Finally posting the art I made for @divorcedwife ‘s art challenge/discord that I mentioned awhile ago. I made more art, but I’m posting the ones that I liked the most with a little description or something on what my ideas for them were
This one was the Bard Fairy prompt. I made it like this off of a little creature I made out of cups once when I was bored. It has paper in there and might work as a maraca, I never tried.
This one was for the Winter Valet prompt. One person told me that in a language they speak (I think their first? I don’t remember exactly, it was a while ago) that valet translates to something involving playing cards, I took this opportunity to make something playing card related as I like them. Winter theming is obvious but also did Ace of hearts as it is all by itself.
This prompt was modern star. If I can make something Miku related, I will make it Miku. Also made it modern art looking and had fun with triangles (only shape I used)
Something similar happened recently while I was playing Elphelt against ai opponents (I was specifically fighting against each character I have). I forgot who this was against, I think it was Ramlethal.
A couple days ago I was playing guilty gear against random ai opponents and it said this about how I played. Not only did I not know it could say this but I think guilty gear called me a deranged inhuman sicko.

So first, let's clear a common misconception: no, President Abraham Lincoln did not love Black people nor see them as human equals. At best he was centrist about it (though, even his implication that 'exceptional' Black men ought to vote got him assassinated).

If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do, it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union...I have here stated my purpose according to my view of official duty; and I intend no modification of my oft-expressed personal wish that all men everywhere could be free."
The "freeing of slaves" after the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 was meant to kneecap the economic and military powers of the seceded South. Lettuce stop making a white savior figure out of Lincoln, or thinking that my people's shackles were unchained via anything other than desperate war strategy and extreme violence. Think on that, for a moment.
That being said!
But not everyone in Confederate territory would immediately be free. Even though the Emancipation Proclamation was made effective in 1863, it could not be implemented in places still under Confederate control. As a result, in the westernmost Confederate state of Texas, enslaved people would not be free until much later. Freedom finally came on June 19, 1865, when some 2,000 Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas. The army announced that the more than 250,000 enslaved black people in the state, were free by executive decree. This day came to be known as "Juneteenth," by the newly freed people in Texas.
Consider going through the Smithsonian website to learn about Juneteenth! Recognize why it's an actual day of freedom, versus July 4th and the independence of a select few.
It's Juneteenth yall. And I'm not letting this day go unmarked.
Black people fight for everybody. We stand in solidarity with women, lgbt people, poor people all over the world of every skin color and background. Every religion and nationality.
Today, stand with us. Be with us. Tell a black person you love them. Hug a black person (with consent). Ask that hot black girl out today. Make a black person smile. Black lives matter to everybody and you matter to us.

I'm in an art club where every week we have a new random prompt and we all post together what we drew on Fridays, this is the blog where we reblog everything posted to tumblr if you want to see how others interpreted the prompt @theweeklyprompt
if my real life had a HUD explicitly showing me how all the little things i do every day are contributing to my big picture goals and the growth of my skills well then maybe it would be easier to convince myself to do them
Real observations since I started wearing a wizard hat daily:
- Brim is so wide that I stay BONE DRY taking walks in the rain
- Brim can be positioned to block the sun from ever getting in my eyes AND keeping it off the back of my neck
- The pointed top part creates an air pocket, keeping my head from getting hot or squishing my hair as it might in a ball cap
- Hat can easily be pulled down over the tips of my ears without looking dumb, protecting them from wind chill
- Strangers say they like my hat, giving me the chance to tell them that I am a wizard
- When you’re wearing a wizard hat, ALL OTHER FASHION CHOICES become secondary, allowing you to branch out with style
Embrace ego death. Stay protected from all elements. Wear a wizard hat.

One thing I remember that shows how the game treats Wyll is through the dialogue you can have after he gains horns. In the dialogue you can have with him after he is tortured in hell (what the game says is happening to him when he gains his horns) I was unable to choose a single option that was in any way nice, the best the game allowed me to do was be somewhat passive aggressive. At least when I played this scene (the game is changed a lot so there is a slim chance this could have been changed but it is for Wyll so I highly doubt that any change did happen) every single dialogue option except for one blamed him or said he deserved to be tortured in hell (yet again what the game tells you happens in that scene) for saving an innocent woman, not a single option asked him if he needed help or was able to comfort him.

Something that immensely pisses me off is using punk as an identity label. It's not, it is not an identity (I'd go as far as to say that adopting it as an identity actively harms you becuase it locks you in the assumption that everything you do is righteous and correct). You don't have to project it onto every single thing that you do or like, you don't have to project it onto fictional characters, Hello Kitty is not punk that bitch doesn't know what a government is. Imagine if we did that with a different adjective like idfk; knowledgable. If you called a dumbass knowledgeable it would be factually incorrect, but a dumbass doesn't have to be knowledgeable to be worth your love. Hatsune Miku doesn't need to be punk to be worth your love. Baking cupcakes with your mom isn't punk, but it doesn't have to be in order to be worth your time. You don't have to justify everything you do with the word punk, it's not a synnonym for cool or based. It has a very specific meaning. You know, like most words. Why are you kneeling in front of a word, and that's not to mention that ''not punk'' is not the opposite of punk. An action can be outside of the punk-facist scale, like fuckin watering your plants, and doing it doesn't make you less punk or anything, you simply have a life outside of politics. You can live that life. You're allowed. For Fucks Sake.

okay I've been biting my tongue on this one a bit but the odds of any money you give to a uk trans or especially LGBT charity reaching a single uk transfem is vanishingly unlikely. the primary "resource" these orgs provide is jobs for trans people who can make it in a professional environment, and the vast majority of trans hires are tme (and thus unaffected by the judgement!).
if you know a charity run by transfems take a punt but otherwise please donate to fundraisers instead.

I fucking hate that the general response to RFK Jr's eugenist take on autistic people is "autistic people do pay taxes, autistic people do work, autistic people do date!"
Some autistic people don't and that shouldn't make them less worthy of life. Some autistic people do need constant help and support and that shouldn't make them less worthy of life.
Once again we're falling in the right wing trap of :
They make a hateful, fascist statement
Instead of focusing on the fact that it is hateful and fascist we try to show them that they are factually wrong
We throw our own allies and the most vulnerable of us under the bus in the process
We legitimise an only slightly less hateful, fascist view as we go
They have completed their goal of making us accept the still hateful, fascist second version, hurrah. What a victory.
Right now what we're getting to with that is that autistic people who can work and pay taxes are okay, and the others aren't. Fuck this shit.
Same thing happens with the people who are being deported ("they have a visa!", "they didn't even have a criminal record!" -> even if they didn't have a visa, even if they did have a criminal record, deporting them and detaining them in what's essentially a concentration camp wouldn't be okay, you absolute tools of fascism.)
