Saw this on Reddit today
Will, who looks at Hannibal... with remorse? Regretting how much time they wasted, how he actually loves to see Hannibal free out of that glass box, his "beautiful" personality not lowered to a wild, bloodthirsty creature.
Will, who can't stand the thought of not being able to hear Hannibal's heartbeats when they come to take him away from him again, who can't stand existing in a world where they don't share blood, breath, touch, warmth, life and death.
Will Graham, who chose Hannibal in death over the rest of the world in life.
10 years ago today, "Secondo" first aired (June 18, 2015).
"Love."
"What your sister made you feel was beyond your conscious ability to control or predict... I would suggest what Will Graham makes you feel is not dissimilar. A force of mind and circumstance."
"Love. He pays you a visit or he doesn't."

"Betrayal and forgiveness are best seen as something more akin to falling in love."
"You cannot control with respect to whom you fall in love."

Here is the song that Hannibal was playing in the clip above:
i love how will graham is jack’s oracle who sits at the crime scenes and just starts having visions
Just rewatched my favorite movie the other day-- still 5 stars. I finally got my sister to watch it with me and she really enjoyed it, but now she won't stop quoting the infamous Italian scene...
Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy, 2004 vs 2025
Mads Mikkelsen in The Hunt (Jagten), 2012
For his performance, Mads received the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor in 2012.
The way Hannibal sees Will, and how Will sees Hannibal.
Their perception of one another for sure, but there's this fact that they reflect each other. Two standing mirrors, face to face: Will sees his own beast within when looking at Hannibal, and Hannibal sees the light he still owns in his soul. The ability to love so intensely, and the state of being comfortably violent. Two aspects of them people mostly assume nonexistent.
I don't think Will ever really knew how he'd be feeling until the very moment he found Hannibal. Sat next to him, watched his face struggling to believe he's really there and he doesn't need to hold onto an imagination of him. Realized what he feels for Hannibal is something more than a twisted codependent friendship. He literally struggles with a huge wave of feelings all during their talk and it's so heartbreaking.
