I think these stats really show how people have just stopped commenting on fanworks they enjoy. 159 people hit that kudos button. There are 2 comments, one of them being mine! So really just 1. Just the 1. Out of 159 people.

No, I am not entitled to comments, but you also aren’t entitled to fanwork. I doubt I’ll ever stop posting my fanfic, but this can be so crushing and discouraging to see and experience. I understand why a lot of writers are leaving fandom or deciding not to post their stories. Screaming into the void and the void not screaming back is pretty disheartening.

Fandom is supposed to be a community. It used to be that way.

Stop it with your consumeristic view of fandom. Slow down a little. Give a writer a pat on the back, reblog that fanart, tell that gifmaker they did a good job. Ultimately, take a breath, take the time to enjoy yourself, and let others know their efforts are appreciated.

Just a short, silly thought of mine: So do you guys also think that Dr. Facilier from the princess and the frog would be a hell of an Overlord in Hazbin Hotel/ Helluva Boss????
