The people thinking 8flix is fake blow my mind. Like yeah someone started 8flix years ago just cuz they knew season 4 of stranger things was gonna be like this 😐 and they collected all these scripts😐 and did all this work😐 just to throw it out over one subsection of one single Netflix show’s fan base😐😐

I'm just. So tired. I used to work in PR. I know how overwhelming it is, especially when you're a one-man show. Not to mention, large files can take AGES to upload and import. Anyone who's ever been on YouTube or dealt witb the backend of content knows this. Sometimes shit gets delayed. ESPECIALLY with mass emailing. The amount of times my email crashed when I used to run clubs at college was crazy, and the fact that he's responsible for getting copies of what is likely a 150 page file out to hundreds of people, I can't even imagine.

the fact that we've gone from fans not even being allowed to ask questions about the confession scene in 2021, to now in 2025 having one of the founders of creation events actually praising castiel for being a "queer icon" and prompting misha/opening the door for him to freely talk about destiel and how it evolved so much over the years is genuinely incredible. we have come a long way. wow

I just read a post the other day and it was a writer (I love them) saying Mike’s speech was good NOT BECAUSE IT WAS GOOD OR WELL WRITTEN but because it’s definitely some dumb shit a 15 year old kid would say when they’re trying to just say things and I’m laughing cause that’s so fucking true.

Like the speech isn’t good, it’s not deep or well done, but that is so something a kid would say, like it’s realistic and cringey. The more you think about it though, the funnier it is, because Mike was forced into giving the confession and he really said “okay fuck what do people say in those shit movies— oh! I love you on your good and bad days…uh…shit shit okay, I loved you since the first time I saw you! Yeah that’s good, and (what did that one guy say in that movie my mom loves?) my life started the day I met you!”

Like the more you think about it, it’s so fucking funny because it’s so obvious they took the most basic lines from cheesy rom com movies and made Mike say them. Because that’s ABSOLUTELY how a stressed kid would act in this situation. It really looks like Mike heard this stuff in a movie and saw the girl swoon there and just thinks it’s gonna do the job.

Do I ever want to watch it? No it makes me vomit it’s horrendous, but when you look at it from the light I think we’re supposed to, it’s hilarious because it’s so Mike.
