insane LBP fact of the day: commodore accidentally giving a beans company hardware directly resulted in the existence of Little big planet.

So a guy called Peter Molynuex ran a company selling beans in the middle east called Taurus, he was a failed game dev and after a miscommunication error, commodore mistook Taurus for Torus and offered Peter 10 amigas if he developed them a software, Peter agreed and developed a software, but eventually came clean but commodore still released the software to moderate success, this caused him to found bullfrog studios with a freind of his, but he eventually moved on to lionhead studios. Lionhead studios hired Matt Healy who helped make Rag Doll kung fu there and that sparked a love for making and developing games. He then eventually left and founded media fucking molecule who then made little big planet, and the rest is history!!

I think it's really funny how Clive Handforth and Larry Pokémon were both designed to be the most boring and painstakingly normal guys around, but each game's respective community immediately fell in love with the character. They are both the kind of people to go "look kid, I'd love to help you save the world, but I really gotta file taxes" if you catch them at a certain time.
