ps here is a list of all my masterposts just in case 🐝

I know that shopping for back to school can be challenging, only for the reason why you just want to buy everything in the store😂😂…even though you won’t use half of them😑…Sooo here’s my BTS list with all of my essentials that may help you do less damage (damage that will probably destroy your wallet😬).Okay let’s begin.
Back To School Shopping List.
• Classic Notebooks (remember that you don’t have to spend 5$ only for cute notebooks, just buy classic ones; after all they are not that bad) • Pencil case (Basic Black One) • Bag (Basic Black One) • Pens (3 Blue,3 Black,1 Red,1 Green) • Pencils (2 basic ones) • Correction Tape • Highlighters (MUST!!!) • Binder (Basic Black One) • Agenda (For this you can choose your own, based on your style but I just bought a black one) • Folder (MUST!!) • Earphones (I know this isn’t necessary but, I always need a pair of these whenever I’m at school; when you’re waiting for the bus or just have a free period you might feel the need to listen to music or watch a YouTube video or something) • Lip balm (I don’t know about you guys but my lips always get dry during winter or fall so I always need one * KORRES Natural Care Sweet Almond *)
REMEMBER: You don’t have to spend much money in order to have cute school supplies.Your backpack can still be tumblr even if your budget is low just buy classic (EVERYTHING) you will be surprised by how tumblr can this turn out.

Hey guys! Here’s some advice for writing that rhetorical analysis essay on the ap lang/comp exam in a few weeks:
This should only be 3-4 sentences long. Don’t spend too much time on it! Make sure you cover the SOAPS.
This is how I like to do it:
speaker, occasion, subject (1 sentence)
purpose (1 sentence)
audience (1 sentence)
thesis (1 sentence)
Your thesis should tell what you’re proving about the effects of the author’s techniques– it shouldn’t straight up list the techniques you’re discussing! Also, your thesis will ideally be a complex-compound sentence, which means it will have at least one dependent clause and two independent clauses. That makes your writing more sophisticated!
Here’s an example thesis (that I wrote for an analysis of a single paragraph):
“As Martin Luther King Jr.’s ‘Letter from Birmingham Jail’ addresses the criticism of his actions and defends his methods, his twenty-third paragraph declares his complaints against the intransigence of the white moderate, defining the white moderate’s innate complacency as the single greatest obstacle in the Negro pursuit towards freedom.”
There should be 2-4 body paragraphs, depending on the length of the passage. Remember: go with the flow of the text, and don’t force yourself to write exactly 3 body paragraphs.
The paragraphs should be organized chronologically through the text, not by technique! This means sectioning the text by paragraph (1, 2, 3) or breaking it into parts (beginning/ middle/ end), depending on the format of the passage.
My body paragraphs generally follow this structure:
topic sentence- briefly describe what the paragraph is about. use transition words to identify the segment of the text you’re talking about
2-3 CSAs (basically examples)
claim: your position on the use of a rhetorical strategy
support: the quote, summary, or paraphrase of the text
analysis: explain how the strategy enhances the meaning and purpose of the text
synthesis to tie together the examples and state how they work together
closing sentence
Limit yourself to 2 strategies per paragraph to keep your essay focused. When writing under time constraints, I tend to be able to provide 2 examples of one strategy and 1 example of a second strategy, per paragraph, but that’s not a hard and fast rule.
Make this short and relevant. You’ll still have one more essay to go after this!
restate your thesis using different wording (1 sentence)
call to action, reflection, or extension (2-3 sentences)- it can be any of the following:
ask readers to evaluate the message of the piece
ask readers to agree with writer’s purpose
ask readers to examine how message is pertinent in modern-day
ask readers to reflect on the appropriateness of the piece in modern-day
another closing idea
Im going to try to start putting it in picture format too again
With Chocolate Chips: For the entire thing: 133.9 cals | For one (makes 16): 8.4 cals
Without Chocolate Chips: (vegan) For the entire thing: 95.5 | For one (makes 16): 5.9 cals
2 tbsp oat flour Recipe Here-37.5 cals
½ banana-53 cals
3 tbsp cashew milk-5 cals
16 chocolate chips-38.4 cals
Sprinkle of salt-0 cals
0 cal sweetener to taste (you can let the banana be the sweetener too)
(optional, you can eat raw) Heat oven to 350ºF/177ºC
Mash banana and combine with coconut flour in a small bowl.
Add cashew milk and stir.
Sweeten to taste
Mix in chocolate chips (if you are using)
Form into balls (I actually form into balls and then press the chocolate chips in)
If not cooking, store in an air tight container and put in the fridge
If cooking, place in the oven for about 3-5-10-ish minutes, or until they are starting to brown -aka- cook like normal cookies but for a shorter period of time

Purpose: A spell to set things in motion to expose someone who’s wronged you. Meant for people you’ve spoken out against but no one believes you due to the offender’s social status.
A small mirror
A black expo marker or black cloth
(Optional) Candles for protection/amplification
Cover mirror with the cloth or ink and light candles if you choose
Meditate, focusing on the target. (What did they do to you? Why did they do it? How did it make you feel?)
Recite the following until you’re content:
Put on a mask, Lie all you want. The monster inside you Isn’t a shock.
I’ll peel off your mask, Show your face to the light, And see who all believes That you’re still in the right.
Remove the cloth or ink from the mirror and focus on your goal.
