continuously take issue with junior formula not holding itself to the same safety standards as other series because they have teenagers in their cars, if the track is too wet you wave a red, i don’t care. it should never get here because we’ve been here, not too long ago. you have an obligation to these kids and make sure it’s safe for them to race. they need you to make that decision. what is the point?
It is so heartbreaking that the junior formula categories are still facing such serious issues with driver safety, what happened today with Dilano was completely preventable and is an absolute tragedy. Truly, it is such a bitter shame that it has taken another young driver dying in only the last few years for the conversation on driver safety in these categories to be reopened and for the FIA to be questioned over their handling of race conditions.
May you rest in peace Dilano.
