honestly, if you are straight, you definitely shouldn’t refer to lgbt+ anything as “sin”, even if you’re jokingly saying it. i get that the phrase, along with words like “trash” are popular on tumblr nowadays, but it’s actually very disrespectful and homophobic to refer to gay people with terms like that. it ties to the origins of homophobia, when homophobic straight people actually do call gay people “sinners” and everything of the sort. and that’s not okay!

think of nicer, cuter words! “trash” is not a compliment, and “sinning” is not a cutesy way to describe gay people
