Haikyuu boy headcanons: mental health edition because it’s late and I can’t sleep
Tame ones here, TW worthy ones under the cut
Hinata— his quiet moments are always a bit off. He always wonders if he’s enough, if he can really do what he promised Kageyama. Sometimes, money’s tight. Sometimes, he doesn’t see his mom for weeks. He’s tired, but volleyball helps. And his friends.
Daichi— went through his own fair share of self esteem issues, but had good support and now dishes out wisdom like an old man and inspirational Pinterest combined.
Kageyama— pretty lonely as a kid, even with Miwa and his grandpa. Got even worse in junior high. Has his quiet moments but generally is okay when things are happening.
Iwaizumi— ignores his own health in favour of taking care of Oikawa, and learns the hard way to scale back. Hates scaling back so much that he dips back into ignoring his own mind until Oikawa becomes the one taking care of him, and then Iwa’s too scared to let himself go that far again.
Ushijima— self worth issues. Somehow both scared of failure and assured of his own victory at the same time. Enjoys self care as a routine and hates himself when he runs out of spoons to continue those routines. Doesn’t understand why he feels this way. Thinks it’s irrational.
Tendou— tries to take the “guess monster” moniker in stride and plays into it, but it still affects him. Wonders sometimes if his pride and reputation is worth it if he could just be himself with someone, truly and unabashedly. Finds comfort in being friends with Ushijima.
Semi— writes songs to process his feelings and has more often than not realized some things about himself as he writes. Performance anxiety, a bit of anger issues, mood swings.
Kita— king of self care. His routine is his all and he adjusts them when he thinks it needs changing, like how he adjusts his serving portions as he grows. Sometimes runs out of spoons but has a routine for low spoon days too.
Suga— has thought about suicide more than once, but never goes through with it. Doesn’t like the implications and doesn’t think it’s worth it. Plus, he still sort of believes in the “but you have so much to live for!” argument and also promised himself that it wouldn’t go too far.
Oikawa— once the concept of self harm was exposed to him, he’s wanted to try it. He’s a bit morbid with it. Doesn’t try anything with knives and skin but presses on his collection of never ending bruises. Hurts himself with overworking instead. Forgets to eat until Iwa reminds him.
Insurance people: Hello, we are trying to reach you about your car—
Jen: *slams phone onto receiver* NOPE.
I need to know: How much does Jennifer Walters pay in car insurance each month?
There is no version of snapshot that can save her.
Banging my pots and pans here once again, the final chapter of A Guide On How NOT To Make Your Kouhai Jealous is up!

Good morning (or afternoon or evening)!
If this isn’t too spoiler-y an ask, could I request some info about what you were planning to do with Robin in your Maydaisy Universe?
Oh hi Anon! Don’t mind spoilery asks, I already told yall that I was killing off Lincoln and Coulson and I was also gonna kill Deke and Fitz but. Moving on!
I actually was kinda on the fence about Robin because I was. Not planning that far ahead. I mean I tried to plan that far ahead but I also knew that this probably wasn’t going to get to season 5. But! Let me think.
Robin does show up in season 3 and 4 a bit because of her dad I think, but like I said, didn’t plan that far ahead in that regard. For season 5 though, I think in the Destroyed Earth reality, she and May would’ve had that same mother-daughter relationship. Daisy would’ve been dead ish and not there, and May would be grieving, but they’d stick together and they’d help each other through it.
For when the team meets old! Robin in the future, she’s gonna be as out of it as she was in the show. She’ll talk to Daisy and May the most, and she’ll know a lot about Daisy because her May would’ve constantly told her stories about her. She does still get stabbed though.
Not sure if this is what you asked for, but this is all you’re gonna get because it is 10pm and I can’t think of other things to do with her.
Thanks for the ask!
ok wait, reblog if you’ve cried at least once because of math, doesn’t matter which grade i’m trying to prove somethingÂ
I’m supposed to be doing my homework right now! What am I doing? Not my homework. Anyways, listen up fam I have a new fic idea. Got it while I was staring at a beautiful photo of onigiri.
Picture this— Daichi and his four younger siblings, suddenly orphaned during his last year of high school, with his graduation just around the corner. Daichi, now his siblings’ legal guardian, has to drop moving out to go to university with Suga, has to put a hold on his own dreams, to take care of his siblings. He has to do all of this while navigating more grief than his siblings, since he had the most time with their parents— the rest of them didn’t have their parents around as often, Daichi was the “test child” and was more of a parent to the rest of his siblings anyway— and he has to be careful what feelings he show because the second oldest hasn’t started high school yet, and the youngest is six.
Enter Suga: he was expecting his best friend of three years to be going to university with him. They’d planned this for a while now, from which university they were going to attend to which dorm they were going to stay. He doesn’t expect the change. He’s also reasonably distraught at the death of a pair of parents that he loved. He lashes out at Daichi, and Daichi yells back, but in the end, they decide this—
Whatever they do, they do it together. It’ll have its hardships; Daichi’s parents literally just died. But Suga is there to help, and Daichi will never say no to him.
Haikyuu boy headcanons: “how they unbox a box” edition ft life
Noya: tries to rip it open in one go. Like he will grab the sides and literally pull
Suga— knife. All the time. Where did he get that knife? Does he carry it around? Did he steal it? Nobody knows.
Daichi— lawful neutral, his house keys. Duh.
Tendou— the nearest sharp object, like a folded piece of paper or, as he said “Ushijima’s jawline”.
Fukunaga: puts it in water, waits for it to become soggy? Then he rips it open.
Oikawa— makes Iwachan open it for him
Iwaizumi— rips the tape off with pure unmatched physical strength.
Yamagata— b i t e
isn't it insane though how schizophrenic people are viewed as violent and dangerous by the majority of society when in reality schizophrenic people are nearly 14 times more likely to be on the receiving end of violence than to be the perpetrators...
