Amor Asteroid (1221) and soulmates

The Amor asteroid in Astrology is connected to platonic love and compassion - similarly to Ceres it can represent unconditional love, one that doesn't need to have a reason to exist, one that would exist regardless of the circumstances, but in a romantic way, unlike Ceres which is normally connected to a mother-child type of relationship.

Amor can show intimacy, closeness, a relationship that doesn't have to be sexual, but one that carries a strong connection between the two people. Amor also shows how we deal with romantic rejection - whether it's aspected in anger (natal aspect to Mars), in isolation and loneliness(natal aspectto Uranus and/or Saturn), in victimhood(natal aspect to Neptune), in putting more focus on ourselves (natal aspect to Sun or Venus) or accepting it as a lesson, despite our ego being hurt (natal aspect to Jupiter). The Sun/Ascendant/1st House person has the qualities that the Amor person can idolize romantially, it can show direct attachment and romantic feelings that can evolve fast. The Amor person may fall in love with the Sun/AS person's presence, their being. They can romanticize them, view them through rose-colored glasses (at times it can be quite Neptunian). The Sun/AS person will feel truly confident, appreciated, worthy and valid. They can view each other as their ideal lover, as someone who directly represents the qualities in the person they have always wanted to love.

Amor conjunct the other person's Moon

This can give a feeling that it was "meant to be". It can be very selfless, quite sacrificial at times as if even hurting the other person the slightest causes great pain to yourself too. The Moon person will feel like their true self is finally loved by someone, as if someone worships the part of themselves that they can't seem to always love themselves.

This is one of the straight-out-of-a-fairytale aspects. This can signify a very strong union, a union that carries love for each other that can't go away regardless of the circumstances. In many cases, it can be said that this is the type of relationship where both people are ready to take a bullet for each other. It can be selfless, the other person will be a priority, they will be an important part of your life you have to think about before making any decision. It is often seen in long-term relationships.

Amor conjunct the other person's Psyche

This can show a love that is very emotional - very profound. It is not physical, not just emotional - it seems to come from a very different place. Astrology: The 7th house and the relationship partner

Our ascendant sign indicates how we distinguish ourselves as an individual. It depicts the characteristics we project into the outer world and how we proclaim our “I am”.

In regards to this, our descendent then indicates who we declare as “They are”. The sign here indicates the type of people we attract or are attracted to as they provide contrast to who we define ourselves as - Ever heard “opposites attract”?

•The first experience with love, sex and friendships was most likely painful or just extremely weird. They were definitely hurt early on. This can be something that happened so early that they barely remember it.

VENUS IN THE 8th HOUSE; Observations

I’ll be honest, sometimes I find myself getting annoyed with how often this placement is talked about. I see it mentioned in nearly every astro post related to love, sex, and beauty. This placement is constantly being discussed. So, I guess it just proves the point that this placement really does draw in a ton of obsessive attention. It is honestly crazy, and in a way I feel bad for those with this placement. I think people overlook all their other qualities in favor of their sexual appeal. It is almost like other people can’t see beyond their appearance and allure. As a result, these natives draw in many people who want to own them rather than get to know them. How is that any fun? These individuals are incredibly sensitive and deserve to experience deep love. Instead, they find themselves surrounded by jealousy and a life plagued by themes of possession. The love they received growing up was not safe and consistent, making it hard for them to navigate adult relationships. They themselves are possessive over others because the only times in which they felt valued was when they were possessed. They have an incredibly difficult time distinguishing between love and possession, and find themselves trapped within a cycle of codependent relationships. They are in constant need of a “favorite person” who will help them walk through the difficult aspects of life. They hold a deep mistrust towards others and will test people to see how far their loyalty actually goes. To make things more frustrating, these types are not the most forthcoming with their feelings. I’ve noticed Moon in Aries individuals at least once in life have gone through a phase of repression and resentment thus isolating themselves a bit, could’ve struggle with explosive emotions.

Libra risings are one of the most helpful individuals, they love to be convenient even though Virgo risings get the reputation of being helpful, I believe Libra risings never hesitate to help anyone in need <3.

Gemini placements may like getting their nails done or at least want their nails perfect / cut perfectly. (Gemini rules hand)

Gemini placements are prone to being more stressed as it rules the nervous system.

Virgo placements / stellium are most likely to isolate themselves instead of seeking for guidance from others when they’re not in their best.
