When he visits home, Thaila is the first to greet him HREAFRGEAF Bro theyre so distant with each other, anything they have in common is a gold mine to them OH- How Max even got to talk to Sam is that like Sam broke his drums so Sam had to get him new ones- Max took the chance on conversation and boom slow friendship Sam does not like going to their concerts but its not like he has a choice- Thaila wants to go with Sam maybe he'd like punk over time so they could bind over this as well Sam mostly cares about making his sis happy tbh HE HE HSEJBFDDB Sam loves singers LMAO Kyle never appealed to him ig Next dump is the Punk bros ig-

OUGH- IT’S FINALLY OUT OF WORK-IN-PROGRESS HELL!

Hi, everyone! Today is a great day, because I FINALLY MANAGED TO FINISH MY FIRST AO3 FIC, “PROMISE”!

This is a Sam and Max fanfic that I’ve been working on since last autumn and I wasn’t sure when, if ever, it would see the light of day, since I was struggling with writer’s block. But, after months of persevering, I’m happy to say it’s finally on AO3 at last!

Heads-up, though, this WILL contain spoilers from Sam and Max: The Devil’s Playhouse (and its remaster). Other than that, I hope you all enjoy this fic!

Some lore down here:

They were apart of Captain Flintlock's(Flint Paper) Crew. He had unfortunately died due to a rough battle with his enemies, most of the crew was injured. (thats why max has scars)

They had to find a new captain, which they didn't want to do of course, they decided to vote among them self because they didn't want some random guy they dont know that much about to lead them. lol. Sam got chose and had to earn the crew's respect. Which he did over time. Everyone started to call him Captain Wolfhound, he liked due it being a nice nod to his dog breed. The strongest crew member, he could break your arm but since he has a no blood on his hands code you will most likely die by something he did to kill you. Gets along with everyone on board, the respect is really bro-

Max is his right hand man and didn't earn it from just being his friend, The role is important and can't just be offered freely. He is the second strongest to Sam and is not fond or friends with everyone in the crew. One very bad impression is enough for him to not to trust you. Only Max can call Captain Wolfhound by his real name, but he still shows respect by saying Captain Sam. He still called lil buddy and Sam also calls him his best Mate. Max sleeps in the treasure room basically a guard dog.

The crew's name is The Black Steel crew, named after Flintlock's boat. They maybe have changed the flag a bit but carry on in the name of their old dear captain. <3
