Anyone else notice how terrible and disgusting men hide behind different subcultures? Goth men aren't safe. Metalhead men aren't safe. Punk men aren't safe. No man is safe regardless of what label he plasters over himself. At the very base of who a man is, every single man, is a man. To pretend men who partake in counterculture are somehow less violent than men who don't is a major cope. It's blatantly ignoring one the fundamental truth every woman has been taught but has also been encouraged to unlearn. Men aren't safe.

so what do women gain from sexual liberation and hookup culture? they get no orgasms, no emotional support and still get judged and slutshamed by society.
it seems to me that sexual liberation is a misnomer and hookup culture which is marketed to women as a way of expressing their sexual freedom and overcoming the unfair patriarchal standards women were supposed to live up to is actually a way to get women to accept less commitment and emotional investment.

There are many people whose mental states, economic statuses and overall lives would be improved if they simply deleted TikTok. There's someone out there who was on track to become a PhD holder but then she downloaded that app and her critical thinking skills are gone, I know it in my heart.
A reminder for my ladies: EVERYTHING TAKES TIME. YEARS. So start right now with the little that you have and stay consistent. Drink a glass of water instead of soda this time. Do one workout. Take a walk. Take up a class. Read a book. Start the treatment. Learn that language. And try that EVERY SINGLE DAY. A little bit every day, but I tell you something, you will see the results in YEARS. Yes, you will get that degree AFTER A FEW YEARS. Yes, your hair will grow long, AFTER A FEW YEARS. Yes, you will be in shape, you will become who you want, you will heal, you will speak that language fluently AFTER A FEW YEARS.

wow almost seems like this whole romanticization of "girlhood" thing kind of revolves entirely around consumerisim. "little treats". 10 step skincare regimens. when people talk of female socialisation they’re not saying there is one universal female experience that all women have that is exactly the same… they’re saying that in every society women are socialised into a role that is intended to ensure our subjugation and keep us subservient to men. and all women share in this experience, despite its infinite variations cross-culturally: we are intended to be second-class citizens and that’s easier to maintain if we are socialised as such.
A lot of posts from radical feminists advocating for celibacy or separatism are along the lines of "I think other women should be cautious around men, not sleep with them, date them, etc" but then they casually mention that they do, in fact, sleep with them, date them, etc. One post was like "I'm against women sleeping with men...you can't trust any of them...I mean, I'm currently sleeping with one, but I trust him with my life :)" Another talked about being ruthless about your stance on porn use if you date men, e.g. not trusting his word that he doesn't watch porn, checking his browser history etc, and casually said "i have my own reasons for trusting that my current bf doesn't watch porn :)"
