recommend✨
