You might get your foot stuck in a Hodgebodger den! Hodgebodgers are incredibly defensive of their burrows, making them long and elaborate to discourage pokemon from entering. Anything that does gets attacked viciously and without mercy. AND WE ARE BACK LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, My laptop is fixed, my tablet works amazingly. I'll be back to making pokemon at a normal speed very very soon!
Ok, I've been meaning to get out a two stage Honeybadger mon, but my laptop's screen literally died. I can make it work through my tablet, but like, I gotta put my school work ahead of the dex. I should be good in a few days after I get it fixed.

Every once in a while I'm going to post Alter forms of existing Pokémon in-between fakemon, so here we have Alter Parasect! In another universe, it seems Parasect controls the springy mushroom! This Pokémon pilots the shroom like a vehicle, using it to bounce to and fro and spray spores on its enemies. The act of Altering to this form causes such joy and euphoria to Parasect that it dreads returning to its original zombified state! Alter Parasect comes with a free hidden ability to those lucky to have one, Fungi Worker! Alter Parasect draws from the shroom rather than the other way around, allowing Parasect to continue to have a grass type STAB!
After exposing an Octovire to a Thunderstone, it'll evolve into Torreflex!
Torreflex are far more dangerous than Octovires, draining massive amounts of electricity in seconds. The more energy they have stored, the brighter the bulb on their bodies becomes. But they're also able to easily transfer energy, as well as handle dangerous substances, making them popular among the region's scientists for their abilities.
I am so sorry about taking so long to get this one out lol, we just had a hurricane and I wanted to make sure the energy on my crappy laptop was saved in case the power went out.

While travelling through the big cities, you might come across an Octovire on a wire!
Octovire is an Electric/Bouncy type pokemon, and are a common source of headaches for electrical workers, as they can sap electricity from powerplants and electric cables using their tentacles. They also use these tentacles for transportation, as they can stretch them up to 20 feet to help them climb.
Splatoon 3 just came out not too long ago, so I figured my electric Octo-line might be just a bit overdue lol.

Arriving at Mercera Town, you can challenge the first gym leader of Mulvera, Addison! Addi uses Dark type pokemon, with a fondness for the Mulveran Lucario Line. She's a bit standoffish and finds a lot of perky new trainers boring, but beating her will gain you her respect. She wears a mask like Mulveran Lucario's, and it almost seems like she knows what's under one's mask. She's not going to tell you, however. I finally got over a bad bout of Art Block to give y'all Mulvera's first gym leader! After this we'll get you some more pokemon and maybe...some nasty faces. @rhythmicmultimuse for her Addi knowledge and Mulveran Riolu suggestion.

Time to reveal the gimmick of the Mulvera Region, Alter Evolution!
Similar to Mega Evolution, Pokemon use Alter Stones to transform one pokemon per battle. One major difference is that the moves they use can change type as well! Moves the same types as the original pokemon will become the new type of the Alter form! (Single type pokemon becoming Dual type will have Physical moves become the new primary type and Special moves become the Secondary type)
Alter Mulveran Lucario has vines that burst from its body, which it uses against enemies like whips. These pokemon have scars from where its own thorns have scratched against it.

Your Mulveran Riolu evolved into Mulveran Lucario! Mulveran Lucario are brutal pokemon who use their ability to sense aura to sense the fear in their prey. They constantly wear masks that are unable to be removed by human hands, whatever's under it is unknown....and frightening to scientists. However, a Mulveran Lucario can become a powerful ally to any trainer who can earn its respect.
Now that I have more time again, these'll hopefully be out faster! Mulveran Lucario is based of of lone wolf characters and one Addison Brody @rhythmicmultimuse , and is a character you might see here in this funky multiverse pokemon story.

Training in the mountains of Mulvera you'll discover one of the regional forms of Mulvera, Mulveran Riolu! Mulveran Riolu are solitary, and prefer to practice their techniques away from others deep in the mountains. Those who disturb their sessions are found days later on trails, drained of their energy. OUR FIRST MULVERAN FORM, I am excited to show you these ones. Mulveran Lucario may also hold a very special secret that ties into the lore and the gimmick of the region.

Your Kytoul evolved into Geistipede at level 27! Geistipede are fast and quiet pokemon, flying through the trees and are very hard to find in the wild. They're attracted to chaos and unruly beings, though, finding the chaotic and wild antics of mortals amusing to watch and observe.

Your Clairipede has evolved into Kytoul at level 19!
Kytoul are in an almost constant Trance-like state. Some folk stories claim that these pokemon commune with the dead while in this state, but studies are inconclusive.
I've only realized this now, but I've forgotten the egg groups for Kytoul and Clairipede, but they're both Bug and Amorphous!

You might find crawling around some trees, a Clairipede! These pokemon live in trees and munch on leaves, but scientists have observed a strange behavior, in that these pokemon will come down from their trees to stare into puddles of water after it rains. The purpose of this is unknown, but rumors say they use the pools to see into the future. Clairipede comes with a unique hidden ability, Spirit Sight, which lets Clairipede treat all 100% accurate moves as if they were only 90% accurate. After all, if it's not 100% accurate, it's 50% accurate.

Your Chinchillage has evolved into Chinchiller at level 23!
Chinchiller are mean ol' businessmon, who make their gains based on trades of berries, but some have taken to smuggling items taken from trainers. Chinchillers don't like squealers, anyone caught backing out of a deal or snitching is dealt with a hard strike of its spiked tail. Chinchiller is based on Businessmen, gangsters, chinchillas, and that one Chinchilla from Penn Zero who was real mean.
On Route 1 you might also encounter a Chinchilage! Chinchilage may appear to be only cute and fluffy, but they know business. They'll gather in forests to trade berries with each other, but if someone cheats, steals, or make a bad trade, the others will shame them enough to make them leave the forest. I know we have Minccino and Cinccino, but Chinchillas are nice and this one is different I swear lol. Chinchilage is based on Chinchillas, business traders, and just being very cute.
While I get some more of the Mulveran pokemon out, here's a few examples of just a few pokemon that change their type to the Bouncy Type, and don't worry, more will be added than just these five. Aipom + Ambipom: Pure Bouncy Sudowoodo + Bonsly: Rock/Bouncy Whismur, Loudred, + Exploud: Normal/Bouncy
Solosis, Duosion, + Reuniclus: Psychic/Bouncy

Your Herint evolved into Herook at level 37!
Herook are considered ace predators of rivers and freshwater locations. They shoot water from valves in their wings, using them to attack and to knock prey into the air, where they snatch them up in their beaks.
Big Green bird slaps. He's got the fancy hair and everything while beating your pokemon up. Love him.

Your Pekron evolved into Herint at level 18! Herint are avid hunters at rivers, and use flying type attacks to launch their prey out of the water! They mostly dine on fish pokemon, like Magikarp and Basculin.

Travelling down Route 001 you might run into a wild Pekron! Pekron like to hang around rivers and bodies of water, where they can gather sticks and mud for their nests and catch various fish pokemon. They prioritize the group, and will warn all the other Pekron in the area with a loud cry if there's danger about.
This is honestly the first pokemon line of this region that I didn't preplan, because somehow I forgot to make the regional bird line! But I think the idea I have going for me will work. Pekron is based on Green Herons and fishers!
