I think what a lot of white people genuinely do not understand is that all kinds of racism is bad. There isn't a ladder marked with "acceptable" and "unacceptable" racism.

- The person purposefully joking about your native name even after you've explained its spelling and pronunciation to them and begged them to use it correctly? Racist

- The person who is "okay with" racial minorities existing but doesn't want to see that portrayed on tv / doesn't feel like representation is necessary? Racist

-And I know. I know how hard it is when you are in a privileged position and you're being asked to care about things you don't know much about. But after someone has pointed it out to you, you better try to change.

- "but these mindsets don't hurt anyone" news flash, they do. Just because someone isn't throwing tear gas at protesters doesn't mean their bigotry isn't harmful!

- Put yourself in our shoes for a moment. How would you feel if someone told you they don't want to see anyone like you in the media they consume? That your identity is too complicated for them and they want to water it down to make it easier?

- Again, this is not targeted towards anybody or a callout post. I'm just asking you to take a very hard look at these little things because they GROW. No one comes out the womb being a white supremacist. These things start small and keep adding up.

they are letting the conservative protesters break windows, scale walls, and blockade buildings because they RESPECT them. they aren’t scared, they would shoot if they were scared. they know these people are the ruling class still, they hold the power. they are white americans and they will get away with acting like unhinged, treasonous fools before a cop lifts a finger to harm one. they may tear gas, but they won’t shoot. they associate these people with the ones who pay their salaries whether true or not. they give more deference and respect to these redneck fascists than they do to peaceful BLM protesters any day of the week. after all, in their minds shooting at a POC is less like shooting at a human than shooting at a white person. you are seeing the juxtaposition between the militaristic responses to the blm protests and this one - white privilege served to your eyes on a silver platter.

While Janus was out helping Logan and the others the reason Remus and Virgil stayed behind was because of Just Dance.

Janus had been the reigning champion for way to long, it was an agreement every time he was out they had to try and beat it.

Not once had they beaten it.

What really rubbed salt in the wound was the fact that when Janus came back he’d always beat his score, just to make sure that it was never beaten.

It infuriates them to no end, they try everytime

Virgil has been caught on numerous occasions staying up all night trying to beat the score

The wii remotes have to be locked away otherwise Remus will try to eat them. so It’s primarily Virgil who has to try and beat it but Remus will step in when Virgil is close to collapsing from exhaustion

The only thing stopping them from Getting Roman to help is pride

Remus refuses and Virgil doesn’t want to make Roman’s ego any bigger by asking for help.

They also know if Roman finds out Janus is the best they will either team up and be unstoppable or they will tear each other apart

But then Patton arranged a just dance night

it goes about as well as you’d expect, Logan just reads his book, sometimes commenting but mostly ignoring them

Virgil teams up with Remus, Janus goes on his own and Patton and Roman team up.

Janus destroys Roman and it starts

they play all night and well into the morning

There’s shouting and anguished screams when a movie is missed

They both collapse after almost 24 hours for Just Dance

When they wake up there’s a new high sore, much higher then either Roman or Janus’s last high score.

No one admits to the “Crime”

But deep down Remus and Virgil know it was Logan

Because Logan had just wanted to read his book, and was disturbed
