Aemond: Where are you going?
Luke: To train, if no one else is going to make my legs shake might as well do it myself
Aemond: Give me a chanc-
Aemond was so interesting to me as a character (kinda by face value and mostly the crumbs of delusion I own).
Like, there was a silent command he gave to the room and yet it was like a 5 year old getting their mother’s attention. It was the blinded hate towards so many things and yet being a coward about others (mostly about himself)
So: idea dump: the dance has not started yet. Aemond is forced to marry Rhaenyra’s daughter (the logistics of that do summersaults in my head but bear with me. Let’s say she is Jace’s twin). She is raised in the castle even as her mother leaves to Dragonstone. Develops a very silent way to communicate with her husband.
Simple: they talk to each other once they have made some sort of contact (he holds out his hand for her to take or she lightly reaches for his shoulder) always with space for refusal. The clear boundaries they made always kept. He doesn’t bother her, she doesn’t bother him.
And then the little things begin to shine. She willingly wears dark colors, somewhat matching him. She was forced to match more to Alicent but I guess rebellion comes in very weird ways. The little pins with blue sapphires.
King is dying, the fight breaks out and she goes to Jace. Tells him: “The only reason I don’t fear death is because I know how I die. My husband will be the one to send me to the stranger”
