IMAGINE: You’re fairly new to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and thanks to past circumstances, you haven’t experienced much as other teenagers have. A certain speedster takes it in his own hands to solve your problem. WORD COUNT: 1,199 WARNINGS: N/A
The music washes over you as you start to dance. The crowd isn't wild as usual, but there's enough spark to start a wildfire. The lead vocalist leans into the microphone, belting out the next lyrics.
A singer in a smokey room. The smell of wine and cheap perfume. For a smile they can share the night, it goes on and on and on and on.
Cheering them on like the rest of the crowd, you continue to sway to the beat until someone grabs your waist.
"Having fun yet?" The owner of the arms asks you, their warm breath hitting your ear.
"Yeah, thanks for getting me out of that house," you reply, grabbing the hands.
Their palms are relatively soft, unlike the fingers which are rough at the tips.
"No problem Y/N."
You're turned around. Chocolate brown eyes stare down at you, full of warmth and pride.
"I knew you'd like it here."
A Few Hours Earlier
"So how are you able to control it?" You ask Hank as he leads you to the Blackbird.
"Awhile back, I designed a serum that briefly treats my genes. When it does that, it allows me to revert to my 'normal' form."
"That's amazing!" You exclaim.
Hank shrugs as if to say 'no big deal' before showing you a half-built plane frame.
"So, what do you need help with?" He points out to various spots and starts to explain the process.
"The jets need to be bolted; the previous ones weren't strong enough."
"The mainframe sitting on the processor over there needs to be re-tuned."
"See that wing? There's a certain section that must be welded up."
Already grabbing a few tools for the job, you're interrupted by a small 'whoosh'.
"Hey McCoy, what'cha doing?" You don't turn around, being too busy in gathering your needed equipment.
"Just showing our new engineer trainee the ropes."
After getting everything strapped to your vest, you turn around and face Hank, who stands by himself. "Wasn't someone just talking to you?"
Another 'whoosh' sounds this time right beside you. You quickly look to your right where a silver-haired man stands, sporting odd gear. Goggles sit on his forehead while clipped earbuds hang around his neck, connected to a SONY Walkman strapped to his belt.
"Yeah, that's me. You look very nice, why haven't we me before? I'm Peter Maximoff but guys around here call me Quicksilver. What's your name?"
He speaks so quickly; you have to ask him to repeat it. When you can properly hear him, you offer a hand.
"Nice to meet you... Quicksilver? I'll have to stick with Peter. I'm Y/N."
Peter smiles at the way you respond to him shyly but doesn't bring it up. "You new here? Never seen you around."
You explain how Charles stumbled upon you about a month ago and offered you a place at the school. You moved in only two weeks back. Hank had recently found about your knack with mechanical devices and technical skills.
Peter watches you the whole time you speak, listening carefully to everything you say. Once you're finished, he asks a random question.
"Have you ever gone to a concert Y/N?"
"No. Never had the time."
He scrunches his brown eyebrows in confusion before shaking his head. "You have really never gone to a concert before?" He looks you up and down, smirking broadly once he does.
"That won't do."
In seconds, you feel all the excess weight from the power tools gone. They're quick to reappear in a small pile at Hank's feet. Peter, out of nowhere, stands by your side.
"Sorry Hank," he starts, already slipping on his goggles. "Your little class with Y/N will have to be postponed. I am going to take her to have the time of her life."
Scrunching your nose up in confusion, you look at him. "Really?"
"Yes." He replies. His hand reaches for the back of your head as you speak.
"And how are you-"
Everything rushes past as Peter grabs your head and starts running. Next thing you know, you're standing in your dormitory.
"-Gonna do that?"
Peter knowingly grabs a small trashcan from the corner of the room and hands it to you. Quickly spitting up the little breakfast you had, you glare daggers at the speedster.
"Give me a bit of a warning next time."
"Oh, I will," he responds playfully. One second he's gone, but quickly returns the next with a small pile of clothes in his arms.
"Put this on," Peter says before tossing them at your face. Catching them with ease, you eye them curiously.
"What's wrong with what I have on now?"
"It's nice but you might want to be a bit more comfortable where we're going."
Agreeing to his terms, the fellow mutant waits patiently as you change, leaving the room while you do like a gentleman. Once you've finished, you call him back in.
"You have nice taste, Peter." You compliment, looking over your clothes in the mirror.
"Nah, you just make it look good."
Fixing your shirt, you dare to ask Peter where you were going in order to hide your embarrassment.
"Have you ever heard of Journey?"
"The band?" You question. "A little. I don't listen to music so their songs are a mystery to me."
"I am trying to develop an interest in you Y/N. Are you trying to turn me off or something?"
This boy was definitely not going to make things easy for you. Feeling your cheeks reddening, you turn to Peter.
"I'm sorry. I don't usually have time to listen to music."
"Well, we're going to change that." He grabs your head once more before rushing off.
Several hundred miles later, the two of you stand on a grassy lawn, surrounded by a scattered amount of fellow teenagers and middle-aged adults, all in ripped clothing. A large stage is settled nearby where a crew sets up sound equipment.
"And now we wait."
-
And so, you did. As the band readied themselves for a performance, you and Peter got to know each other better. He had a twin sister named Wanda and along with his mother, they lived in a house full of stolen goods. He then adds how he once had broken into the pentagon and freed the man who supposedly killed JFK.
With every passing minute you talked, you feel more and more intrigued by him. It was nice, having a guy your own age to hang out with who actually let loose.
Then the lights dimmed down as the music started to pour out of the large speakers. It hit you like a tidal wave and you immediately fell in love with it. You started dancing and laughing, something you rarely did anymore.
As they started to play another song, you allow Peter to hold you from behind.
"This is nice," you tell him, swaying from side to side. "I never thought myself to be a rock kind of person."
You look up to Peter who gazes down at you with affection.
"We never think ourselves to be a lot of things but we're still here."
Things were really looking good now.
-Sometimes he gets carried away in the moment and doesn’t realize if he’s bothering you. Being loud and having super speed can do that. However, he’s also quick to notice your discomfort and will often make an attempt to rein in if he’s being a bit...too much. (That and Wanda will also make a habit of reminding him if he’s not remembering.)
-He picked you up and ran off with you once. The result really depending on your reaction to it.
If you found yourself overstimulated, he ends up being incredibly hesitant to use his super speed with you again.
If you really enjoyed it and are sensation-seeking, he’ll most likely use any and all opportunity to pick you up and run around with you again.
Either way, he tries to warn you in advance just so he doesn’t catch you too off-guard.
-He definitely has stolen fidget toys for you before. And he’ll do it again.
-If you’re touch adverse, he might need some time to get used to that, he’s a very physically affectionate person. But he is very willing to show his affection in other ways.
If you aren’t touch adverse, be prepared for a lot of PDA.
-Someone’s being ableist to you and he sees? Two seconds later, they’re stuffed into a trash can. He’s very very petty about ableism towards you. When you look at him afterwards, he’ll look at you with this big smile. “I bet he didn’t see that coming.”
-He obviously finds it really hard to sit still, so most of the time, he doesn’t even notice your stimming. In a way, you could say he stims as well, so he’s probably the most casual about it out of all the Avengers.
-His first instinct, whenever he sees you having a meltdown, is getting you away from wherever you are and taking you somewhere isolated and quiet. (Whether he uses his super speed to do this or not depends on your reaction to it as stated above.) From there, he’ll attempt to calm you down and help you relax.
-Talking about your hyperfixations is something that generally happens mostly in the gym while you two are training. Pietro may seem like he’s not listening sometimes, but if you stop talking he’ll instantly ask why you’ve suddenly gone quiet.
-Not getting sarcasm and sass is something that Pietro and you might need to work through considering... I mean, he’s Pietro, his first language isn’t Sokovian, it’s sass. This is also the one thing that kind of frustrates him, but he’ll usually brush it off, after all, it’s not more important to him than you are.
-Pietro finds it much much easier to sleep when you’re with him. If you have trouble sleeping due to your Autism, he’ll often make little ‘nights’ with you, where you’ll both stay up and just spend time together until you both eventually crash. Maybe not the healthiest of strategies, but it usually works.
One-Shot request: Part 2 to Feelings. Pietro followed you into the room and heard everything Steve had said. Announcements: Sorry this took so long, I hope you like it though! Warnings: None<br> Word Count: 966 You stood there, staring at Steve for what seemed like an eternity. He loved you? Since when? I mean, you loved him too, but as family, never as something more, why would you? Memories came flooding back to you, of holidays and birthdays and other parties that Tony threw, suddenly recognizing the signs were there all along, the awkward conversations, avoiding eye contact, for months this was all happening and you never noticed. Why? Why did this ever have to happen? Things were going to get so complicated now, after this nothing would be the same, missions, movie nights, and the works. You furrowed your eyebrows in thought. “Y/N? Y/N?” “Huh!” You said quickly, coming out of your wide eyed stare. “Well, are you going to say anything?” Steve asked quietly. “I, well I-” Well I what, you thought, what should you say? What are you supposed to say? Your thoughts were cut off by an angry voice coming from behind you. “Yes, Y/N. What do you say to the great Captain America?” The color went out from your cheeks as you turned to face Pietro who stood looming in the doorway. He must have followed you, but how much did he hear? “I, Pietro, I wouldn’t-” “Wouldn’t what? Huh? Have you been sneaking behind my back with him?” He asked quietly. You looked him in the eye, “Of course not, Pietro. I love you,” but that didn’t seem to calm him down. He pushed past you and faced up against Steve, his chest puffing out with anger as Steve stood up straight. Pietro looked him in the eye so harshly you thought that Steve’s head would catch fire. “Listen, Pietro, I don’t want to start any trouble,” Steve said firmly. “Oh yeah?” Pietro hissed, “If you didn’t want to start any trouble then why did you say anything? Huh? Did you forget that I was in the picture? I would have never thought that you, Captain America, would do this to one of his own team members. I thought that I could call you a friend, but apparently not.” Steve looked like he wanted to say something else, but held it in. you were thankful for that. You looked at Pietro, he looked hurt. Maybe not to anyone else but you knew him. He really did feel betrayed by one of his friends, you thought. Stepping up in between the two other Avengers you laid a hand of Pietro’s chest. He quickly glanced at you and back to Steve, somehow managing to frown even harder. He huffed loudly and sped out of the room, leaving your hand to fall to your side. You went to follow him when Steve stopped you. “Y/N? I really am sorry. I didn’t mean to start anything.” You looked down, “Yeah, I know,” You sighed heavily and looked back up at him, “Just, just give us some time, at least until things calm down.” And with that, you left the room. —- It took some time to find Pietro, seeing as how he could go basically anywhere within seconds. Eventually you found him in a little restaurant that you both liked to frequent sitting at a table looking out the window with a now cold cup of coffee sitting in front of him. If he notice you come in and sit down he didn’t show it. A waitress came up and asked what you wanted to drink, after she brought you a coffee she left the both of you alone. The two of you sat there, not talking or looking at each other, for a long time. Eventually you sighed, “Pietro, I’m sorry.” There was a pause, then he looked over at you with sad eyes, “Tell me the truth, please. Do you love him? Do you feel the same way?” You looked back at him, “No. No I don’t. Ok, Pietro? I love you and I mean it with all of my heart,” You placed your hand softly over his. “I could never love Steve in the same way that I love you, alright? I thought of him as family, a friend.” “And now?” “And now I really don’t know.” You looked at each other for another few moments, “I’m sorry too,” Pietro eventually said, “I freaked out and I shouldn’t have accused you.” “No, you shouldn’t have,” You agreed, “But I can get over it. Let’s go home” You and Pietro got up and paid for the coffees. You both walked back toward the tower without saying anything else. Kissing you on the cheek he asked, “Are you coming to bed?” “In a minute,” You answered He yawned and zipped off to the room, which left you alone in the living room of the tower. You walked over to the large windows that lined the entire wall and watched the city. After a while you saw Steve’s reflection in the glass. You opened your mouth to say something but Steve beat you to the punch, “Please, just don’t say anything,” You closed your mouth and listened, still facing the windows, “I’m sorry, ok? I really am. I know it was stupid to say anything because now things are going to be different and more complicated than I ever wanted them to be. I had a moment of weakness and I realize I should have never let it slip out. I’m just letting you know that I will back off and leave the two of you be.” You looked out of the window, thinking, and then finally giving a short nod in acceptance. He nodded back and left the room. Soon you did the same and crawled into bed with Pietro snuggling up to his warm form. Things may get complicated, you thought, but for now you can just sleep.
One-Shot request: It’s like an AU, with Cap training Pietro Maximoff and Pietro is acting all cocky and Cap is trying to control him, pulling Pietro by the ear when he gets annoying. But at the end Cap tells Pietro a story and they talk, and they get on better terms. Announcements: Again, I’m sorry this took so long. I’ve just been very busy. I hope you guys like it! Word count: 533 Warnings: None
Smoke filled the room, the only lights were randomly placed and dim. A certain Avenger was crouched down and peering through the smoke. He saw movement to the left, and then the right. The smoke started swirling around him, getting faster and faster. Within the smoke he saw flashes of blue and silver. The Avenger smiled and stood up, his plan had worked and the streak of blue and silver had ran right into his trap. Captain America pressed a button on a remote he had in his pocket and stood still. The motion sensors in the training room focused themselves on the streak and fired their rubber bullets. They would hurt but they wouldn’t kill, after all, this was only training. The streak was hit multiple times and slowed down. Pietro came to a jogging stop as the large fans begin blowing away the smoke and looked around with a smirk. Steve Rodgers pulled off his mask and furrowed his eyebrows at Pietro, “What are you smiling at?” “It was just a lucky shot. I’m too quick to be caught off guard that often. It’s a one in a million chance that it would happen in a real fight,” Pietro scoffed and shook out his legs only to see Cap still staring at him. “What?” Steve gritted his teeth slightly, “Kid, I know your speed gets you out of a lot of trouble, but acting cocky doesn’t help anyone with anything. Start acting serious.” The Maximoff chuckled and started zipping around Captain America, “I don’t need to act serious when no one can catch me.” Steve sighed and pushed the button again, and again the little projectiles bounced off of Pietro in multiple directions. “Ow! Ok, what was that for?” “Listen, I know you may be fast but things are going to happen that will catch you off guard and you won’t always have your speed. I don’t entirely rely on my shield, I have more resources to pick from in case I don’t have others,” Steve looked at Pietro in the eye. “We train for a reason, ok? It’s my job to make sure that you all have the correct skills to replace the Avengers and to do that you need to take these sessions seriously or you or your team members could and probably will get hurt.” Pietro evaded eye contact, images of a hurt Wanda flashing through his head, finally nodding his head. “Ok, I got it. You’re right.” Captain America smiled slightly, “Now, let’s try again, and remember, you always have more than one tool in the toolbox.” Pietro stared at Cap, trying not to laugh at how much of an old guy saying just came out of his mouth. And then he realized that Cap is an old guy and laughed a little harder. “What?” asked the Avenger asked suspiciously. “It’s just that, well… nothing, its nothing.” “Uh huh, well, let’s push that nothing away and get back to work,” Captain America turned around and Pietro let out a chuckle as smoke again began to fill the room. Pietro let out a chuckle and went back to the starting position. This time using more than one tool.
I love this so much! ❤❤❤

A/N: Wow. This is my longest imagine yet, I think. All of my Pietro ones are super long, has anyone else noticed that? I guess I just get swept up in the idea of Pietro. Why can’t I have a Pietro in my life? That would be amazing. Anyways, this one won the vote, so here it is! FYI, ‘printesa’ means ‘princess,’ ‘draga’ means ‘darling,’ and (Y/F/S) means ‘your favorite show. If you would like to be added to my Tag List for all future updates, just let me know! Well, I hope you enjoy!

MASTERLIST
Pietro was nervous. Excited. Overjoyed. Practically bouncing off the walls with energy, more so than other days. He could feel his heart soaring. He felt like he had just won the lottery. Why, you may ask?
You were coming home.
You, his Printesa. His Draga. His Love. His Heart. His Life. And you were coming home.
Finally, you were coming home. Pietro had been waiting (somewhat patiently) for this day. The day where he can see you step off that quinjet. The day where he would run up to you, pick you up, and twirl you around as if you were lighter than a feather; because to Pietro, you were. The day where he could finally kiss you, after not being able to for the past four months. Those four, painstakingly agonizing months where he couldn’t feel your skin against his, couldn’t taste your lips, couldn’t smell your sweet scent. But today, today was the day where he could do all of it and more.
And he was beyond ready to have you in his arms once again, safe.
Unfortunately for Pietro, you wouldn’t be arriving until around dinner time. But since his nerves and excitement decided that he wasn’t going to get a good night’s sleep before you got home, they woke him up at six in the morning. A whole twelve hours before he could see you, his ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.
Staring at the ceiling of his bedroom, Pietro’s mind was racing. This had to be the best welcome home anyone has ever received, that way you wouldn’t want to leave again. Shutting his eyes, Pietro tried to will his mind to shut off and let him get more sleep. Every time he was close to that blissful rest, he received a flash of your scent, or an image of your lips that he would soon be kissing in eleven hours and fifty-seven minutes; and he would start the vicious cycle all over again.
Sitting up, Pietro checked his phone to see if you had sent him any messages. Not a single one. She probably wants to make me wait, Pietro thought with a small smile. That little minx. Swinging his legs over the side of the bed, Pietro made his way to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Grabbing the clothes that he set out the night before, (All your favorites, of course. Especially the tight gray and blue shirt that you loved. He had made sure that they were all washed the day before, courtesy of his wonderful sister, Wanda) Pietro quickly showered and changed. Slipping on his tennis shoes, Pietro sped off to the kitchen where the rest of his teammates sat.
“Whoa,” Tony shouted after nearly being ran over by Pietro. “What’s got you excited, Speedy Gonzales?”
Smiling brightly as he grabbed the cereal box, he placed a kiss on his sister’s forehead. “(Y/N)’s coming home today!”
“Really?” Natasha said, looking up from over her phone. “Hadn’t noticed.”
“Yeah, not like you’ve been telling us every single day for the past month,” Clint grumbled, taking a bite of his cereal. “‘Only twenty-six days until (Y/N) is back!’” Clint said in a horrible Sokovian accent, obviously trying to imitate Pietro.
Eyes turning into slits, Pietro glared at him. “I do not sound like Dracula, old man.” Scooping up a spoonful of cereal, he shoved it into his mouth. “Besides, what’s wrong with me wanting to see my Printesa?”
“Nothing at all,” Vision replied, phasing through the kitchen wall, scaring Scott. “It is perfectly normal for a human to miss their partner and want to be with them.” On the word ‘partner’ Vision had moved next to Wanda, causing her to blush slightly.
Eyes turning into slits once more, Pietro sent daggers towards Vision. “Get away from my baby sister, Android.”
Scoffing, Wanda pushed away from the table. “I’m not your baby sister! We are only twelve minutes apart. And besides, I don’t complain about your relationship with my best friend.”
“(Y/N) isn’t red like a tomato and came from a computer program and a rock!”
“That’s besides the point, and I’m done arguing,” Wanda said, putting her foot down. “Now, do you need help planning her welcome home party?”
“Yes, please,” Pietro said, kissing his sister’s hand.
“Great!” Vision shouted, clasping his hands together. “I’ll help.”
This is going to be a long day, Pietro thought to himself, groaning at the thought of spending the day with Vision.
Placing the last touch on your welcome home party, Pietro stepped back and looked proudly at his work. Wanda and Vision had helped him put together his masterpiece, to which he was beyond thankful.
“She’ll love it,” Wanda breathed out, looking at all the hard work they put in.
“Oh yes,” Vision added, surveying the room. “Knowing (Y/N), there is at least an 85% chance that she will enjoy what you have set up.”
Eyes rolling at Vision’s statistics, Pietro opens the door. “Lets go wait for her. Only one hour left until she is home.” Nodding at his words, they all exited to await your arrival. Some more than others.
“Calm down, will you? You’re driving me insane,” Wanda scolded, pinching the bridge of her nose in annoyance. The quinjet was landing in five minutes, and Pietro was so nervous that he kept tapping his foot. Because of his enhancement, his foot tapping was accelerated so much that his foot was a blur.
“Sorry,” Pietro mumbled, brushing his hand through his silver hair. Eyes trained on the sky, Pietro anxiously looked for the familiar shape of the quinjet. The wind on the roof constantly kept blowing his hair in his face, along with his sister’s long brown hair. Swatting away his hair, Pietro almost screamed when he saw the familiar black shape along the horizon.
“SHE’S HERE!” Pietro yelled, running towards the edge of the roof. As the black mass moved over his head, Pietro ran back to his sister’s side to wait for you to finally step off the platform, reuniting the two of you.
Landing gear deploying, Pietro’s accelerated foot tapping started up once again as the doors opened.
Stepping out of the jet, your eyes adjusted to the light. Looking down, you saw your best friend, Wanda, waiting for you with a smile. Immediately next to her was Pietro, his face lighting up when he saw you.
“(Y/N)!” He shouted, speeding up to you. Smiling brightly, you laughed as he scooped you up into his strong arms and began spinning you around.
Setting you down, you were met with Pietro’s smiling face and bright blue eyes. Tears welling up in your eyes, you placed your hand against his stubbly face. Oh, how you missed that stubble.
“I missed you,” You croaked out, voice laden with tears.
“As did I,” Pietro whispered, pulling you even closer to him. “Four months was way too long.”
Chuckling slightly, you ran your fingers through his thick hair. “Yes. Yes it was.”
Forehead resting against yours, Pietro leaned in slightly, brushing his lips against yours gently, igniting a fire inside of you. Impatient, because dammit, you’ve waited too long, you pulled your boyfriend to you, crashing your lips against his.
Smiling at the contact, Pietro pulled you close to his body by your hips, resting his large hands on your lower back.
“Get a room!” Clint yelled over the dying engine of the quinjet, joining the welcoming group along with the others. Releasing one hand from Pietro’s hair, you flipped off the whistling group, causing laughter to erupt among them. Feeling only one hand on your waist, you opened your eye just a tad bit to find Pietro’s hand right next to yours, flipping them off as well.
Pulling back from lack of oxygen, you turned towards your group of friends, all of which you missed dearly. Hand intertwining with Pietro’s, you walked down the ramp to be swarmed by your friends, each giving you a hug.
“Missed you, kid,” Tony said affectionately, pulling back from the hug.
“Missed you too,” You responded as you felt a tug on your hand. Looking back over your shoulder, you see Pietro motioning towards inside with a smile.
“Sorry, everyone,” You said with a small smile as Pietro pulled you into his side. “I promised I would spend time with him.”
“Aw, can’t you share?” Steve joked. “We missed her too.”
“No. Mine.” Pietro replied as he swung you up into his arms. Knowing what happened next, you placed your arms around his neck.
“Bye,” You said quickly to your friends, knowing that you would catch up with them later. Pietro then speeded into the compound, turning everything into a blur. Stopping abruptly outside of his bedroom, you looked at him suspiciously.
“Why here?” You asked as he set you down. Shrugging, Pietro took your hand once more as he opened the door. Walking in, you laughed as you felt Pietro cover your eyes. “Pietro…”
“Shh,” Pietro whispered, guiding you into the room. “Okay, Draga,” he said, removing his hands. “Surprise!”
Opening your eyes, your breath became caught in your throat at the sight before you. Pietro’s room was covered in candles, casting everything in a warm and comforting glow. On the bedside table were all of your favorite foods, waiting to be eaten. Next to his TV were all of your favorite movies and shows, some of which you only watched with him. What really made your heart stop though was that the room was covered in rose petals, filling it with a sweet scent. Sure, it was cheesy, but it was perfect to you. Because Pietro did it all.
“Pietro…” You breathed out in awe. Arms wrapping around your waist, Pietro hugged you from behind.
“Just wanted to treat you. Welcome home,” Pietro whispered in your ear as he placed a kiss on your neck. Turning in his arms, you smiled up at him as you laced your fingers through his thick locks once again.
“It’s perfect,” You replied as you pecked his lips. Pulling away slightly, he pulled you back to his lips, not quite done kissing you yet. Giggling as he continued to kiss you, your giggles turned into laughter as he kissed all over your face. “Pietro!”
“C'mon,” He said, halting his attack. “Let’s eat.” Dragging you onto his bed, you ate almost all of the food set before you, with the help of Pietro and his fast metabolism. Kicking off your shoes, you laid back onto his bed, completely relaxed.
“What are you doing?” He asked, Sokovian accent prevalent.
“Resting,” You answered, eyes closed.
“Oh no,” He said with a grin, pulling you up by your arms. Laughing, you sat up. “You’re going to spend time with me. I haven’t seen you in four months.”
“Can’t we do that after a nap?” You pleaded, giving your boyfriend the puppy dog eyes.
Shockingly, he resisted. “No. We are going to cuddle while we catch up on (Y/F/S). I haven’t been able to watch it for four months!”
Shaking your head whilst laughing, you look at your boyfriend. “You could’ve watched it without me.”
“It is our show. I couldn’t watch it without you,”
“You’re too sweet,” You blushed, pecking his cheek. “Set it up. I’m going to get into comfy clothes.”
Nodding at your orders, you got up from the bed and grabbed some of Pietro’s sweatpants and one of his shirts. Quickly changing into them, you jumped back onto the bed, with Pietro following suit.
Cuddling up to your boyfriend, you sigh in bliss as the familiar theme song began. Wrapped up in his arms, you smile as you feel him kiss your forehead.
I am never leaving him again, you thought as you breathed in his welcoming scent.
After three episodes, Pietro looked down at you. You had fallen asleep halfway through the second episode, but Pietro didn’t have the heart to wake you up. You looked too cute. Smiling, Pietro turned off the TV. Brushing away a strand of hair that fell into your face, Pietro pulled you closer to him.
“You are never leaving me again, Printesa,” Pietro whispered knowing that you couldn’t hear him. “That was way too hard. Every morning, I found myself walking towards your room to wake you up, since I was your personal alarm clock. But you weren’t there. Every morning I had to go through the realization that you weren’t here, with me. And every morning my heart broke. Because all I wanted to do was wish you good morning, to kiss you. In those four months I not only lost my girlfriend temporarily, I lost my best friend. I missed just talking to you, seeing you smile. I don’t think you realize just how much of a hold you have on me, Printesa,” Pietro smiled. “You are my life, my whole life. You are my love, my heart, my world. Do you realize that, Draga? Because you are. Without you, I am nothing. I love you so much. More than you ever know.”
Kissing your forehead once more, you stirred in your sleep. Freezing, Pietro waited to see if you had heard any part of his confession.
“…Pietro?” You mumbled, blearily blinking away sleep.
“I’m here, Draga,” Pietro whispered, brushing away your hair.
“Good. I missed you,” You sleepily muttered, already drifting back to sleep.
“I missed you too, Printesa. Now, sleep. I’ll be right here,”
“Good,” You replied, burying your face into the crook of his neck. “I love you.”
“I love you too, my Life,” Pietro whispered, kissing your forehead one last time. Already feeling your breathing slowing down, Pietro smiled to himself as he too drifted off to sleep.
Those four months were hard, but you made it. The lives the two of you led were difficult, extremely difficult. But you could get through it, as long as you had the other. Because true love endured all.
