SO, THE VENGANCE SAGA HMMM??? This is @evergreen292 ask they did a while back, I'm sorry I took so freaking long to do this but the coming of the new saga made me think of you and I was like "ALR, TIME TO GET MY SHIT TOGETHER." I did it like aaaaaaa Odysseus mermaid or siren AU, I've seen this before and I think it's interesting for a Poseidon x Odysseus ship!
Im still trying to figure out designs, and Im someone who has to give it a whole lot of thought in God's design, so maybe after this I'll settle in for a Poseidon design.
Also, I based this on a random ahh gay pinterest fanart of a ship I do not at all know LMAO IM SORRY if this isnt at all what you imagined, and IM SORRY if its bad ππ

every outfit worn by the brothers in monsters: the lyle and erik menendez story
kill or be killed (1.04) β lyle's black shooting range t-shirt
Who are these divas? I feel like I'm Lady Danbury matchmaking. CMON, NOW HUG EACHOTHER AND RANT ABOUT EPIC.
During "Full Speed Ahead", Odysseus goes: "Ithaca is waiting. My Kingdoom is waiting. Penelope is waiting for me." Whilst the chorus goes: "Ithaca's waiting. The Kingdoom is waiting. ....waiting." Do you think that little space where they don't repeat Penelope's name, they're saying to themselves their own loved ones names. For example, Eurylochus would go: "Ithaca's waiting. The Kingdoom is waiting. Ctimene is waiting."
And then they never make it home.
HAHA
I saw it once, and I think it's a very cute headcanon: For the 20 years of war and hardship, Odysseus was very boney and scrawny looking. He was just rough around the edges, very thin.
But once he finally got home, got to Ithaca, he was spoiled with its rich and warm culinary, and softened and became a little chubby.
All of it to say I headcanon Penelope liking to cook only for Odysseus and yes I plan on drawing that.
Using this to say I fully support the Menendez Brothers, FREE THEM!!
And if I said the Menendez brothers should be freed? What then? π€¨
When in Polyphemus, what he says to Odysseus REALLY foreshadows what's going to happen with the suitors:
"Time to drink your blood over where you stand" "Your life now is in my hand" "Before I'm done" "You will learn that it's not so fun to take" "You came to my home to steal" "But now you'll become my meal"
Odysseus really had his whole life prophetised for him in big giant gliterry red letters and still said "WHO??"
I find it so funny when the word "same" is used for Eurylochus in Mutiny. "Don't make me fight you brother, you know you'd have done the same." Considering in the Odyssey, Eurylochus was "Eurylochus of Same"
Now, it's funnier when we think of how Eurylochus repeats "I'm just a man" in Mutiny as well, and how Scylla once said "We are the same you and I."
In the end, Odysseus and Eurylochus were the same, who'd do the same things in order to go back to their loved ones, saying the same phrases. If Jorge did it on porpous, I bet it was to say YEAH, EURYLOCHUS INDEED WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME!
Everytime I remember how doomed Hector of Troy is, an angel looses its wings.
Could we maybe see some young odypen courting? If you felt like drawing that. They are my comfort heteros.
I feel like Odysseus would use terrible pickup lines on Penelope (as "advised" by Athena). But then it actually is working?
Odysseus: Do you have a name?
Penelope: We were already introduced. I'm Penelope.
Odysseus: Or can I call you mine.
Penelope: !!!
Odysseus: !!!
both of them are blushing and flustered.
Anyway! That's honestly way too complicated I'm just obsessed with these guys
And then they get married. SORRY I took so long to complete this, school has been beating my ass these days real hard, but I LOVED this ask. Ody canonically gets love advice from his virgin godess mentor.
And yes I'm absolutly going to do a bonus sketch of them marrying and Athena gonig: "HOW DID HE--"
Absolutly crazy and mad theory, that maybe Aelous will save Odysseus from Poseidon in the Vengance Saga? I'm not pulling this theory right out of my left ass cheek, I listened to this snippet of 600 strikes and the beginning of it sounds a LOT like Aeolus' motif.
I hear it but I can't wrap my mind abou why would Aelous suddenly come back???
Commission by the incredible @kazimir29 of Eurylochus and Ctimene, which I requested partly to accompany my short Ctimene fic "Trapped" but mostly because her art is beautiful and Eury's my favorite.
Penelope grieving over Odysseus' hat. (Based off Natale Schiavoni's "L'Afflizione")
Yes, you've heard about Ctimene and Eurylochus, very underrated all along. Yes you've heard of Telemachus & Nausicaa, also pretty underrated STILL. Yes you've heard of Nausithos & Nausinous, love them truly.
BUT!!!!
I am obsessed over Laertes & Anticleia, even though my thoughts are mostly just head canons of them, but since Ctimene & Eurylochus are also just HCs, I'll propoes to you: Odysseus and Ctimene learned from their father.
Laertes was Anticleia's loverboy and I STAND BY THAT!!! Y'all can not tell me Anticleia, daughter of such a famous trickster like Autolycus didn't make the man shit his pants sometimes, but he was mad over her. I imagine her as a very outspoken and extroverted young woman. Whilst maybe Laertes was more intimidated, having always been a less important argonaut, and a less important greek King.
In the Odyssey, after Anticleia dies, he literally goes isolate himself on a little farm, THAT'S LOVERBOY SHIT RIGHT THERE.
To resume it all, for me, they are that one tiktok trend that goes: "Bae, come sit next to me, come and take yo drawers off-- Damn you on the edge of the bed, YOU 'BOUTA FALL OFF!"
I LOVED THIS SO MUCH OMG THANK YOU ^^ GRRRRRR I WANNA EAT YOUR ART STYLE IT'S AMAZING
It's ok Ody loves Ctimene a lot and he held her at least 30 more minutes after that.
And the idea came from posts from @that-greek-mythology-girl and @nikoisme, in love with their Ctimene hc's/art so credit to them π₯Ή
I'm working on the drawings y'all requested me, I swear. It's just when I made the post that I wasn't doing anything SUDDENLY my life is so busy ππ
Very much thinking about older brother odysseus who protects his little sister and makes sure she doesn't get hurt, but in the end he would be the one to hurt her. And she's heartbroken and furious and he can do absolutely nothing about it
If I could put one single swear word in Epic the musical, I'd put it in "Luck Runs Out" when Odysseus goes "How many floating islands, have you seen before?" Because my dude was FED.UP. Eurylochus was questioning if a FLOATING ISLAND was really divine. So, petition for Jorge to let Odysseus frustradedly go: "How many fucking floating islands have you seen before?"
Hera Concept Design
Okay, but everyone agrees the Ithaca royal family colour is blue, right? (Dark Blue, baby blue, light blue, dirty blue, ANY BLUE.) And it's mostly because (Epic!Athena) wears a blue cape. My thoughts would be: Dark blue for Penelope That Light blue for Telemachus A blue green-ish dirty sea colour for Odysseus (very specific, I know) Teal for Ctimene A brown-ish blue, like petrol blue for Laertes VERY light blue or purple-ish blue for Anticleia, nearly white I get this because much of fanart I've seen has the royal family wearing blue of some shade, and I think it'd be very canon considering they are an island, very connected to the sea, and because of Epic!Athena's design.
If you guys ever want any type of drawing or sketch done, send me. I have nothing to do and honestly I like drawing for other people so, if ya have anything (Even if those rareships, I rather find them curious) send me! ^^
(Just mind the drawings are not always perfect...................................)
Being a twitter user since I was young, people on tumblr are really nice. Like, WDYM you respect my opinion, people on twitter would have found my IP adress π(for the person who very kindly acepted my opinion on writting character's, THANK YOU, have a great day, you're so amazing and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.)
Kinda yeah! I just like to imagine different stories in the same context, like, Scylla ate 6 men. I like to imagine if these men had families, or friends, if they felt betrayed or they had no reaction at all. They were human lives (albeit fictional OFC Im not delusional), and us humans have complicated lives with feelings that desarve to be once told.
You didn't sound mean at all, not every negative response is mean, I asked a question so Im not expecting everyone to be positive with it. That'd be weird of me hahahahaha.
I'm very sensitive to minor characters in stories, I'm always mad when the author and readers treat them like random people who died or just another casualty, when no, those people had lives and dreams and hopes and I want to know them.
Like, in Epic, there's 600 Ithacans. We only know five. (Polites, Eurylochus, Elpenor, Perimedes and Odysseus himself.), in the Odyssey, we know of 3 others (Antiphus, Eurylus & Amphidamas.), they were 600, I WANT TO KNOW ALL OF THEM. I want to know if they were married, if they longed for their wives as much as Odysseus did, if they also had children they never met but wanted to, or sisters they wanted to see again, or mothers they longed to feel the embrace of. We only ever briefly know Eurylochus was married to Ctimene, but what else? And the trojan women? We know of the important ones, (Briseis, Andromache, Creusa, Hecuba, Laodice, Cassandra, Polyxena, etc..) but there must have been tons of women suffering there, who were they before the war? Did they have fathers, brothers, sons who died? Or were they enslaved with their mothers, sisters and daughters? Do they ever get to feel happy again? I hate in when a book goes: "The poets won't sing of this person" or "The Poets don't care about this person" LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER, I'M THE POET, I'LL SING, I CARE. LET ME EAT UP EVERY SINGLE STORY EVER. All to say I'm considering writting fanfics about either Odysseus' crewmen or the trojen women.
Would y'all read that?
Why stop the swifter comparison there? We should make up that jorge has a cancelled album thatβs an Athena spinoff (like the karma album)
and make rumors about a book jorge wrote when he was 13 is going to be his directorial movie debut
HAHAHDHSHAHAHAHAHAHSHS IMMA DIE
Us epic fans have to begin making rumors like that. Because OBVIOUSLY there is an Athena spinoff where she plays matchmaker to Odypen, and he is going to release it on Valentine's day with the cut song saga.
Also MY FIRST ANON!!!!! THANK YOU!!! I feel famous already lmao
I'm not really saying mundane things, yeah I also dont need to know how many times Odysseus showered (Prob 0 as well π). Im saying really the stories.
Might be just my thing, because I love to write stories and know stories, I want to be a historian and all, so Im generally more interested in knowing specific details and other main stories. I dont like when they treat character's deaths and emotions as something brief only because they aren't the MC.
For example, if I write about Eurylochus I'd describe his main life stuff, his childhood with Odysseus, marriage, going to Troy, his fighting skills, his general ambitions and hopes, and then his eventual descent to mutiny. And because its my little thing and I study history I like to create a lot of stories and character's stories that were left on the shadows, like Odysseus' 600 Ithacans.
Its really just my thing, and its totally okay for you to not really like it! I aint here to force anyone to hop on anything I say. I dont at all mean this reblog as trying to argue or anything, just generally explaining my idea because yesh I sound mad as hell kkkkkk ^^

At this point, we might as well turn into those paranoid Swifties who can predict a new album from Taylor twirling her hair or sum. We'll analyse Jorge's next video and go "At 01:20 he said fly butterflies, which has 13 words. You know what has 13 words? VENGANCE SAGA."
So it has been theorized that Jay will release the Vengeance Saga on Halloween, and if he were to do that, I think he would likely announce that some time the next week to two weeks- as on average he lets us know at least 20 days before-

If someone does a Gods Game animatic, I'd really like to see that: When the piano motif changes from warrior of the mind to legendary, instead of it being Athena meeting and holding baby Telemachus like in the original livestream animatic. It's actually Athena looking down at Young Odysseus, and then slowly as the motif changes he turns into Telemachus, and she realises just how alike father and son are, her two pupils, with one she can still save and one she can still train right.
DO THE FATHER-SON RELATIONSHIP JUSTICE
I love the various modern interpretations of greek myths, how we now with all our human psychological understandment can propose ideas (well, headcanons) about characters. I'm saying that just to say Odysseus would be PEAK older brother behaviour with poor Ctimene. He's the older brother who grimaced when he first held his younger sister, who'd cut the head of her dolls, who'd sing "CTIMENE AND EURYLOCHUS SITTING IN A TREE!". He hides under her bed waiting for her to come to sleep and then yell to scare the shit out of her. And for that, Ctimene is peak younger sister behaviour as well. When Odysseus got the scar from the boar, she must have been like "Am I the favourite now? ^^". She steals her brother's clothing and watches as helpless Odysseus tries to get someone to help him. She marries one of his BEST FRIENDS and will brag about it any time she can. All in all, I propose to y'all: Peak sibling behaviour from Odysseus & Ctimene. Thank you for your time.
