Uranus

Presiding over Orbit VII, Uranus is the Sol System's premier scientist. After an event in her youth altered her axis, she's been dedicated to understanding the fundamentals of everything tangible.

Uranus is credited with developing many fundamentals of physics, mathematics, chemistry, anatomy, and astronomy, among countless theories and laws. Much of the understanding of existence and the Universe comes from their work, and their talkative, vivacious personality has earned them considerable admiration.

As brilliant as she is, her curiosity and ambition often get the better of her. Too often are they blinded by the pursuit of knowledge, and end up harming themselves and others. The urge to understand has its roots deep within her, to an almost visceral degree. They said the Scientist will never rest until the last truths of the Universe become clear.

They also say she doesn't know when to shut up.

What does it mean by "her rings are a reminder of this fact"?

She's not... proud of it. She gets no joy out of her discipline, and even since the death of those Moons, none of her recent punishments come close to what she did.

She still believes the end justifies the means and people need to be put in their place. But she loses sight of the other qualities of a person, and her being a chronic workaholic doesn't help.

The rings are as much of a warning to her as they are to others. A memento, even.
