We didn't get many Lloyd and Nya moments this season, but in the few seconds of screentime they shared the writers made sure to remind us that these two are absolute besties.

I think it's mostly because Perry is technically paid to visit Doofenshmirtz every day and listen to his evil plans. Yeah, I doubt OWCA expects Perry to provide actual comfort or support for his nemesis, which he does anyway, but it's still his job to stop Doofenshmirtz by whichever means he sees fit. Perry knows when to use force and when to use empathy and that's why I always loved his character.

People who have the "Perry the Platypus is Doofenshmirtz' therapist" headcanon , Do you never had a friend that you think therapists are the only people who listen to you? So fucking sad...

This is what I see whenever Lloyd and Sora are on screen:

German isn't my main language but when I was a kid I used to watch lots of cartoons in German. I think my parents wanted me to learn the language. It was actually the first language in which I ever watched Ninjago, but I haven't done that in over a decade.

Luckily I still understand about 75% of it so I can watch the new episodes early, but that's not what I wanted to say. They kept the same voices, man! 😭 It's been ten years and they sound the same. When I heard Kai and Nya speak I felt like sobbing. Oh, how I missed them and I didn't even know. This is what they sounded like when I first met and fell in love with these characters. I've been following their adventures in English all those years, but hearing them in German again felt like meeting an old friend.

Also, German Sora, Arin and Wyldfyre are perfect and incredibly spot on.

Lloyd: If Nya were to jump of a cliff, she would have done her due diligence regarding the height of the cliff, the depth of the water, and the angle of entry. So yes, if you see Nya jump off a cliff, by all means, jump off a cliff.

Kai: You jump off a cliff.

Lloyd: Gladly, provided Nya did first.
