In The Continued Effort To Sexualize Autism. Consider The Intersection Of Free Use And Autistic Joy.

In the continued effort to sexualize autism. Consider the intersection of free use and autistic joy.

A group of butches running a train on a cute sub as she infodumps to them, only pausing to orgasm or get some water, occasionally getting her helpful reminders of her last point when butch cock knocks her train of thought off course.

Comfy gloryholes that restrain a sub’s mouth and hips so they can be fucked on both sides, but leave their hands free to stim on some nice fluffy material, always in reach. A wall of sluts with the ambient sounds of babbling echolalia and slurping/gagging.

A nonverbal free use slut in a comfy hoodie and an easy pamphlet of do’s and don’ts for any takers, silently shifting down their sweats and presenting their holes for their current public partner, getting fucked against the wall of an alley or railed over a table in just the way they like without needing to say a word. And of course, comfy hoodie stays on during gangbangs.

shaking six year old me by the shoulders YOU WERE RIGHT. YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT LOVE AND ABOUT FAIRNESS AND ABOUT SHARING IS CARING. YOU WERE RIGHT. THE ADULTS DON’T KNOW ANY MORE ABOUT TRUTH THAN YOU DO. KEEP BELIEVING IN THE FAIRIES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GARDEN. NOTHING IS “JUST THE WAY IT IS”. I AM SORRY THEY EVER CONVINCED YOU TO FEEL SHAME. YOU ARE REAL AND A PART OF THIS WORLD. YOU WERE RIGHT.

This is a PHENOMENAL little paper

The general point is that tests educators were using to evaluate linguistic competency were highly artificial (e.g. ordering the child to talk), and therefore didn't capture the creativity & complexity within the children's language pic.twitter.com/gGvaerGRra

— May Helena Plumb (@mayhplumb) April 21, 2022

This is a fantastic linguistics paper – the researcher observed the artificiality and social pressure imposed on kids when they're asked to produce language on the spot, so instead had them talk to a rabbit in a room with a tape recorder. He found that when talking organically, without an adult authority figure around, their speech was exponentially more sophisticated, socially fluid, and creative.

As someone in the twitter thread points out, this has obvious implications for situations in which cued language production is used in diagnosis e.g. for autism. I'd add that (while this particular paper's remit is limited to children) it should also make us think about situations where adults are pressured to speak by authority figures: court hearings, police encounters, benefit assessments, asylum interviews, etc. If the presence of power hampers your ability to advocate for yourself, these are all rigged propositions.

Anyway, you can read the whole piece here (taken from a talk on his research, so it's very readable):

https://betsysneller.github.io/pdfs/Labov1966-Rabbit.pdf

e: sorry, I should add the context that this is a language study situated in Hawaii in 1970 so there are also some very significant racial socio-linguistic politics discussed here that might be distressing to read about. I don't want to discount that aspect of the power dynamic studied here either.

If Kraata can reach Matoran-level intelligence in their final stage of development, could a Makuta create a fake Matoran or Toa that was just a sapient Kraata in a Matoran shaped mech suit?

I love talking with neurotypical people about my executive dysfunction because I'm like "yeah there's this invisible wall in my head that I'm incapable of getting past no matter what I do and it stops me from doing things" and they're like what the actual fuck

you know that you don’t have to be special or achieve anything great in order to justify your existence, right? it’s okay to be average. it’s okay to be mediocre. it’s okay to not be special. you deserve to exist and i love you<3
