More of a positive question - What do you like about the world?

I like that there are animals that I can interact with.

Meh I really liked your blog but then I read that you listen to burzum .. c'mon man you can't be for real supporting a literal murderer .. sorry but unfollowed :/

It's fine if you don't want to follow me anymore; honestly, I don't really understand why you're even sharing this with me. But to your point, I'd like to add that it's always been a rather troublesome point of argument for me. Certainly Varg Vikernes is a monster from a human point of view and I can't relate to his ideological thinking, nor would I try to justify his atrocities in any way, because I don't want to and simply can't; But his songs, which are completely free of his ideology and other thinking, I find beautiful and I appreciate his talent in this area. Attached is a text passage from the song "Dunkelheit" by Burzum:

When night falls she cloaks the world in impenetrable darkness. A chill rises from the soil and contaminates the air suddenly life has new meaning.

Personally, I am able to look at art separately from the artist, but I also understand if this is not possible for some people.

So what is the vegan solution? Should we treat animals like humans and humans like animals in every regard to make it fair and equal?

In this regard, I think one must recognize that equality, in its truest sense, is not about sameness but about acknowledging the inherent dignity of all beings in their distinctiveness. To treat humans and animals as equals in every regard would be to overlook the profound differences that define us - our capacity for reason, our self-awareness, our ability to shape and reflect upon the world in ways that transcend mere survival. Yet, in other ways, we are kin, sharing this earth and its fragile beauty, bound by the same breath of life, vulnerable to the same forces of nature.

To say that humans and animals should be treated identically is to misunderstand the nature of equality itself. Animals, by their very being, cannot be held to the same moral standards, nor can they bear the same responsibilities that humanity shoulders. Our power to quite literally rule over everything in this world places us in a different role; not one of dominance, but of stewardship.

For me the question was never about elevating animals to human standards or reducing humans to mere creatures, but about finding harmony in the difference, recognizing that we are not separate from the natural world, but a part of it and therefore responsible for it.

I read that you dropped "name the trait" in reference to your veganism.... Peter Singer ... Veganism and hatred of the disabled - how do they go together? I thought you vegans are against suffering and want to prevent it, so why this latent and unfounded hatred? :)

First of all, who are "you vegans"? You are communicating with me, an individual, and not an imaginary, homogeneous group that follows the same dogma and thinks the same thoughts in every aspect of life. Such a portrayal of a group already reveals a lot and takes away any desire for further discussion from the outset. Nevertheless, I will still address the rest of your message.

Yes, I have already presented "name the trait" as a kind of verifiability for logical consistency in the context of veganism, and I am also familiar with Peter Singer and his philosophy. Furthermore, I am, of course, aware of the criticism of his preference utilitarianism, especially in my home country, which is not surprising given the country's history; historically, Germany cannot dissociate itself from the accusations of eugenics during the National Socialist era.

Without wanting to unnecessarily deepen this discussion, I would like to ask you whether you have also familiarized yourself with his writings and philosophy or whether, like many, you simply repeat what is commonly criticized without delving into it further. That's how your previous message comes across to me. Personally, your standpoint seems to deliberately misinterpret his writings to build a semblance of an argument, if it can even be called that. Your attempt to introduce a kind of strawman in the form of the allegedly homogeneous group of vegans does not really cast your message in a better light.

I am happy and willing to discuss philosophy and other topics at any time, but only if I see a certain meaningfulness and a real exchange in it. In your case, I see neither.

And by the way: Perhaps you should ask me about my reasons for veganism before arguing against it and assuming that Peter Singer's philosophy is my sole reason, because - and I can tell you this much - it is not.

You should do something about the calluses on your hands ... it's disgusting and no woman likes that 🤮🤮

They don't bother me; they're just a by-product of the sport I do. I've yet to meet a woman who was bothered by them

If you could change a thing on your body what would that be?

Arising from my perfectionism, I would probably want to change many things. But if I could change one thing in the short term, then I'd adjust the ratio between my forearms and biceps/triceps. It's not that my biceps/triceps are small but my forearms genetically seem to just grow at a much faster rate.

Walls

The walls that I forged, standing through years,

crumbling away, dismissing past fears.

Each one demolished — by my own hand,

at Love's command, none could withstand.

Is that your cat in the black and white photo? Soooo adorable 😍 By the way you have beautiful hands .. hope it does not sound weird but would you consider posting a picture of them? 😁🤭

No, it's not my cat, but I'll be happy to pass along your compliment to her. Thank you (even though I don't really understand what is supposed to be beautiful about them), I think I can do that.

Good evening, I presume. It seems you have a lot of people who criticize you, when you seem to have much talent linguistically and artistically. Do you have any other special skills, etc. mechanically inclined, can you cook, do you enjoy form

of volunteering? Perhaps you can shed some light on these comments that target you for insinuating you are a one dog show with your other talents and interests. Just a thought :)

Good evening. I would not necessarily call it criticism, because something can be drawn from criticism and in the best case an improvement can be derived from it.

I think your message is meant nicely, but I don't mind if people want to see me the way these anonymous messages portray me. Could I change their opinion of me? Maybe. But that effort is not worth it to me to convince people I don't care about.
