Now I would like for it to be because he’s freaked out about his 13 year old step-sister being alone in a creepy cabin with 1 adult and 3 other boys.

Why?

Because he was assaulted when he was younger over a long period of time and he never told anyone. Most likely by someone he knew, maybe by Neil or an older person he trusted.

He’s like freaking out, having flashbacks to what happened to him and hyperventilating but still trying to leave with Max. Then u know either the original events happen with his history of sexual assault being a new thing and obviously him not dying or he finds out about the upside down then and that changes things.

I think it could be an interesting concept that could make a really good fanfic

(I recently read an Avengers fanfic and this idea spawned in my head.) Harry moves to America, is a famous dancer, is invited to a party by the Avengers where he becomes friends with them. Domestic avengers happen and Loki comes down with Thor. Thor explaining his innocence, or maybe it’s a punishment. BOOM. HARRY MEETS LOKI. HIS SOULMATE. Then blah, blah, blah, plot happens. I don’t know, my head needs it tho.
