Internship Completion Review at Diné College

As my internship at Diné College comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on this incredible learning experience. It has truly been a pleasure working with a dedicated individual(s), getting involved in various projects, and contributing to the college’s mission. Though marketing and communications were not initially part of my core focus, I quickly realized how valuable and insightful it was to gain hands-on experience in this area. The opportunity to work in this field exceeded my expectations and has given me a broader perspective on the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the media industry.

Looking ahead, I am eager to pursue my long-term goals in the media industry, with a particular focus on team engagement and leadership. I am excited to work in environments where collaboration thrives, where ideas are shared openly, and where I can contribute meaningfully to the success of a creative team. Additionally, I’m eager to expand my technical skills, particularly in the realm of software development and editing tools, which will be essential for my growth as a media professional.

The next step in my journey is to explore the dynamic and innovative field of Virtual Production. With its cutting-edge technologies and creative potential, I’m ready to dive in and take on new challenges. Let’s go!

Campaign Progress Update:

We are excited to provide an update on the progress of our campaign. While we’re moving at a steady pace, we are seeing positive momentum as we work towards our next big milestone.

For the month of January, we successfully raised $10,000 in donations. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support and generosity of everyone who has contributed so far. As we head into February, our goal is to raise another $10,000, which will bring us closer to completing the milestone and ensuring we’re on track to start filming.

Though our GoFundMe campaign hasn’t officially been great yet, we want to assure you that we have other sources of funding lined up. We’re also pursuing grants and selling goods to keep the momentum going. Rest assured, we’re committed to reaching our financial goals, and your support makes all the difference.

Looking ahead, we aim to reach our target by April, so we can kick off filming around the end of May or early June. With your ongoing support, we’re confident we’ll hit these targets and continue moving forward.
