Toni’s cheeks flushed, giving Megan’s hand a quick squeeze in retaliation. “What a preposterous accusation!” She slightly stumbles over her words. “And on the first date… How lewd.” A quiet huff escaped from her, an attempt at showing off how uninterested she was pretending to be. Her eyebrow twitched, the idea now planted firmly into her head.

“Don’t laugh,” Her free hand began batting at the air, a poor attempt at shooing Megan away. When the waitress walked away, Toni shifted forward to face the other again, tapping her nails on the table. “You play guitar? I didn’t take you as someone who played instruments.” She paused, trying to come up with something. “It’s not that interesting, but I had a belly button piercing for a few years. I kept having to take it out so I stopped putting it back in at some point.”

Toni smiled at their little agreement, flipping her hand to lay palm-up on the table, a silent invitation for Megan to possibly hold her hand. There's no pressure to commit today, but Toni wants Megan to know that she's interested in her.

Her frows burrowed and she puffed out her cheeks at the Amazon woman in front of her. "Don't tell them that! I can pay if I want to."
