Since it was Marie day recently, I saw a lot of art of her on my dash and it inspired me :3
I ended up drawing her twice bc I wasn't satisfied with my first attempt.

So I KNEW I had to do this idea aswell because I loved how they gave the cousins different hairstyles in Summer Nights AND I saw a Squid sisters cover of Thriller and in the thumbnail the outfits looked SO CUTE that I had to make new designs for them IM SO PROUD OF THISSSS

-due to calamar and marie being charger users with missing siblings (anemone is cal's older sister who left the promokids to destroy grizzco from the inside), they're buddies
-even if calamar does not know anything about the squid sisters, never listened to any of their songs
-deep cut tho? cal is their strongest solider, he listened to their entire discography daily and can play it front and back
-marie is calamar's mentor throughout the events of ROTM, yes she has made a drill where cal must recreate that part at the end of splatoon 2 where marie shot the hypnoshades off of callie, calamar thought it was a prank at first but marie was dead serious
-calamar has tried to prank marie, but she no sells these pranks
π§Ώ thank you Splatoon! I attended the grandfest (but I sadly missed the after-party (οΌβ²β`)...) I followed Splatoon since it was first released back in 2017! I remember being 15 and being heartbroken that I might never get to play a game series that was almost tailor-made to my interest ( I used to live in the Middle East, where the chances of me playing a Nintendo console were close to zero)
β¨ I finally managed to get a switch and a game last year! it has been a blast, everyone! may Splatoon continue to be a source of fun and wonderful creativity!
