When you first moved to London your family wasn't happy to have you go so far away from them. And you felt their pain too. It was nerve-racking to move away from home for the first time, but to another country was a whole different level.

Eventhough after years you still missed your old room, the nature and the architecture back home from time to time, you don't regret it one bit. You're youtube career skyrocketed, you've made so many new amazing friends along with lots of happy memories. And you have the love of your life, Simon, right next to you.

But when corona took over the world your regular visits of your family got complicated. At this point you hadn't been home for months and months. But missing your family wasn't the biggest problem the situation was going to put you through.

After 5 months of you not visiting home something clicked in the head of your parents and they suddenly started accusing you of some absurd as well as hurtful things. The topics ratiod from being a bad daughter / son / child to abandoning your family for the so called 'better life far away'.

It was all so exhausting and mentally draining. But as expected Simon could tell that something was off.

The two of you had just finished putting the dishes in the dishwasher when he asked, "You've been a little down lately. Is everything alright?". You sighed at his concerned gaze, "Just my parents you know. Being their usual selves again" you tried to joke about the situation.

"Come here" Simon spread his arm, gesturing for you to hug him. You rested your head on chest and closed you eyes, feeling at safe ease. "Wanna talk about it?" He asked as his hand started caressing your back in a relaxing manner.

"I miss them, you know. But everytime I call them i get blamed for shit i haven't even done. Like the other day my mom just spent all of our call making me feel quilty for moving here. I don't know what they get out of it. Or if they're really just that mad and think its completely my fault. But it's not like i invented the whole virus or something" you took a long breath to keep yourself stable.

"But it's starting to work. I'm starting to overthink just existing in this country. I just-. I just have to decide at some point if I'll stay here or move back to my home country. And it's stressful as well as hundred other negative things". Simon paused for moment before opening his mouth, as if he had no idea how to comfort you in the way you deserve.

"We've talked about this a few times before and you always said you don't regret moving here. She just misses you and probably thinks making you feel bad for having a good life is going to make the travel bans disappear" Simon whispered calmly, making you chuckl for a second, "probably".

"And you've also said that you're going to be done here when you're done with youtube, but i doubt thats going to happen anytime soon. So don't exhaust yourself with that thought too much at the moment" ending his sentence with a kiss to your head Simon pulled slightly away to give you a heartwarming smile.

And as you stood in the middle of the kitchen with his hands draped around you, you sent him a smile back. Simon was right, you didn't truly feel bad for moving here. Because if you hadn't, the two of you would've never met. And there are already too much people who haven't met their soulmate for that to happen.

Just wants to be close to you sometimes. And if you are busy he is happy to just be near you while you do your thing. For example when you’re talking with a friend or a family member on the phone whilst lying down Arthur will come and lie down, face on your stomach so that he doesn’t bother you, but can satisfy his craving for your presence. If you start absent-mindedly running your hand through his hair he might just purr. 

Talking of hair. Arthur’s hair is especially fluffy in the morning and you have to hold yourself back from touching it every time. Until he tells you that he likes his hair played with it. From then on it is fair gameeee. 

Appreciates little, random things about you. From little gestures you do when you are nervous to your favorite type of flowers, birds, sweets etc. Once told you that your handwriting was adorable and almost triggered cute aggression in you.   

Watching some “90-day Fiance” episodes with him for his youtube videos. Arthur finding it humorous to see how flabbergasted you were by some of the behaviors of the people on the show.  

Being used to him making outrageous jokes about people randomly. But even after a long time, he does not do the same thing to you. First, you’re like aww, but then, you kinda want him to go off. 

Lowkey setting jokes up for him, but Arthur never takes the bait. 

After a period of time he understands what you’re trying to do, so now he will not make direct jokes at you because it does not feel right to him, but also because he is a little stubborn like that.

Having that awkward period when both of you are somewhat aware it is not just a friendship between yall, but also not knowing what else it is. And when friends would ask about it either of you would just have to shrug your shoulders.

When the two of you are an actual thing, it would be so fun to see people trying to figure out if you and Arthur were dating or not. Knowing that hiding it would be a useless effort you would tease them a little instead.

Thrilled to hear you talk about your childhood, family, and your home along with the culture it withholds. They all shaped you into the person you are today, the person he adores so much. So automatically Arthur wants to hear all about them. 

And loving your voice makes him enjoy it even more.

Incase you are worrying or contemplated about something Arthur would always try to help you if you let him. Very good at listening and even better at giving advice.

You do not know how he does it, but every time he manages to make you feel better just with his words.

Likes to give you back hugs, but if you do the same. ahahahahaha. Butterflies breed like wildfire in his stomach. And then you have the audacity to kiss his shoulder and ask him if he is okay. Bro would fold in a millisecond. 

Him getting teased by his mates.

HAND! HOL-DING! From the first date to the end of our days. Arthur and you will be connecting those hands as if it's a 6th sense the two of you have developed. 

Down to indulge in that aesthetic couple type of life. Going on a cute little picnic and laying next to each other under the sun after (on that one day a year when it is sunny in Britain).

Visiting cozy cafes early in the morning. 

Stargazing. Arthur probably knows weirdly a lot about the stars as well. 

Actually falling in love with him lmao.

Being with him just feels right. Before relationships seemed so complicated, commitment and the constant fear of losing the person you love to the relationship seemed to be worries left in the past. 

Being loved by Arthur feels like a Lana del Ray song (but he isn’t 17 years older than you-).

Being a full-time youtuber often leaves you with very little free time. And the fact that you and Simon both did youtube videos and streamed too, didn't help either. But you guys made it work, to many people's suprise.

Considering that Simon was a giant you'd automatically assume that he was a big spoon. Yet in reality it was the complete opposite. He didn't exactly mind being the big spoon, but in his eyes there was nothing better than being cradled against your chest.

So here you were, staying over at his place on a Wednesday night. You both had spent the day filming and editing, resulting in Simon and you being absolutely finished right now.

He was ranting to you about a problem involving his upcoming video as you played with his hair. "I just want the problem to be fixed and done with already" Simon sighed and looked up at you. "I know baby. But don't worry, it'll work out soon" you reassured him with a kiss to his head and smiled.

As your eyes were starting close on their own you still saw Simon's smile through your hazy vision. Just before you drifted to sleep you still mumbled out a "I love you", with a light smile. "I love you too", Simom answered and snuggled a bit closer to you.

He closed his eyes and fell asleep knowing that it doesn't matter what kind of hardships he'll face during the day, because at the end of it you'll always be here for him and that was all he needed.
