Thinking about this parallel because I recently rewatched X-Men Origins: Wolverine and I couldn't help but think about the scene from Black Widow.

I know the movies have nothing to do with each other - just thought it was an interesting detail, although possibly not intentional.

i also finished ch139 and i have no words. my mind is trying to comprehend everything, it doesn't make sense. the only thing i felt satisfied about was levi's arc. him fulfilling his promise to his old comrades— shinzou wo sasageyo (i cry aah)

seeing people's reaction to the new yelena clip makes me realize again how badly the mcu fucked up natsha's fighting style.

like, all black widows are literally suppossed to be olympic level gymnasts, acrobats and aerialists.

that's kinda their thing...

but the mcu decided to make natasha wrap her thighs around a man's head 24/7 instead of making her fighting style what it's suppossed to be: acrobatic, artistic and even kind of ballet inspired.

"B-b-but it's not realistic!!😖🥺😢 She has the super soldier serum!!" It's the mcu! there literally was a purple man, who wiped out 50% of the universe using pretty stones.

I think you guys can survive when a woman (who's been trained in acrobatics & gymnastics since she was a little girl) uses highly acrobatic/gymnastic skills in her fighting style. And it's still not confirmed whether or not the Widows have some sort of serum but it's realistic (at least for me) that after decades of training one can pull off such skills without a serum.
