i think their behavior after the race exemplifies this because while carlos immediately turned to congratulate mclaren, you could see charles was mourning something. and it’s not as if he was displaying bad sportsmanship, when they were in the cooldown room and on the podium he congratulated zak and lando, but those moments right after the race you could see he wasn’t even thinking about himself, or his own race, but what the team had lost

this was an absolute beast to put together! i had a feeling i was gonna wanna draw something for max's 4th title but honestly didn't think about it until i was already there in vegas watching the race and basically rushed home to start working on this immediately

sooooo happy i was able to witness his 4th championship in person, definitely not gonna forget that anytime soon!!!!!!!!!
