just thinking about the fact that Jon canonically likes to read nonfiction and watch documentaries but because now he Knows everything it will be pointless to read the nonfiction and watch the documentaries—it will all feel plain and boring and overplayed and that kind of makes me sad.

My brother in Christ do you think that he gave even a single fuck how his Creation would look like? Do you think that a man hit by a God complex so powerful he thought he could—AND HE DID—create a new life out of deceased human parts would actually care about the minor details of “oh but will it be pretty enough? will it fit into current beauty standards?” OF COURSE NOT!! All that mattered to him during the whole time he spent in his stupid lab was that his Creation could actually somehow be alive — and to simulate human life, he thought of giving it at least vague human form. And that was enough at the moment.

Anyone who has read Frankenstein can blame Victor for literally anything else…but this; the exact moment where he was panicked and terrified that after all this time he actually did create a life and how horrible, dangerous and disgusting it suddenly all seemed… I will always defend him for that.

today’s “study” session:

i have a 30 page seminar work for history I have left for last minute so these next few days will be an actual torture. But at least it’s history.

A lot of reading done today. Tomorrow will be starting putting everything together !
