How To Tie Dye Milk–well, Theoretically. It Didn’t Work Quite As Well As Planned. You Need To Use

How to tie dye milk–well, theoretically. It didn’t work quite as well as planned. You need to use high fat milk (2% or whole) to get the right effect. A drop of dish soap will cause the fat and water in the milk to mix, altering the surface tension and causing the dye to move. Learn how to do it (correctly) here.

Salt Strings

I’m super here for magic and science meeting together in the best ways. I got this idea from a children’s science experiments book. Add a little bit of magic into the mix, and you’ve got a fantastic ward!

Salt Strings

What you Need

Salt (epsom or sea salt seems to work best)

Gem water

String (I used jute twine)

Two cups

Something to heat water with

That’s it. It’s a super easy and super powerful ward, but it does take some time.

So what you need to do is create a super saturated salt solution. You’ll want to make a gem water that aligns with your intent. I used obsidian and black tourmaline to make my gem water (and I may have tossed a rose quartz in there too because I used that for everything).

Once your gem water is ready, you’ll want to heat it up, either in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl or on the stove. In order to make a super saturated solution, you need A LOT of salt. Keep dissolving the salt in the water until it won’t dissolve anymore. (This is why the heat is necessary. Salt dissolves quicker.) Keep pouring and dissolving salt until salt grains remain even with heat and stirring. I also recommend stirring clockwise in order to give it a little extra oomph.

When you have your solution, pour it into two separate glasses or cups. Get a length of string and place each end in the cups of salt water. Set the cups with the string between them somewhere it won’t be disturbed. (I set mine on the windowsill because easy access and hey, charged with sunlight and moonlight!)

It will take a few days, but slowly the salt solution will start to creep over the edge and along the string. When the water is gone/the string has grown salt crystals along it, take it out and place it somewhere in your room/house. I’d recommend by a door or window so that it keeps evil from entering.

You can also use this method with a paperclip, and grow salt crystals on a paperclip or pencil or any mundane item. You just need the solution and something to hang in the water. (You’d only need one cup for that!)

Be careful if you choose to add any sort of color or herbs to the solution. It is chemistry, so I’d mostly just recommend using salt and water. Adding other things to the water may impact the growth of the salt crystals.

I’ve also found that the leftover salt is an excellent cleansing agent. Add some to your bath/shower or even food (if you’re using some sort of sea salt/table salt/kosher salt). I rubbed a little bit on my third eye when I was having some psychic problems, and it definitely cleansed it out and protected it. I highly recommend using any leftover salt not on the string as a cleansing agent in any of your spells. It seems to be pretty a pretty potent protective agent. Salt is already potent in warding, and coupled with gem water it’s a pretty powerful ward.

Hope this helps! If you use this, let me know how it goes for you!

Physicist Andreas Wahl uses Extreme Experiments to Prove Physical Concepts.

In this edition, Wahl is attempting to show that “It’s harder to create movement in water than in air, because water molecules are closer together than air molecules”.

To prove this he puts himself in front of a gun submerged under water, which shows the strange reaction of the bullet in a denser medium.

Materials: 1. A Plastic Comb 2. A Narrow Stream Of Water From A Tap. 3. Dry Hair Steps: 1. First, Turn

Materials: 1. A plastic comb 2. A narrow stream of water from a tap. 3. Dry hair Steps: 1. First, turn on the water. 2. Next, run the comb through your hair about 10 times. 3. Then, slowly move the comb towards the stream of water without touching it 4. Finally, you will notice how the water bends because of static electricity. Lesson: When you comb your hair, electrons, negativity charged particles, jump from your hair to the comb, and, thus, makes the comb negatively charged. Since water has both positive and negative charged particles, it is neutral. The positive and negative charges are attracted to each other when you move the negatively charged comb towards the stream, which results in the attraction of the water's positive charged particles creating the water to bend.

I Grew Crystals In My Fridge Last Night. They Are Also Lavender Scented. Here’s How I Did It: About

I grew crystals in my fridge last night. They are also lavender scented. Here’s how I did it: About 2 cups of lavender scented Epsom salts. A glass jar. 1 cup of hot water (microwaved the water) ½ cup of additional hot water with food coloring of your choice (I used green) A fridge to put the jar of melted Epsom salts in over night.

Directions:

The ½ cup water, get it hot then you are gonna mix food coloring in it and set it aside.

Put your Epsom salts in the glass jar.

Take the full cup of hot water and pour into the jar over the Epsom salts. Stir for two minutes.

Take the colored water you had put aside and add it to the jar. Stir it up and then put the jar in the fridge (24 hrs)

When it is time to take the jar out of the fridge, it won’t look different at first do not get discurged! You have to get rid of the remaining liquid, once you do, the result will be your very own crystals grown by you!

That Is What It Looks Like It You Try To Burn Biscuits Straight Out Of The Packet.

That is what it looks like it you try to burn biscuits straight out of the packet.

This is what it looks like if you try to burn biscuits after you soak them in liquid oxygen:

That Is What It Looks Like It You Try To Burn Biscuits Straight Out Of The Packet.

Adding liquid oxygen means that the biscuits (the fuel in this reaction) can burn to their full potential. When you just burn them in air, there isn’t enough oxygen (one side of the fire triangle of heat, oxygen and fuel), and that limits the reaction.

Using a series of sensors, Dua’s bot detects when a person is about to run into something and beeps to them. The project took her a total of four days to build. Her prize is every Marvel fan’s dream.

funscienceexperiments - Fun and Easy Science Experiments For Kids
Fun and Easy Science Experiments For Kids

Hi everyone! I'm Ashley P. and I'm a Girl Scout who wants to make a difference in the world. Currently, I've been working on my Gold Award Project, which is a project where Girl Scouts solve an issue in their community to earn the Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can achieve. In my project, I'm addressing the issue on how there are a lack of women in the STEM field by creating a program to do fun science experiments with younger girls. Also, I constructed this blog for parents and children to do exciting and simple experiments with their kids to spark a passion in this subject like what happened to me as a child. I hope you enjoy and try to accomplish the experiments I post! Also, please have adult supervision while completing these experiments.
