"When a man is born, he is soft and flexible. When he dies, he is strong and hard. When a tree grows, it is soft and flexible. But when it's dry and hard, it dies. Hardness and strength are death's companions. Flexibility and softness are the embodiment of life. That which has become hard shall not triumph."
some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

Remember: the more difficult you make it for them to realize a report is false, the more useless you make the portal.
I know its a long post, but bear with it, Shirobako just dropped a bomb-shell that every artist should recognize and realize. Don’t worry about your quality. That’ll increase on its own as you draw. Just draw lost. Draw anything and all things. Just draw. Don’t care about what it looks like, that’s not important right now. Draw.
