I’m on bluesky now but like
It’s so intimidating, I have no clue what I’m doing over there. It’s like diving into the deep end without floaties for the first time after having your only experience with a pool being an inflatable one for small dogs. I can safely yell into the void here.
But I’m gonna try to stick with it. I wanna be a semi-professional artist at some point. I need to branch out if I wanna be seen.
Just wish there was a guide book written for me that spelled out in no uncertain terms how to make friends as someone who is both autistic and an artist. How do y’all do it? Why does it seem so easy for everyone but me?

Student: Ugh. Leave me alone.
Me, a week later: The project was due, please turn it in. *Sends email and gives them a little list of all their missing assignments on a sticky note*
Student: Don’t worry about it
Me, another week later: *Gives them a zero*
Student: Why is my grade a 25?! Why didn’t you tell me all this was due
Me: ……………..
