I love that H. G. Wells was basically the origin of science fiction writers pausing their stories to infodump about alien biology or physics.

There's a section of The War of the Worlds where the journalist is stuck in a house with someone so Wells spends pages telling us about how cool and weird Martian biology is, and it's genuinely fascinating. Wells is possibly the father of speculative biology. His conception of the Martians came entirely from extrapolation from the then-novel theories of evolution and germ theory.

People often write off Wells's fiction as kind of boring and old hat, but it still reads really well.

Ok so I was searching the internet for fable stuff as one does, and for some reason I decided to search what the meaning behind a heart under the eye was because I was confused why Reaver has one and I found this.

Now this could mean he’s grieving oakvale and the ‘her’ he refers to in his diary entries. However, if this is the case, why doesn’t he have one in fable 2? considering that it’s been like 200 years since the fall of oakvale.

Now who was alive in fable 2 but isn’t in Fable 3 and who was also very closely associated with Reaver?

-SPOILERS FOR THE FNAF MOVIE-

Watched the Fnaf movie yesterday. I had a few issues with it, but overall it was pretty good.

I think it’s obvious that it isn’t following the game lore which is fine but I really would have liked to see a movie with the original lore. I really did enjoy the film but how cool would it have been to have the big reveal be that Mike was William’s son instead of Vanessa being his daughter.

I don’t know, I just think that Mike being Williams son would have been more impactful rather than it being Vanessa, not to mention giving validity to the theory that has been true for most of the fandom for the better part of 10 years. I really am hoping that the movie is going to be on a different timeline to the games similar to how the books were.

I did really like it though, I give it a solid 8/10. It had its issues true, and there im might be a few decisions made that I don’t agree with, but it was just amazing to see this finally become a film, and it was amazing.

Props to the person who replied to my wishes for Our Flag Means Death s2 with this absolute gem.
