Davekat week 2023 Day 4: free day!!
yes I know the lightings bad and yes I know Karkat doesn’t have an eye, just imagine his head is tilted
basically I drew them as humanstuck? Reversed species? I’ve only been in this fandom for four weeks :’)
fun fact: Dave is a Sagittarius!
(also I drew Karkat with my Troll ocs hair- dang why did I just realise this)
So gogh hooked me, i literally have no idea what it's for i just saw that u can make a character and there room to let them chill and i was hooked up
I wasn't planning one making karkat but when i saw that there's sharp teeth i couldn't help it and decided to make human karkat, also when i saw that i can put photos from my gallery i didn't waste time
Yes i want any reason to make something about davekat so i used art i've download throughout time and i wanted to share what i did but i didn't want to do that without tagging the artist and i took extra time looking for the actual art so i can reblog it for anyone who what the actual art

The door slowly opens, and a cloud of smoke pours out. Tavros emerges from within, his face is the only thing visible under a Mexican tiger blanket. His gaze is distant, even though they're standing almost in front of each other, and he has a dopey smile on his face.
Meenah: Uhh... everyone's downstairs. Do you wanna come for a drink?
Tavros: Nahhh... I'm writing... I'm having breakthroughs...
The door slowly, and gently closes. Tavros' hand wasn't near the door.

"You all think I'm fine with this... being alone... being used..." Tavros lifted his bandaged arm, wiping the blood from underneath his nose.
"You're all so sure that I'll be fine because I haven't reacted in any other way... But you're wrong." The young Chicano thumbed the hammer back on the pistol in his hand. "Nearly five fucking years of the same thing. It's insanity, really..."
He leaned back, and took a look at the classroom he was in, glaring at everyone.
"You made me detest my own existence and jaded my view on everything. But really, it's my own fault for letting it happen." He stood up, his angry expression shifting into a cocky look.
"And... I thought about it allot, hating myself... well I like myself now." The hammer clicked back into place and Tavros placed it inside his backpack before leaving the classroom.

tried making my own troll alpha kids omggg. I don't really like how rose came out, i love jade and john though,,
photos naipunya took of some of her friends.
i hope they feel somewhat like actual pictures a little high schooler would take, because i drew them into photos i took when i was a little high schooler myself.
i’d like to make more of these; they’re fun, and they’re good practice.
i think this is the first time one of the original humans showed up in a canon post? they are present in this world, they just go to a different school. i do need to draw them more.

victoire’s big fluffy dress was a nuisance. i had to move everyone over just so that she could fit.
sorry that their clothes aren’t 100% accurate. i think it’s more important to get the vibes and the colors down for the characters.
