dnd d&d wood elf our barovia tourists part of our curse of strahd group shali set out to barovia because of some visions she had in trance i think she was the only one who actively thought “I see some bad shit happening in the future and I'm gonna stop it” the rest of us just kind of stumbled into the whole mess she dreams metaphors of coming days and they tend to begin with her staked corpse lying in front of her while the living her is holding the stake she got something of a deal with Mother Night going on who is represented by strangely sized ravens one time she dreamt of her love interest riding in on a pegasus we didn't let her live down this kitschy admission ;) there was more worrysome symbolism to that dream though
