So I Played Through The Final Natlan Archon Last Night .
So I played through the final Natlan archon last night .
HOT TAKE despite Natlans 6 really enjoyed the second and third act of the 3 archon quests.
The first one with the Pilgrimmage and saving Kachina was eh. It was interesting to actually see the Night Kingdom though.
The second one, when it came to the war ATE SO HARD. I enjoyed it because it accurately showed how devastating and tough a war actually is. The inazuman war didn't feel like a war icl. It was actually good seeing how dark the devs would actually take the story. And it actually tugged on my heartstrings seeing how the nation was affected by the war.
The third one? The power of friendship final arc?
Beautiful. I loved it. We actually got to see an archon (besides Nahida) do some shit. Up until Natlan 2/3 Nations we were in had active Archons ruling. (Furina is her own category that poor girl was doing TWO jobs at once) And while story wise what happened makes sense for Mondstadt and Liyue, interacting with Mavuika actually felt like interacting with an archon. From gameplay to story I enjoyed the archon quest in natlan. I really wanna see how the Tsaritsa tries to get the Gnosis from Mavuika. (especially considering Mavuika is a powerful opponent)
Also ik people make jokes about Natlans power of friendship theme. But I have to say it makes sense for the story. The traveller has been operating alone in their goal so far and has spent the entire time doing side quests while in Tevyet. Their only goal is to find their sibling however there's a major possibility they won't find their sibling (i believe in the twin is dead theory ) The traveller has to trust other people in Tevyet as I believe they will need the help of everyone they've met or helped when if comes to achieving their goal (even if that is unclear to us the audience right now). From the moment we woke up in Tevyet, there's been an overall theme of community and people working together.
All to say I loved this part of the natlan archon quest. They handled the theme of war in natlan so beautifully. Despite everything else (character designs)

And another thing, she basically doomed him to live a fraction of the trauma she lived for years. He had to see her pretty often, so he'd be reliving the trauma just like she had to since she was a child. And honestly I'm glad she did because fuck the old emperor omfg.

Yes, she pitied him because of how controlling his mother was and yes, maybe she had a few happy memories with him
But she was 9/10 when he first raped her. She spent decades being abused by this man with no means to leave him besides killing herself.
She was groomed and abused for years.
When she was older and saw him expressing interest in yet another young girl, she acted out in anger and built up resentment. She raped and mocked him as she did so. That wasn't an act of jealously, that was her intentionally traumatizing him more.
ARCANE ACT 3 SPOILERS

I should have known Jinx would sacrifice herself because it was foreshadowed in Isha.
Ishas self sacrificing scene has direct parallels to Powders hextech crystal scene. Isha looked up to and learned from Jinx. it would only make sense for Jinx to learn from Isha too.
She was obviously in a bad space from everything that had happened in her life. However Isha made it better. Isha died protecting Jinx so it would make sense for Jinx to die protecting Vi. which is ironic since Vi spent her life doing everything possible to protect and defend Jinx. I need to be able to go into this better. Jinx was protected by people her whole life and they often died as a result. First her parents then Vander, Silco (haven’t watched season 1 since 2021 forgive me if I’m wrong) and then Isha. Jinx would not let that happen to Vi.

The second reason why Sabra does not work as a character in a marvel film. (Besides the obvious that she's Israeli propaganda) is that she's visually aligned with protecting a nation. Any hero in Marvel has always been known to protect the world and galaxy and universe and multiverse as a whole. The heroes of the Marvel cinematic universe always strive to protect everyone no matter their nationality, race, gender, sexuality etc. That's the whole point of being a hero.
Sabra contradicts that. She's a hero aligned with a specific nation who will save everyone but a minority. As far as I'm aware she's presented as an antagonist for the Hulk. She makes no fucking sense whatsoever.
(Im using the broad definition of hero here so don't come at me)
