[2.01 pm] Since morning I have been struggling with focusing on one thing.I did complete today's vector calculus stuff but with that I was also doing the drawing above and watching The wolf of Wall Street. My focus has been all over the place.I need to pull myself together.
***
[7.57 pm] Done with 1 chapter of Analysis 1.It was about Cauchy sequences.I understood the proofs and was able to recreate them on my own. They were not perfect but I did get the gist.
***
[9.18 pm] I am not going to finish the linear algebra chapter that I started. It is hard and I am not going to force myself. The world is not gonna end if I finish it a little late.So taking if slow.I did finish a chapter in group theory .I will do a bit of duolingo and sleep.I am planning on just doing vector calculus tomorrow and do duolingo the rest of the day.

Heya, I hope today treated you well 💛
It's almost 10 pm here and I'm getting ready to go to bed.My day didn't really start well.I was panicking for my coming exams lol but it got better after my classes started at 9.The schedule was very hectic today and I was almost out of energy by 3 when the classes finally got over.I had my lunch and practised my French lessons on duolingo.Later in the evening my boyfriend sent me this beautiful video named as Slow life in French countryside and I loved every bit of It😇.Here is the link if anyone wants to watch it.
Later in the evening after having some fruits for snacks I studied the following stuff
Chemistry half a chapter
Group Theory (Quaternions and Matrix Groups)
10 problems on group theory
I also sat and decorated by bujo planner and planned out my next maths course, Linear algebra.
The day started out on a not so high note but it did end well.
Just hoping that everything works out well in the end.I wish the same to you too as well ♡
Not me listening to this amazing Streets edit while I’m taking my SAT test
// july 🌿
july’s shaping up to be a really busy month! my gold practice expedition was at the start of the month, i’m doing some recruitment for the digital leaders group at school, we break up next week and then i’m going camping and straight on holiday! i did actually have a good time on my expedition, despite my boots being completely soaked by the third day and the inordinate amount of midges.
in terms of my theme for this month i decided to stick with the florals and go for a wildflower theme. it’s quite drawing heavy but i don’t have that much school work this month so hopefully i’ll have time to draw it all!

I had an exam yesterday, one more to go. it was the written part, so 12+ hours of solving problems, exhausting just like before. I completed all of them, but of course I am not sure if my solutions are correct, I will find out on monday. I'm proud of the progress I've made
right now I'm studying for the second part, so the theory-oriented one, I can barely focus because I've already learned those things and now I have to relearn them again
I'm trying to prove all the theorems on my own. partly to see how much I remember, partly to see how much I'm willing to improvize. as they say, if you're using too much memory then you're doing something wrong so I'm hoping to be able to come up with the proofs without memorizing anything new
my technique for studying the theory for the exam is to first test myself on how much I remember by trying to write everything down and note where I'm unsure or don't remember at all. then I read the textbooks starting from the worst topics up to the better ones. when I encounter a long complicated proof I am trying to break it down into steps and give each step a "title" or a short description
for instance, the Baer criterion featured in the photo has the following steps:
only do "extenstions on ideals to R→M ⇒ M injective"
define the poset of extenstions of A → M, A ⊆ B and a contrario suppose there is a maximal element ≠B
use the assumption to define an ideal and a submodule that contradicts the maximality of the extension
it is much easier to fill out the details than to remember the whole thing. this is probably the biggest skill I acquired this semester, next to downloading lecture notes pdfs of random professors I find online lmao
a friend suggested that I could make a post about tips for reading math textbooks and papers. as for papers, I don't have enough experience to give any tips, but I can share how I approach reading the books
a big news in my life is that I got a job. I will be a programmer and I start in march. at first I am going to use mostly python, but in the long run they will have me learn java. I'm excited and terrified at the same time, this semester is gonna kill me

Heya ^^
The past few weeks have been stressful to say the least. My college is rushing the current semester and so a lot of info is coming in a very short period of time.Im also preparing for competitive exams so that's a little more stressey.
On the bright side I got my first dose of vaccine yesterday and I was sick today.Im feeling much better now though.
I'll update you guys with my plans tomorrow and I have also found some good maths problem sets with solutions.(Manly university math courses).I'll share them soon.
Now gotta go sleep.
I hope you are having a nice day ^^ <3
[11.32 am]I have ODE lab viva soon and I am terrified but hopefully, it will be over soon. I have given myself the task of completing 20 problems of vector calculus.
***
[3.20 pm] I did start but there has been a dip in my motivation. So I guess I will just take a nice bath, cook some snacks for myself and my parents and then sit and study again.
***
[9.45 pm] I am done for the day.Today I did some problems on vector calculus.I don't know why but I felt tired in the evening and just could not sit and solve stuff so I did not force myself. There is some kind of peace in calculating the angle between two very complex surfaces don't you think? Only if I had more energy to go through it.But now I remember also loving the concept of directional derivative. It is not done yet so gotta continue tomorrow.

august 1-2
Hello! Here’s another sneak peek of my Notion school page! My courses for my senior year have finally come out an I got all of my first choices! I’m also very proud of my Notion page now bc the aesthetic is just *chef’s kiss*
Also I really want to list them out bc why not, so my courses for this semester are:
AP Calculus AB
Game Design and Simulation
Physics Core: Mechanics
Classical Myth: Epic and Tragedy
Financial Planning
Mentorship: Senior Mentorship I (which is basically a mentor/research program)
All of these are college level courses (except Physics, which is acc. honors, and Financial Planning, which is just a student life course). So yeah, I have a lot of work cut out for me, but I took even more courses in my junior year so I should be fine now tbh.
And basically I go to a selective (the application was so hard T-T) public residential high school (although its only for 11th to 12th graders) that offers a lot of advanced courses, if you were wondering why I was taking so much college-level stuff. And yeah its pretty prestigious and all that shit bc the average SAT score of students there was like 1430 or smth, although I somehow managed to get in with a 1330 *-* but yeah I love ranting about my school, I could talk about it all day if someone asked ヽ(*゚ー゚*)ノ
1st August - What do you do when you go to the beach?
Lol the last time I went to the beach was when I was in ninth grade and it was part of a school trip so… idk really
2nd August - What do you like most about the beach?
To be completely honest, I just like walking on huge sand dunes barefoot and putting sand in my brother’s swimming trunks
In the above picture I have a calender where I put down major events, tracker for my habits, a monthly check in for reflection and improvement.
I’m so tired today,Btw my august spread.
Happy August you guys ^_^
