@therainingkiwi dude, me too. i honestly have been hesitant to say it for a while because i wasn't sure how it would be received, but it's nice to know i'm not alone in my line of thinking. percy and annabeth would be foster parents of every demigod whose mortal parent won't step up. great addition, dude!
Don’t look for whatever just touched your foot. Don’t dive down to find it. That’s the chance it’s waiting for.
Never turn your back to the tide.
Don’t swim on the new moon. The moon’s light is the only thing keeping you safe.
Ignore the sounds of the birds. They will get louder as you ignore them, but if you go to them, they expect something in return.
Only look down to your feet, and never deeper than you need to. The deep shadows are not yours to worry about.
The ocean listens to you, too. She knows things.
Do not remove shells or rocks you find. They carry souls with them, and they will return to the ocean one way or another.
Leave no trace of yourself at the beach. She covers your footprints for a reason.
Do not leave abandoned sand castles. They were not built by children. The animals passing between worlds will not forgive you for the obstructions in their path.
Never move a rock bigger than your hand. Gently shift, but always place exactly as you found it. The creatures underneath know where they belong, and they can find where you belong, too.
”oh so how did you get into writing?-“ no, writing got into me. Actually it infiltrated my brain, starting with the slow takeover of my room with books to the extremely fast claiming of my notes app and now there’s no way to stop it and no way for me to stop.
this has been on my mind for months. finally got around to making it.
the frames for it and gif of luffy eating super quick:
why’re giraffes so violent
most big herbivores are, frankly. if you have a pretty steady supply of food and don’t have to worry about missing a hunt and starving to death, you can afford to throw your weight around more and generally be more aggressive!
that’s why the most dangerous big animals in the world are almost all herbivores.
