And you know what saddens me? I've never seen Australian tragedies trending here on this website. I mean it's been going on for months and only now does it seem to really be getting recognized, even if it is only at #9.

And I'm going to be honest with you here - the internet, and media in general is so American centric, this website being no exception. You'd think that an entire continent being on fire for several months with devastating consequences would have more recognition, but no, it really doesn't. The most notes I've ever seen on a post about the Australian fires is at least a few thousand, and that's about it.

So just... please. If you can, with this post or any other post in regards to the fires going on down here, reblog. Because the only thing that should be spreading like wildfire, is a post about a burning country...

But yeah. The transphobia is why we're boycotting her.

Look. All I'm saying is if you're going to make a post about why we don't like JK Rowling. Say "we aren't going to support JK Rowling because of her racism and transphobia."

Not to mention. How shitty of a writer must you be if you can't create b your own myths and legends? The fact that she's gotta steal from others completely exemplifies how shitty of an author she is.

Recently a couple of the autistic kids I work with have inspired me with openly, unapologetically owning it.

I have so much respect for them for being able to voice those things! It’s inspired me to try harder to do that instead of masking until I meltdown because I’m so scared of how people will react.

Let this be proof to people who said that once the election was over America was gonna go back to normal and not be racist anymore.

The people who voted for Trump the first time aren't just gonna sudenly stop being racist. They've gotten the exposure and validation that they needed and met other trump supporters to organize stuff like this.

This isn't a today issue. This has always been an issue. Trump just had the balls to be open and now his supporters have the courage to not keep their racism behind closed doors.
