writing a tokrev fanfic is so confusing cuz depending on which timeline you're writing in, there are some characters that are dead and some who are alive but BECAUSE of the timeleap element, those who are dead are alive in another and, for example, if you wanna know the date of their death you have to research a bunch more before you finally find it

draken's stance just asserts power. yet somehow its also amazing nonchalant he makes it seem. the look on his face is so sure, like he's so confident and self-assured. so fierce!!!!!! and that flag!!! i might be reading too much into this but the fact that it's draken who holds the flag reflects how much he really loves his gang. his family.

even in later chapters, in the future when toman had disbanded, he expresses how much he cared for it and perhaps would even continue or start a new one of given the chance.

then we have mikey. the boss.

he's squinting his eyes like he's judging the entire city below him. idk if its just me but his posture seems kinda guarded, closed off. his shoulders look stiff. but aside from that, his little gloved hand is so cute!

anyway... his face!! the determined furrow of his brows, the hardened look of his eyes, fixed lips and jaw - everything screams revenge about him. he really looks like he could kill someone. his face easily stands out to me more than the others just because of those concentrated, prominent features. absolutely powerful.

his pose is so cute!!! its kinda sly and gives him this air of mystery and yet it also makes him kinda timid and shy. but those eyes! oh my god. and he's staring straight at us!!

but aside from that, he's the only one sitting down and i wonder if thats purposeful or if he just wanted to pose that way. honestly he might've seen some character in his shojo manga pose like this and decided that he wanna do it too to be "as cool as the main character who is loved by the entire female population but is completely unaware of it and only has eyes for one girl whom he would do anything for." - his words.

why tho???

literally dont get it cuz we never find out anything about mucho. just that he runs a division in toman which isnt under any guidance and regulation of mikey and apparently he had a close and perhaps intimate relationship with sanzu.

the other members also dont seem that close with him. we rarely see them mention mucho nor do we see much of him with them.

and yet, he's an important person to mikey for what??? what did he do??? how did he impact mikey so much to the point that he would consider mucho an important person to him?? i dont get it.

also he got killed off so fast. did we even get a backstory? i dont remember if we did.

Some Sunset Duo hurt/comfort (emphasis on the comfort) <3

Youngest siblings sometimes get unfairly stereotyped as the "spoiled/bratty/annoying little sibling", and I imagine Mikey internalizes this at some point. Part of Mikey's fight for independence is rooted in fear that he's a burden to his brothers, assumption that Raph only cares for him out of obligation, and desire to relieve Raph of some of his "big bro" responsibilities. While Raph did grow up believing he had a crushing amount of obligation as the oldest bro, he loved brotherly physical affection and was hurt when Mikey requested to stop being carried/held/cuddled/etc. The topic comes up during a conversation when they're in their 20s (after Raph starts learning about healthy detachment, which helps him set boundaries and allow others to help/take care of him, too), and the honest conversation helps relieve both of their concerns.

Like mans got a LOT love to give just generally and is practically diagnosed with ADHD in every iteration. But could you imagine how intense being the sole focus, dare I say hyperfixation, of one such turtle? He lives to love and to love YOU would give him life. Wrapped up and interwoven in every thought and every action through and through.

Mikey is struggling with depression, and the refusal of physical comfort isn't helping. He tries to keep his depressive episode a secret, but it suddenly dawns on Donnie when he goes to check on the littlest bro (which results in Donnie feeling both incredibly worried and guilty).

Ofc this is fiction, but I do wanna point out that IRL the best response to mental health issues is to remain calm and patient, and to not panic (panic/stress is understandable, but often counterproductive).

My personal ROTTMNT HC’s

Bad Boy: Donnie > See the thing with Donnie is he very much gives me Michele Buble’s “This Thing Called Love Vibes.” As in he “must get around to it.”

I don’t really think that romance is really up Donnie’s alley. Not that he’s not capable or anything. Donnie knows he looks good and has a terrifying amount of self confidence because the turtle knows he gunna DeLiVeR.

But he’s a little introverted right? With an extremely extroverted family. To have to deal with romance is finding someone whose company rivals his enjoyment of solitude which I’m under the impression is very hard for him to come by.

Not to mention, I personally HC Donnie as demisexual or not being sexually interested or attracted until after having a deep emotional connection. Now I get Donnie has a “type” or whatever but I think that’s more of just an aesthetic appeal more than anything because Donnie cares about fashion and appearances (in the fact of looking good and dressing appropriately)

WHICH IS WHY HE WOULD BE THE BAD BOY! In the fact, I think he uses/pushes the title as an “emotionally unattached bad boy” as a way to hide from unnecessary attachments because relationships take a lot of work and energy and Donnie would rather dedicate that to his projects instead. Because they’re controllable and predictable. People are not.

Again, I think Donnie would act and be happy as the bad boy until ya know, he gets fricken hit in the face with the feels. And then he becomes the most obsessed overthinking sap the world as ever seen. I liked @khayalli take in demisexual Donnie for further explanation. (Go check it out)

Flirt: Mikey> Ok listen. Mikey is cute. He’s adorable. He’s emotionally mature. He’s naturally outgoing and friendly. Not to mention he’s also the youngest with a baby face. And the kicker?

He knows it. Now Mikey is not malicious by any means, but he’s also no simpleton. If he wants something, by using a combination of ANY of those listed above traits, I find it very hard to believe that he wouldn’t get what he wanted in some way and fashion. And ROTTMNT Mikey is no Bayverse Mikey in the means that he’s constantly throwing like pickup lines and pulling moves or anything, but I do think he’s genuinely a sweetheart who just wants to make friends. In my experience, a handful of well placed compliments, talking about common interests and playful physical connection (which is all apart of typical flirting behavior), goes a LONG way in helping people lower their defenses and be friendly right back. So I don’t think Mikey is necessarily a flirt intentionally (heaven help the poor person of interest, ROTTMNT Mikey sets his eyes on wooing. I sincerely doubt any chances of them coming out alive) but rather just has a natural charm about him that he uses to his advantage in his attempts to make connections. Miss @sophiacloud28 does a wonderful example of showing this in her darling fic “A Shot In the Dark” (go check it out. The first couple chapters are delightfully giggle worthy)

Lover Boy (hopelessly devoted romantic): Raph> This is gonna be real short, but I’ll keep it to the point. Just like Raph’s sai’s 😏👉🏼👉🏼. First, check out “The Heart Is a Muscle” by Gang of Youths and then come look me in the eyes and tell me this isn’t a Raph coded song. Go. Do it. I’ll wait. Simply put, the heart is a muscle and Raph knows a thing or two about muscles. He knows how to work them. How to stretch them to the breaking point and still come back swinging. Despite all of that strength, all of that power, Raph’s real secret weapon is just how much he cares. Raph no matter the iteration, but EsPeCiAlLy in Rise, cares with ALL of his big, beautiful heart. And the best part, is he’s not afraid to show it unlike other Raph’s. He loves, and loves, and loves some more. He loves and because he loves, he protects. Because he protects, he fights. And he’s fighting with the biggest muscle of them all: his heart.

So you really want to tell me, that Rise Raph who willingly cuddles with stuffed animals, gets excited about ambience and cake, cries at lovely dovey moments, talks in a baby voice to his brothers, constantly pulls said brothers into hugs and immediately jumps off and in front of danger to protect said family would not love you with every fiber of his being, with ALL of his heart in ways that only Raph’s can do, and tell me he’s not a devoted romantic? @clioarcadia Has some of the best examples of the completely whipped Raph that I have in mind. Most wholesome, go check it out 🤌🏼

F* Boy: Leo> Ok. Somewhat similarly with Mikey, Leo is pretty. Except instead of having Mikey’s wholesome somewhat naivety about his own appeal, Leo knows he’s pretty and he flaunts it. He literally calls himself the Faceman. And that’s just what he does. In all times and in all places. Leo is constantly saving face. Because despite having the said “prettiest face” of the family, sometimes it can be hard to be pretty when your own reflection is hard meet in the eye. Eye contact is something you use when you want to be serious and when you tell need to tell the truth.

And while Leo most definitely can be serious, I think he really struggles with being honest. To others for sure (the manipulative little butt) but especially to himself. So I think being a said F* boy is Leo’s way to find the connection, affection and attention he craves without having to lose the security of having said face and accidentally exposing himself.

Because everybody knows that when the mask finally falls, it never fits in place the same way again. @desceros and @gbao3 do a really good job of highlighting and illustrating these facts if any of y’all are curious.

Random Turtle Thunks: Kisses

*adjusts my sunglasses* It'd be softboi hours folks. Tonight I'm thinking about the Rise Boys and their favorite places to kiss you.

Raph 🧸♥️:

•Forehead Kisses. Lingering ones right at the tip of your hairline. It's often because its the only place he can reach without having to shift too far down. Often brushing your hair back, cradling your cheek in the palm of his hand and tilting your head back juuuuust a little to get that perfect angle for a small smooch. The type of kisses that are full of tender promises and small wholesome moments where he just longs to be soft with you.

•Your shoulder. Chaste presses of his lips to your skin to the crook of your neck. This young Atlas knows a little something about carrying the weight of the world and often that weight settles on the shoulders. These type of kisses serve as a reminder that he understands the struggle, the weight and promises that you don't have to carry it all by yourself anymore. A somewhat protective kiss, reminding you that nothing can hurt you when you're this close to him. That he's here for you, he’ll never leave you and will forever have your back.

Donnie 🤔🟪

•Your nose. I really don't see Donnie being really big into kissing. Like think about it. Kissing is literally just the process of swapping saliva. How uNsAnItArY. *shudders* “Just where has your mouth been? Did you even brush your teeth?!” That being said, a quick peck to your nose is a simple way to fulfill the “touch of the day” box without having to get unnecessarily close and personal. There is work still to be done after all. Not to mention the cute little face you make when you go slightly crossed-eyed at his affectionate gesture is somewhat endearing. It is a very understandable reaction after all. He too would go speechless at such attention from a genuis like himself.

•Behind the corner of your jaw. Donnie doesn't like kissing. That being said, if he is going to engage in such an act, he's going to want to do it right. Never mind him looking up the most sensitive parts of the human body to make sure he plants his affection in the most effective locations. Nevermind that at all. Besides, kissing here that little bundle of nerves seems to do the trick most adequately.

Leo✨💠

•Your lips. “My Lady, if the kisses are words, c’mere. I’ma give you a speech.” No. Like seriously. I know Leo is considered the “medical expert” of the family, but the amount of times this turtle has given you some serious mouth-to-mouth should be illegal. In all honesty though, it really does mean something special to him. For this smooth talking turtle who always knows just what to say, it’s a way for him to shut up and learn how to put some action behind those words. For once, he wants to show you that he means what he says. Because for all the silliness, it was never a joke, his feeling for you.

•Your knuckles. Leo is a one-stinking suave gentleman when he wants to be, and he's not going to let you forget it. Not to mention it’s an easy, inconspicuous way to keep you close so long your hand is entertained with his. Not that he worries when you're out of reach or anything. The cute little increase of color right there on your cheeks as he presses a slow kiss to each fingertip and between your knuckles is also a nice touch. Just lets this face man know he's on the right track or whatever.

Mikey🎨🧡

•Your cheeks. This bundle of affection will give you some sugar anytime, anywhere without hesitation. You can not stop it. It is inevitable. He's so close to you all the time anyway that it just seems second nature to have his cheek squished against you somewhere. He also just loves getting close enough to see your eyes. They really are like windows to the soul, and you have a soul he wouldn't mind getting lost while exploring. So it makes sense to decorate those “windows” with some “Angel Kisses” (He does put the angel in MichelANGELo after all) You know. Just while he's close to you like this. Never mind the heat from your cheeks underneath his hands as he tries to hold you still for your daily barrage of affection is comforting to his scared hands. Never mind that at all.

•Your tummy. There is something incredibly magical about the way you giggle shriek as you try to writhe away when he kisses your tummy. It’s the kind of laugh that means you are happy and in the present moment with him and currently the furthest away from something that hurt you. He just wants you happy and hearing that laugh heals something inside his heart. He loves the way your tummy its so squishy underneath his kneading hands and he can't help but bury his face in your soft skin. Be warned you will not escape without some raspberry blown kisses. Mikey ain't letting you leave without being properly adored that is both a threat and a promise.

I wish I had words that could make this better, but all that’s coming to mind is an internet bear hug and the words of my all time favorite redhead “There’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. Speaking of words, I was also wondering if I might try my hand at a request? I was thinking specifically for Rise Raph or Leo but I’m always down for artistic free rein so do where ever the creativity flows.

But AnYhOo, I was wondering how the boys would respond to a friend who was confident in their love language of words of affirmation? Like without thinking, drops the most heartfelt and specific compliments or “I’m grateful I have you in my life” kind of stuff at the drop of a hat? I think it would be funny since unfortunately the boys are very under appreciated verbally to meet someone who was fully confident in their ability to affirm people with their words and mean it.

Does that make any sense?😅 If you can’t tell I ramble a bit, but all I want to do is tell my boys why I believe in them, help them see all the good they do, and be their biggest supporter. They deserve nothing but goodness and overwhelming love and by golly, I will give it to them any way I can or my name isn’t aggressive affection 😆👊🏼🧡

Considering everything that has already come to light concerning the "election", yes. I am not happy and I will let it be known on the freaking rooftops. For reference, I come from a family of nationalists where I'm from, with my biological mother being one of the prime supporters and I... will fully admit that I staunchly disapprove of it. Being proud of your country's accomplishments is one thing. Using it to degrade other people who felt like they had no other choice but to flee? No. Hell no. You do not step on other people and cheat because you think your cause is right. So, as I said, fuck the government. I will continue being myself and not be the baby-making machine this nation wants me to be.

... Sorry for that. If you tend to ramble, I tend to get heated whenever discussing people's rights. ANYWAY.

I was wondering how to go about this request and I think this might be better as a headcanon segment. If someone would like me to elaborate on any of them later on or provide proof as to what I'm advancing, you are more than welcome to ask, but for now, here goes nothing. Warning, I'm going to go about this in a weird order, but it'll make sense after they're all there.

How the Rise Boys Would React to Words of Affirmation.

Michelangelo Hamato

As someone who dishes out compliments himself, Mikey would be the one to blink at you, chuckle, and blush a little, at least if it was something concerning him directly, like saying you're grateful he exists or his artwork since it isn't something he gets this often for. His cooking and clothing choices though would get parading and maybe a little peacocking because of his genuine confidence in those skills, you would need to push a little harder to get him silent and shy.

Either way, expect him to bounce back and throw some compliments your way real quick. Why? 'Cause it's his love language as well! Hell, expect him to turn it into a competition because he will not be outdone. No sir. And if you end up looking like a tomato by the end of it? Well... you started it, didn't you?

Donatello Hamato

Hope he doesn't have anything in his hands or it will be dropped. Doesn't matter where the words go with his boy, if he so much as recognizes the honesty, and he will, he will go silent and stare at you like you've grown another head. Not because you've hurt him, but because he doesn't understand. Spontaneity and genuineness, at least when it comes to words, is Mikey's thing. You are a stranger to his family and you're not only complimenting him but being genuine about it? Does not compute.

He will adapt, though, and at first, he might ask about what you think of his work. It'll be cautious and he will absolutely downplay it, but he will start fishing for compliments while enjoying your presence. And if you show interest in any of his special interests? Consider yourself his best friend. He will bug you at impossible hours before waiting for you to wake up so you can both talk.

Raphael Hamato

The big guy, the oldest, the one who had to raise this merry band of idiots. I don't think he would drop anything, but he would blink at you and look behind himself several times before he even acknowledges that you're talking to him. From there, expect him to blush and hesitate. He's not used to compliments, poor guy, and even less when they're spoken with honesty and kindness.

Surprisingly, though, I think it would calm him. Reassure him. He doesn't hear often or from anyone that he's doing or has done a great job, so, for a moment, it would silence his brain. He wouldn't bug you as often as Donnie would, but if ever he had a big decision to make, he might either ask for input or just want to make sure he took the right one.

Leonardo Hamato

... Eugh, boy. Where do I start with this guy? With the Face Man, the one who's used to lying, the one who nearly took out the planet on accident because he wanted to show off his skill? The initial reaction would be a simple one, use your words and embellish them. Make them more grandiose. Build himself up as high as possible. If it makes you laugh? Great! If it upsets you? Well, you're the one who said something so you only have yourself to blame.

Eventually, though, he would fall quiet. He would listen and ask you if you mean it. Saying you do will get you more silence and little else. He might even walk away. Why? He's waiting for the other shoe to drop. He's waiting for you to get angry at him. Change your mind. Everyone does. So why wouldn't you?

Pretty Random Turtle Thunks: Baby Clothes

Scenario: You’ve just handed said Rise Aged Up Turtle a tiny baby outfit. Whether your child, a niece, nephew, sibling or just some infant you saved from the streets, just know there is now an itty bitty baby human within your general vicinity you are now taking care of

*Rating: Milk🥛(aka for anybody)*

Raph🧸❤️: Tears. Just. So. Many. Tears. Makes Niagara Falls look like a trickle. This man is literally loosing it, hand over mouth can’t stop staring at the ridiculously tiny piece of fabric in his hand. It’s barely the size of his fingers.

…Sweet Pizza Supreme in the Sky…

ItS BaReLy ThE sIzE oF hIs FinGeRs.

You find him hunkered down in his room immediately after the news, surrounded by the remains of over a dozen, half started knitting projects, tears still on his face as he tries to fathom the very idea that something can be that small.

He’s been trying to knit the perfect baby blanket, but his anxieties start to take over every time he starts over. He worries the material is gonna itch the baby’s skin. Is the baby gonna suffocate if the stitches are too tight? Will the baby drown in fabric if he makes it too big? Will the baby get too cold if it isn’t big enough? etc etc etc…

You’re gonna have to talk him down a little bit because he’s gonna work himself into a frenzy getting ready for the baby.

Donnie🤔🟪: Just looks at said article of clothing. Looks back up at you, face slightly pinching in confusion, then back at the outfit. Cue a slow curious thumbing of the fabric. Slow blink. Body suddenly freezes. Eyes comically begin to grow wide. (Give him a second, give him a second; he’s computing) Before his head suddenly snaps back up to stare at you and then almost frantically back down at the garment as the realization hits. There’s no outwardly facial reaction, but the tell tale sign is that his hand fumbles for his goggles as suddenly he’s going full inspection mode.

You are more or less not surprised when the article is met with immediate disdain.

Cue Donnie spending hours researching the best materials for baby clothes. They’re going to be 100% organic and made of the softest and most sterile fabrics he can find. And if he can’t find any brands that suit his high class fancy, well he’ll just design a machine to do the job himself. He’s not the founder of Genius Tech for nothing.

This small infant will be associated with HIM of all people and a such deserves nothing but the highest quality. The best of the best for the best. Obviously.

Your child will be the most finely dressed child of the century after being in the hands of Donnie for more than 5 seconds. There will be a fashion show. Period. Being a baby never looked this good. 

Leo✨💠: Realization that slowly unfurls like a blossom in the morning sun. This turtles face is so bright with excitement when it finally clicks that he literally becomes the sun for like solid minute it’s just that big. However that smile immediately folds into that signature cat smirk that warns of nothing but impending deviousness.

Your child is in trouble, for it now lies in the hands of an evil mastermind, hell bent on causing tomfoolery that will last through out the generations to follow.

All the dad jokes. All of the horrible groan-inducing, eye-rolling, awful puns. All the stupid slapstick, low brow kind of humor are now practically plastered to your child’s clothing. He thinks he’s the funniest person alive and will do everything his power to infect said child with the same vein of humor.

Also, be warned of leaving your child alone with this man, because if left to his devices for too long, you will receive an unfathomable amount of memes and edited baby photos of your child and Leo in hilarious re-enactments scenes.  

Mikey🎨🧡: Pretty sure a missile just went off Because the squeal of excitement that erupted from this turtle was the only warning you got, before you were all but tackled in a hug like a rugby player, pretty much burst not only the sound barrier but your ear drums as well.

It’s literally oozing out of him and man practically reverts into a child himself as the foundation of curiosity is exploded, and you are all but drowned in a relentlessly loving sea of questions. He wants to know EVERYTHING. All the time! Because he just - he just -he just can’t wait! All this time to prepare for another little bundle of joy!  It jumpstarts his creative spark in a way you have NEVER seen before. He now spends his time religiously spent in three locations: locked in close and glued to your hip, a culinary cabaret in which you are very much the honored guest who just has to taste test his newest recipe (your taste buds have never been this happy) or in his art studio working on just one more thing for the baby.

He’s designed his own baby clothes, painted more than enough scenes for multiple nurseries to be completely filled, and even written a couple of his own baby adventure comic books that he is just dying to read the awaited little one.

He’s beyond ecstatic at the thought that there’s now something tinier than him that he can help take care of and love. 

Bottom line: Both you and your baby are about to be welcomed into the arms of the most excited and loving family you will ever have the privilege of knowing. Just…good luck trying to get their arms off of you. Because they will never and I mean EVER let either one of you go. That is both their threat and their promise!

~#18 Favorite villain eh? Oooo this one is tricky but I’d have to say it’s a toss up between Big Mama and Baron Draxum. Big Mama because she’s the type of person you can’t keep tabs on and therefore have no idea how to engage. I also love how she speaks not going to lie.

Brain Draxum (specifically in fanfics) is ruthless in trying to achieve his goals and it’s terrifying to see the negative side of passion. Luckily for me tho, we get a redemption arc and he’s on the turtles side now As A DaD! Well…sorta… and you know I’m always here for found family.

Do want to give a shout out to the classic 80’s Shredder and Kraang because they have the most old married couple kind of relationship that always makes me laugh.

~#29 One of my headcannon eh? Ooooo girl you know I have so many. But one that’s always stuck with me is Mikey (no matter the iteration) is actually the most effective and skilled ninja of the whole team. Leo is disciplined, Donnie is a problem solver and Raph is strong, but Mikey because of his out of the box thinking and natural connection abilities is the most adaptable to all situations and therefore knows how to interact with his environment.

It really frustrates me that his brothers don’t seem to recognize this, so he just willing plays the fool because that’s everything everyone expects from him.

He also canonly has the most successful kills out of all the brothers which is interesting to me.

Figured it was high time to introduce myself and thought it would be funny to do so by associating things I’ve actually said to the ROTTMNT boys.

Raph🧸❤️: *grabbing you by the shoulders and looking you dead in the eye* I’ve got a big heart ok? That means there’s a LOT of love in it, so you are going to flippin let me love you, IN THE WAY I FEEL YOU DESERVE, or else I’ma start throwing things. Something like a chair…or compliments… I don’t know, haven’t decided yet.

Random Turtle Thunks: Kisses

*adjusts my sunglasses* It'd be softboi hours folks. Tonight I'm thinking about the Rise Boys and their favorite places to kiss you.

•Forehead Kisses. Lingering ones right at the tip of your hairline. It's often because its the only place he can reach without having to shift too far down. Often brushing your hair back, cradling your cheek in the palm of his hand and tilting your head back juuuuust a little to get that perfect angle for a small smooch. The type of kisses that are full of tender promises and small wholesome moments where he just longs to be soft with you.

•Your shoulder. Chaste presses of his lips to your skin to the crook of your neck. This young Atlas knows a little something about carrying the weight of the world and often that weight settles on the shoulders. These type of kisses serve as a reminder that he understands the struggle, the weight and promises that you don't have to carry it all by yourself anymore. A somewhat protective kiss, reminding you that nothing can hurt you when you're this close to him. That he's here for you, he’ll never leave you and will forever have your back.

Donnie 🤔🟪

•Your nose. I really don't see Donnie being really big into kissing. Like think about it. Kissing is literally just the process of swapping saliva. How uNsAnItArY. *shudders* “Just where has your mouth been? Did you even brush your teeth?!” That being said, a quick peck to your nose is a simple way to fulfill the “touch of the day” box without having to get unnecessarily close and personal. There is work still to be done after all. Not to mention the cute little face you make when you go slightly crossed-eyed at his affectionate gesture is somewhat endearing. It is a very understandable reaction after all. He too would go speechless at such attention from a genuis like himself.

•Behind the corner of your jaw. Donnie doesn't like kissing. That being said, if he is going to engage in such an act, he's going to want to do it right. Never mind him looking up the most sensitive parts of the human body to make sure he plants his affection in the most effective locations. Nevermind that at all. Besides, kissing here that little bundle of nerves seems to do the trick most adequately.

Leo✨💠

•Your lips. “My Lady, if the kisses are words, c’mere. I’ma give you a speech.” No. Like seriously. I know Leo is considered the “medical expert” of the family, but the amount of times this turtle has given you some serious mouth-to-mouth should be illegal. In all honesty though, it really does mean something special to him. For this smooth talking turtle who always knows just what to say, it’s a way for him to shut up and learn how to put some action behind those words. For once, he wants to show you that he means what he says. Because for all the silliness, it was never a joke, his feeling for you.

•Your knuckles. Leo is a one-stinking suave gentleman when he wants to be, and he's not going to let you forget it. Not to mention it’s an easy, inconspicuous way to keep you close so long your hand is entertained with his. Not that he worries when you're out of reach or anything. The cute little increase of color right there on your cheeks as he presses a slow kiss to each fingertip and between your knuckles is also a nice touch. Just lets this face man know he's on the right track or whatever.

Mikey🎨🧡

•Your cheeks. This bundle of affection will give you some sugar anytime, anywhere without hesitation. You can not stop it. It is inevitable. He's so close to you all the time anyway that it just seems second nature to have his cheek squished against you somewhere. He also just loves getting close enough to see your eyes. They really are like windows to the soul, and you have a soul he wouldn't mind getting lost while exploring. So it makes sense to decorate those “windows” with some “Angel Kisses” (He does put the angel in MichelANGELo after all) You know. Just while he's close to you like this. Never mind the heat from your cheeks underneath his hands as he tries to hold you still for your daily barrage of affection is comforting to his scared hands. Never mind that at all.

•Your tummy. There is something incredibly magical about the way you giggle shriek as you try to writhe away when he kisses your tummy. It’s the kind of laugh that means you are happy and in the present moment with him and currently the furthest away from something that hurt you. He just wants you happy and hearing that laugh heals something inside his heart. He loves the way your tummy its so squishy underneath his kneading hands and he can't help but bury his face in your soft skin. Be warned you will not escape without some raspberry blown kisses. Mikey ain't letting you leave without being properly adored that is both a threat and a promise.

Oh this…this…is darling. Your style is immaculate, hon. Like looking so respectfully right now 👀👀👀

TMayNT Day 31: Redraw of day one. (Original prompt was: the turtles in you favourite style.)

Ok there are so many ways my brain is trying to be critical BUT I am proud of myself for finishing one of these challenges, no matter what. I've tried and failed to commit to so many projects.

Just to clarify: my own style is NOT my favourite style. I am far too self critical for that. I just entirely ignored the prompt ^^

So for one thing I did want to de-centre Leo a bit, cause the original day 1 prompt was favourite turtle and I DO love them all, Leo just has a special place to me. I also wanted them to not be floating.

Now I do prefer some parts of the original, mainly the simplicity. I do want to try and aim for a more simplified style in the future (if I can stop defaulting to the style I have atm). I might have gone a little overboard with the lighting on the more recent one. STFU up brain, I did not get worse. But it was fun. I think it's good to explore and practice parts of the art process even if it isn't something you want to stick to. I do think I learnt a lot of stuff and made some improvements over the month.

-collapses- Okay, This is a project I've been needing to finish because I noticed a number of the colors from @pluvionpc's color pallets were Season 1 exclusives, or were tinted by the scene color overlay and thus not the true bases. (No offense to you man, you did what you could and without them, this wouldn't exist) So my dumbass downloaded all the eps and went through them to find the neutral lighting shots to pull colors from. CJ's were hardest because I didn't have access to the movie at the time, so had to rely on screenshots and concept art. I was originally gonna add Karai to this, but decide I'd dragged ass enough on this. Note on Draxum's magic: That seems to be his main, but it does change color based on the spell? Like the portal to pull Karai out was gold.... Also, you would not believe how much it pissed me off to find out Drax's nose and lips were two different colors, just JFC. Font used originally was @phoebepheebsphibs's rise mimic font, but eventually, I found the Fido Regular font that @thelamebat pointed out and used that for Draxums.
