It’s Easy For Someone To Joke About Scars If They’ve Never Been Cut.

It’s easy for someone to joke about scars if they’ve never been cut.

William Shakespeare, Romeo & Juliet: Act 2, Scene 2. (via self-hatred)

It is so sick to make fun of those acts of depression..

This is how I’d fallen out of love of him: I didn’t. It just that one day I woke up, and I just.. I just didn’t feel anything for him. Not love, not like, not hate, nor anger, not even sadness or disappointment, just.. nothing. Like my heart entered a sudden oblivion, and it just forgot. It forgot to remember to care for him or to think of him, and in a blink of an eye, everything about him, every feelings I associated with him is erased, and he didn’t matter anymore. Like he never really mattered at all. And I’m okay with it. I mean, it’s a lot like looking at a blank grey canvas, what do you suppose to feel about it? Nothing, right? Nothing and just okay.

The old gods are not dead

I hear Athenas war cry in the shouts of protests, fighting a war now closer to home, I see her in the young women with picket signs clenched tightly in their fists

Hera curses the names of the abusers The ones who break families and marriages Her voice heard in the wedding bells of young lovers

Poseidon now resides in a beach home Going out every night to pick of trash left by the day Shooting daggers at the drunk men letting their bottles be swept away

Demeter can be heard cursing the politicians refusing to believe in global warming Names of scientists and studies on the tip of her tongue She is found teaching young children how to grow their food at the community garden

Ares is found on the front lines of a different war, not fighting but protecting the innocent Guiding classrooms of children away from gunfire, His shield protecting the terrified

Apollo can be found at opens mics Reciting his latest works Or walking down the street in docs on his feet and a guitar on his back He knows he’s the coolest

Artemis is seen on the streets Her bow and arrow have long left her Carrying nothing more than a knife and mace She hunts a different kind of monster now

Hephaestus resides in a workshop at all hours of the night Creating custom pieces for the right price and a warm smile The hammer making him feel invincible

Aphrodite’s song is heard in the breathy kisses of teenagers Shes found walking down the street, lips a blood red Punching the men who dare disrespect her

Hermes is seen with a smirk as he walks long well-traveled roads Delivering the messages of those needing to be heard Traveling, telling stories, and wearing out another pair of shoes

Dionysus’s voice heard only over the pounding bass in the bar Keeping watch over young girls drinks Dancing, partying and living as he throws another one back

Hades is seen weeping over the graves of those taken much to soon Looking to his wife for comfort He’s long lost his faith in humanity

Persephone found in the gardens beside her mother in the spring Brushing off girl’s dirty knees and putting flower crowns on their heads She can be seen holding onto hades as he mourns the loss of life

Hecate will be found running metaphysical shops Bringing hope to powerful women wanting more Selling potions, nobody thinks will work And collecting graveyard dirt for a new spell

Zeus is watching over everyone Watches Athena cry Hera curse the men, he being one of them Poseidon’s glares Demeter’s harsh words Ares raising his shield Apollos singing Artemis as she tracks a new beast Watches Hephaestus work Sees Aphrodite punch Hears Hermes words Sees hades weep And Persephone plant and comfort her partner And grins as Hecate keeps magic alive

The old gods are not dead

They are alive

And they are watching

“If There Is Energy Within The Substance It Can Only Come From Without. This Truth Was So Manifest

“If there is energy within the substance it can only come from without. This truth was so manifest to me that I expressed it in the following axiom: ‘There is no energy in matter except that absorbed from the medium…’ If all energy is supplied to matter from without then this all important function must be performed by the medium.”

“When radio-active rays were discovered their investigators believed them to be due to liberation of atomic energy in the form of waves. This being impossible in the light of the preceding I concluded that they were produced by some external disturbance and composed of electrified particles. My theory was not seriously taken although it appeared simple and plausible. Suppose that bullets are fired against a wall. Where a missile strikes the material is crushed and spatters in all directions radial from the place of impact. In this example it is perfectly clear that the energy of the flying pieces can only be derived from that of the bullets. But in manifestation of radio-activity no such proof could be advanced and it was, therefore, of the first importance to demonstrate experimentally the existence of this miraculous disturbance in the medium. I was rewarded in these efforts with quick success largely because of the efficient method I adopted which consisted in deriving from a great mass of air, ionized by the disturbance, a current, storing its energy in a condenser and discharging the same through an indicating device. This plan did away with the limitations and incertitude of the electroscope first employed and was described by me in articles and patents from 1900 to 1905. It was logical to expect, judging from the behavior of known radiations, that the chief source of the new rays would be the sun, but this supposition was contradicted by observations and theoretical considerations which disclosed some surprising facts in this connection.

“Light and heat rays are absorbed in their passage through a medium in a certain proportion to its density. The ether, although the most tenuous of all substances, is no exception to this rule.  Its density has been first estimated by Lord Kelvin and conformably to his finding a column of one square centimeter cross section and of a length such that light, traveling at a rate of three hundred thousands kilometers per second, would require one year to traverse it, should weigh 4.8 grams. This is just about the weight of a prism of ordinary glass of the same cross section and two centimeters length which, therefore, may be assumed as the equivalent of the ether column in absorption. A column of the ether one thousand times longer would thus absorb as much light as twenty meters of glass.  However, there are suns at distances of many thousands of light years and it is evident that virtually no light from them can reach the earth. But if these suns emit rays immensely more penetrative than those of light they will be slightly dimmed and so the aggregate amount of radiations pouring upon the earth from all sides will be overwhelmingly greater than that supplied to it by our luminary. If light and heat rays would be as penetrative as the cosmic, so fierce would be the perpetual glare and so scorching the heat that life on this and other planets could not exist.

“Rays in every respect similar to the cosmic are produced by my vacuum tubes when operated at pressures of ten millions of volts or more, but even if it were not confirmed by experiment, the theory I advanced in 1897 would afford the simplest and most probable explanation of the phenomena. Is not the universe with its infinite and impenetrable boundary a perfect vacuum tube of dimensions and power inconceivable? Are not its fiery suns electrodes at temperatures far beyond any we can apply in the puny and crude contrivances of our making? Is it not a fact that the suns and stars are under immense electrical pressures transcending any that man can ever produce and is this not equally true of the vacuum in celestial space? Finally, can there be any doubt that cosmic dust and meteoric matter present an infinitude of targets acting as reflectors and transformers of energy? If under ideal working conditions, and with apparatus on a scale beyond the grasp of the human mind, rays of surpassing intensity and penetrative power would not be generated, then, indeed, nature has made an unique exception to its laws.

“It has been suggested that the cosmic rays are electrons or that they are the result of creation of new matter in the interstellar deserts. These views are too fantastic to be even for a moment seriously considered. They are natural outcroppings of this age of deep but unrational thinking, of impossible theories, the latest of which might, perhaps, deal with the curvature of time. What this world of ours would be if time were curved…“

–Nikola Tesla

These are Goetic sigils.  Not to be used lightly. They are used often for demon summoning within Goetic belief systems.  They are also used on amulets to “empower” the wearer with the powers and/or protection of said demon.

It is NOT something I practice.  I have read multiple books on the subject, but it is not a part of my belief system.  I am posting this for reference purposes only.

My Translation of Nikola Tesla’s Poem

By J. J. Jones

My Translation Of Nikola Tesla’s Poem

“Fragments of Olympian Gossip.” By Nikola Tesla

While listening on my cosmic phone (Nikola Tesla listening to his receiving device in his laboratory)

I caught words from the Olympus blown. (He’s eavesdropping on heaven, or Olympus, where the Gods of science live)

A newcomer was shown around; (A well-known scientist must have passed away on earth and is being shown around heaven)

That much I could guess, aided by sound. (From what Tesla could hear through his device)

“There’s Archimedes with his lever.” (The mysterious chaperone points out Archimedes)

“Still busy on problems as ever.” (Who even in the afterlife is still working on his mathematical problems)

“Says: matter and force are transmutable.” (Archimedes thought matter and force can be changed from one nature to another)

“And wrong the laws you thought immutable.” (The newcomer must have thought force and matter were unalterable)

“Below, on Earth, they work at full blast.” (Earth is busy as always)

“And news are coming in thick and fast.” (News from earth to heaven)

“The latest tells of a cosmic gun.” (Around the time this poem was conducted Guglielmo Marconi was frightening the public with a “ray-gun” for war)

“To be pelted is very poor fun.” (violence is immoral)

“We are wary with so much at stake,” (Heaven is wary of mankind)

“Those beggars are a pest—no mistake.” (The attention seekers of science are becoming nuisances)

“Too bad, Sir Isaac, they dimmed your renown.” (The newcomer finally speaks to his chaperone, who we now learn is Isaac Newton)

“And turned your great science upside down.” (Modern science is ruining Newtonian physics)

“Now a long haired crank, Einstein by name,” (Albert Einstein)

“Puts on your high teaching all the blame.” (Einstein’s theories oppose Newtonian physics)

“Says: matter and force are transmutable.” (Einstein, like Archimedes, thought force and matter is interchangeable. Issac Newton believed matter and force are unalterable)

“And wrong the laws you thought immutable.” (Einstein’s physics suggest that Newtonian physics are false)

“I am much too ignorant, my son,” (Issac Newton speaking again)

“For grasping schemes so finely spun.” (Referring to Einstein’s metaphysics)

“My followers are of stronger mind” (Those scientists who still follow Newtonian physics and cause and effect)

“And I am content to stay behind,” (He’ll stick with his own theories and let science go in err)

“Perhaps I failed, but I did my best,”

“These masters of mine may do the rest.” (Nikola Tesla)

“Come, Kelvin, I have finished my cup.” (We now learn that the newcomer is Lord Kelvin. He was a great scientist and a good friend of Tesla’s who had passed away in 1907.)

“When is your friend Tesla coming up?” (Newton asking Kelvin when Tesla will join them in Olympus)

“Oh, quoth Kelvin, he is always late, (Tesla was never on time)

"It would be useless to remonstrate.” (And it’s pointless to try and change it)

Then silence—shuffle of soft slippered feet—(End of conversation between Kelvin and Newton)

I knock and—the bedlam of the street. (Tesla departs from his dream and his laboratory into the busy streets of New York City)

(Poem written by Nikola Tesla in the 1920s to his friend George Sylvester Viereck.)
