I for one have always advocated for the 13 month calender

Every month is exactly 4 weeks long, its just perfect

(This also means the extra non-month day is also a non-week day)

I will vote for your party if it exists in my country. If not, i would love to create a local branch

i think the year should be split into 13 28-day months with one bonus non-month day at the very end where nobody is allowed to work, including the police, which would effectively make all crime legal.

on leap years this would last two days instead.

the 13th month would be placed between august and september and be called "sextember" because that would be really funny.

additionally, i would shift the start of the calendar year up three months, so that the month numbers of sextember, september, october, november, and december once again align with their names. the fact that this would make april the start of the year is purely a coincidence.

all computers not patched for this new calendar system by the time of its implementation would be destroyed indiscriminately, which would cause a lot of problems that my party will be committed to not solving.

VOTE FOR THE APRIL CALENDAR PARTY THIS ELECTION

A PSA

Hey! If you’re new here! You might’ve noticed that we have a BIT of a bot problem! And staff isn’t really doing much about it! A lot of users have taken to cleaning up the trash on their own, and some innocent people who are new to the site might get caught up in a wave of blocks and reports just for following a blog! Here’s how to avoid that!

1) Give your blog a title.

Just put a title on your blog. Your URL is one thing, but  just name your blog something. Even something as simple as “Not a bot” or “Just lurking” or even something more creative can help save you from a block!

2) Choose a profile picture

Find a picture of something you like! Make your blog unique! Google’s right there, so go get a profile picture and differentiate yourself from these random triangles and balls, or worse, the people with nearly/nude women as their picture! Most people won’t block if they sense a pulse, and having interests is a very not-bot thing to do! So express that!

3) Write a description!

You don’t have to get personal! Just put something unique! Unique here meaning “Different and doesn’t sound like something a bot would do”. Even a simple “Just lurking” or “Not a bot” will usually do. Don’t layer that on too hard though, or people might get suspicious! Just differentiate yourself so we don’t end up sweeping you up in the waves of blocking the spam!

4) Reblog things!

This isn’t twitter! There is no algorithm! Likes don’t do anything! Help the blogs you like seeing by spreading their posts via reblog! It shows you’re a real person, and engages with the community with MINIMAL effort! Know what bots won’t do? Reblog a really funny post that tumblr user beans-4-hire with a clever joke about a thing they’re into. Bots tend to reblog porn. Just porn. Share literally anything else and you’re fine

5) Change your URL!

The default urls read like a collection of unrelated words and act as a placeholder. Just choose one that isn’t “fantasticallyovertgiraffes” or something. Your goal here is just to look like you’re not a bot, and this is a really powerful step to doing so. Don’t use your real name, follow basic internet etiquette, and maybe include something that interests you. Think of it like an old AOL screen name or something. You can even use those if they’re not too embarrassing!

6) Act like a human

Humans are unpredictable. Do what you like. Share what you like. Be what you like. Interact as little or as much as you want. Variety is the spice of life, and if you’re alive, that means you’re not a bot and unlikely to get falsely flagged as one, and thus blocked and reported.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Furthermore, I’d like to apologize to tumblr users beans-4-hire and fantasticallyovertgiraffes, if they exist, for using their URLs without checking to see if they’re real.
a tumblr post by woobifytonysoprano-deactivated2: we diagnose you with a creeping sense of alienation forever. incurable
a painting of a foot, lowered so just the big toe touches a body of water. ripples spread from the touch. under the water are shells, pebbles, and a star fish.
a painting of a person laying on the floor, on a red blanket. they are facing an open door, beyond which is a landscape of yellow-green hills and brown trees.
And if you missed a day, there was always the next, / and if you missed a year, it didn't matter, / the hills weren't going anywhere, / the thyme and rosemary kept coming back, / the sun kept rising, the bushes kept bearing fruit
a simple digital drawing of the earth and the moon, on a black background, surrounded by stars. three speech bubbles come from the earth and read, "we're alive!!" "we did it!!" and "hello!!!"
a painting of a sunrise or sunset over the sea. the sun is behind dark purple clouds and sends beams of light that are yellow and pink. the sky is red and orange. the sea is dark blue and purple. the water and the clouds are noticably textured.
an abstract image: black dots forming a wavy pattern. on the bottom half of the picture, these are horizontal wavy lines. on the top half, these are wavy lines in a radial pattern around the center. there are less dots at the center, forming a circle of white. it looks like the sun over the sea or a face with a peaceful expression. there is a poem next to this: "I went to the place / where I come from, / the sea, and asked / how to live. // Air and water / touched me, / coming and / going. // And along with / the whole / earth, / I breathed. // This is how, little one, / the sea whispered, / this is how / we live."
a tumblr post from @girlweepinginstairwell: trees are very [pleading face emoji] because sometimes i'll stand under the shade of a tree and look up at it and it'll sway its branches about in the wind and i'm like oh my God i'm alive and YOU'RE alive. we are alive together and made up of the same starry stuff and standing right next to each other in this moment on this earth. do u feel it when i reach out and press my hand to your trunk? can you hear me? i think you're so neat. and then the sunlight filters through its leaves just so and that lovely green color leaves me dazzled. it's just very nice to be an alive thing next to a different sort of alive thing
a photo taken in a pond, surrounded by trees on cliffs. the sun through the treetops creates visible beams of light.
a painting of a meadow, a slope on the right. the grass is tall and green. there are groups lf small flowers of blue-purple, yellow, and white. occasionally, there is a single red flower.
a Tumblr post by @pigswithwings: "damn I'm crying over an insect" "why am I having such strong feelings over how the sky looks" "it's weird how happy this small thing made me feel" THAT'S BECAUSE YOU LIVE HERE!!!! you live on this earth. everything all the time is an experience, no matter how common or mundane. this world is unique. so are its small moments. it is good to enjoy a tiny thing. you love the world even at its smallest scale.
pigswithwings
a painting of a yellow-white sunrise over an ocean. on either side are grey, rocky cliffs. in between the cliffs is flat green land. thin beams of light spread from the sun, in shades of yellow, orange, and blue.
a reply to a tumblr post from @inkskinned: good news: all things on this planet are alien to each other. a flower does not understand a deer; deer cannot know the hearts of birds. you, upright child with thumbs: when you lay down in the forest, the alien flower and the alien deer and the alien bird are all there, too. and when you lay down in the city; others like you are also laying down. the creeping solitude allows you to hold hands with every other lonely heart: the one thing we all have alike.
an alive thing next to a different sort of alive thing
I know its a long post, but bear with it, Shirobako just dropped a bomb-shell that every artist should recognize and realize. Don’t worry about your quality. That’ll increase on its own as you draw. Just draw lost. Draw anything and all things. Just draw. Don’t care about what it looks like, that’s not important right now. Draw.
new tutorial, this time for "fake" medals you can use to decorate your jacket or any stuff really.
give yourself a weird award you yourself came up with, coorperations do it all the time!
New Tutorial, This Time For "fake" Medals You Can Use To Decorate Your Jacket Or Any Stuff Really.
stuff you will need:
-scissors
-variation of pliers
-a stencil, the shape you want the fabric part of ur medal to be, make it a bit bigger so youll have room to sew
-piece of fabric two times the size of your stencil
-sewing needle
-sewing thread, i use dental floss
-safety pin
-paperclip, or just iron wire, around 1 mm Ø
-bottlecap
start with cutting out the two pieces of fabric for your medal using a stencil
New Tutorial, This Time For "fake" Medals You Can Use To Decorate Your Jacket Or Any Stuff Really.
pin em to eachother, with the sides you want to be on the outside, facing inwards.
sew along the side but keep the top open, so you can flip it inside out.
New Tutorial, This Time For "fake" Medals You Can Use To Decorate Your Jacket Or Any Stuff Really.
now you can flip in inside out, and fold the top around the safety pin, and sew it down
make sure the side of the pin that doesnt open is the one being sewn down. the opening part should be on top.
New Tutorial, This Time For "fake" Medals You Can Use To Decorate Your Jacket Or Any Stuff Really.
bend the paperclip into something resembling the shapes in the pic below using the pliers, doesnt need to look good, mine sure dont
New Tutorial, This Time For "fake" Medals You Can Use To Decorate Your Jacket Or Any Stuff Really.
bend the edges of the bottlecap to the inside, and pin the hook part of the right iron wire thing down under the edge
New Tutorial, This Time For "fake" Medals You Can Use To Decorate Your Jacket Or Any Stuff Really.
connect the iron wire hoop you made (left in picture) to the piece of iron wire on the bottlecap. fold the point of the fabric part of the metal around the hoop and sew it down.
New Tutorial, This Time For "fake" Medals You Can Use To Decorate Your Jacket Or Any Stuff Really.
should look something like this.
New Tutorial, This Time For "fake" Medals You Can Use To Decorate Your Jacket Or Any Stuff Really.
now you can add decorations, you can paint the cap aswell as the fabric part, using patterned fabrics can also make ur medals look nicer.
ive seen people advise using modgepodge to seal the painted cap, instead of nailpolish, i dont have modpodge where i live but use that if youre able to get ur hands on it.
i hope this was clear, let me know if you want tutorials on any other stuff. i like doing them a lot.
